  1. File Name: Mitsubishi F1M "Pete" File Submitter: JimBeamer#5 File Submitted: 06 Jun 2010 File Updated: 06 Jun 2010 File Category: Axis Fighters I needed a Pete for a scenario I'm running, there didn't seem to be one available, so here is The A-Team Ar-95 re-done as the Mitsubishi F1M "Pete". You'll need the original LOD from the Ar-95 package, I'm sure you've done the install dance with lots of aircraft before, I won't repeat it here. Credits as in the orginal readme (enclosed, thanks A-Team), with the following exceptions: Skin by me, based on the original by Pappychksix Loading & Hangar screens by me. This was done quickly as I needed it right away, shouldn't be any issues. If they're are, it's only supposed to be a target but the original is fully flyable, so this will be too (complete with original German cockpit). 4. No probs, I made my own. And yes, aware of the disclaimer re: LOD's, seen it often enough on mods! Just a quick couple of hours work, I'll upload it here for anyone who wants it. JB5 Thanks for the Hawaii map by the way Wrench, you'll notice that's where these shots are taken.
  5. HAMPDEN WIP

I'll skin it for you if you want Ed, I don't think Dave has anything for me to do at the moment. JB5
  6. Speaking of which, check your inbox Dave: Best I can do. It appears to be a MkIII so if you can get Ed to make a quick MkV (like he's done with the Hali) that would be better. JB5
  7. Kevin, my knowledge of decal making in TW sims is embryonic, I'm having a hard time just getting stock TW decals to show! As you know I prefer the heavy use weather look, the decals would need to match that style. In speaking of heavily weathered aircraft, here is the Halifax: No tga decals except the stock arabaic serial numbers on the rear fuselage. Dave, should be in your inbox. JB5
  8. I plan to do that one Lloyd, but they may be as much as a week away. Halifax first, just about done. Then a break while I actually play a Campaign. So if anyone can do it sooner, than have at it. JB5
  9. That, is a great idea Kevin! I've always thought that most decals look far too clean compared to the aircrafts skin, especially the weathered look I like to do. I'm going to try that next time I do decals. Thanks! Dave, Halifax will be complete tomorrow. Do you need the decals done or have you done them already? JB5
  10. Forgive my ignorance, but how do you get the lines to appear where the decal is placed without painting the lines on (something I've never thought of doing by the way). JB5
  11. Kevin, potentially silly question but do you paint lines on your decals? JB5
  12. That S-199 is fantastic! Pity the bump mapping can't be retrofitted to older aircraft models without the max file (if I read what TK says correctly). Lloyd, I can't see your Fury? Are the templates for the Fury still required? BTW progress on the heavies is slow, domestic issues unfortunately! JB5
  13. Thanks Wrench, I've had a flight of SB2's on my base once, and that's about it. Makes it easy to park after a mission (!), but looks a bit sparse, so I'll definately act on your suggestion. I've got plenty of other ground objects BTW, especially flak. I hate flak....... JB5
  14. OK, been playing this mod today, and it's great. (they'll be no comparisons with IL-2 from me - same subject matter and that's about it. We'll leave that there). This is the second (almost) all inclusive WW2 mod I've played on WoE, the first being BoB. Night and day between the two, WoR runs perfectly, whereas BoB does not (many CTD's). I realise BoB is not made for the Oct 08 level so please don't take it as a flame. Now as I say, having a blast in my P-39Q campaign (In know, there wasn't one, but a quick .ini edit fixed that), the only criticism I have (apart from the skins, which I'll fix myself), is that my airbases don't seem to be populated with static aircraft. German bases are, Russians are not. Is this supposed to be so, or is their some little .ini edit I can do? One tip for you guys. The speech was a real immersion killer, so download the Russian Speech Pack. Compulsory, not sure why it wasn't included. JB5
  15. Been playing this mod today, and I'm having no aircraft control problems so far, played a few single missions with various aircraft (and a campaign with the P-39Q) and all good - I play on normal FM though. JB5
  16. Definate "shrinkage"lol! Seriously, noticed the difference and couldn't seem to work out what happened. Anyway, I've got the maps from Ed, and I'll start working on this beast after the Halifax. Today, I'm having a day off to play the WoR mod though. JB5
  17. OK, so "silver" it is, and I'll PM Veltro about the maps. JB5
  18. No probs, would still like the original map though if anyone knows how to get it?? JB5 Edit: Ed has kindly provided the maps for the Halifax and Stirling (thanks buddy ), should have the Halifax done in a few days and then the Stirling next weekend I think.
  19. Yeah, I can do this one too, do you want this one or the Stirling first? The map for this one is better than the Stirling, but again the original UV map would be better if someone has it. JB5
  20. Yeah, I can do this one no probs. The map is a bit weird, does anybody have the original UV Map? I'd like to see the proper scale of the meshes so I can draw the lines. I can take a guess I supoose, but the original map would be better. Is it grey, silver, or white? Time to do some research! JB5
  21. I'll just add my thanks and kudo's to a great looking bird. Well done! And yes, perfect for a War of Independence Campaign, count me in if there's a Team being formed.
  22. OK, here is the Fury: A well worn example, I much prefer that to factory fresh. Now Dave you have the individual aircraft code decals or do you want me to make them? Also, is there a holes.tga for this bird? If not, do you want me to make them? And how do I get the files to you BTW? Anything else left to do? JB5
  23. Sea Fury is coming along. Lines re-drawn and adding detail now. White is hard to work with, there's little contrast to it so it's probably not going to look fantastic. Wasted a while on getting the decals to work - no, making them SF2 compatible wasn't the problem, seems the decal level was wrong. Looking at a day or two at most. JB5
  24. Thanks Wrench, I'm going to try some silver weathering under the white - not sure how that will turn out. Dave, give me a few days and I should have it done. JB5
  25. Dave, I can totally re-do it if you want, how much time to I have? There's nothing to the camo itself, being all white, but I'd want to re draw the panel lines, add more detail, weathering etc. Anybody know what color it would be under the white, bare metal or something else? JB5
