As the TOPIC states . . . Thanks for hosting those missions yesterday Vasco. They were alot of fun and challenging <grin>. See ya in the skies!

Looks promising Stump! Well done!! I'm hoping there will be a way around the "each plane is its own flight" issue. Makes mission building too time intensive

Gotha Over Thames - Tower Bridge No More
Kamikaze replied to saburo's topic in WOFF 1 2 3 / UE - Multiplayer
That was fun! Thanks for those that hosted . . . . and THANKS for Duck and Saburo for helping me verify that I can also host with my current settings. Its also good that we now know that this game will support a DNS entry too (not just an IP). More flexiblity is good! See ya in the skies . . . -
Unsure. Normally this would "ROCK" for me. But the wifey and I are getting ready for our family vacation. I have two "pork butts" and one side of salmon to smoke. I will try. Otherwise you will see alot more of me after June 18th.

Coming late to this discussion . . . . When this movie was coming out SimHQ had a very good article about the compromises Flyboys made. As an example, One of the issues that the producers had to deal with was that audiences were "too dumb" to figure out which aircraft were the "good guys" and which were the "bad guys". So they decided to make each side only have one plane type with obvious paint schemes. Compromises like these are hard for Grognards to take. Another is that each of the pilots is a compilation of several historical aces. Bits and pieces put together. I too would prefer a more historical take. But it is what it is. And action film based in WWI paying tribute to the Lafayette Escedrille and the pilots that flew in WWI. Any film can be ripped apart if you take the time. Be thankful this was even made. I just did a quick search and unfortunately I cant find that article. It was 2 or 3 pages if I recall correctly and was fairly detailed. An interesting read actually.

Great flying with ya too Rickey! And again . . Thanks to Stump for hosting and Duck for getting some of us "sorted". Duck - ThirdWire is a developer. They made sims such as Wings Over Vietnam, Wings Over Europe, etc. See ya'all in the air soon!

That time would work well for me! I also have not flown for along time <grin>. At least . . not OFF.

Maybe this is correct . . and this "looks" odd to me. But then again, I am not an EXPERT in regards to what aircraft specific squadrons used. In short (and I am patched to the latest 1.28a with new HARDCOREDM) I created a new pilot in Jasta6 and the aircraft for the following time frames seem odd. March 25 - 30 1917 ALB D-III MAY 1 - 17 1917 ALB D-III Early MAY 18 - 22 1917 ALB D-III Early MAY 23 - JUNE 8 1917 ALB D-III They had the D-III then reverted to the Early version . . . then back to the D-III ??? Normally I would expect a forward progression. Maybe this is correct. In either case its an FYI for the appropriate folks to look at. Can any grognards clarify if this is correct?
