In one of the first missions I flew I was in a huge dogfight (12 F-4´s vs 16 MiG 17´s) I had a MiG in perfect gun firing position, so I fired and my element lead got in the way, I killed both the MiG and my number 3 Here´s a simple diagram explaining how it happened : -

I get 6 years, but this happens when the aircraft´service years aren´t from 1964 to 1973, ex: F-14D: Service years,1991-2006; but I can only choose from 1991 to 1996 F-4B: 1964-1974 I can choose from 64 to 73 (the years the campaign takes place) -

Some guns also jam if you fire them for too long, but Ithink you can unjam them: in the aircraftobject.ini there´s an entrythat says: [GunData] AllowUnjamAttempt=FALSE Maybe you can unjam your guns if you change it to TRUE -

Wow they look amazing! I started to work on a fictional F-14E about a month ago but I´m just a beginner at 3ds max (actually, I don´t know anything about it, I just follow the steps in the tutorials here) and I may need some help. But so far I have all the structure and flight surfaces and opening cargo doors (it supposed to be stealth so it must have internal ammo) EDIT: It also has canards but the form doesn´t change that radically. -

Yeah, that has happened to me. When I had v 8.36 the talon´s swing wing worked perfectly but when I patched it to Oct 2008 it started working backwards, also happens with the T-45´s opening canopy. If the problem is the opening canopy you can set it to manual. -
FALSE I shoot down about 6 of every 8 MiG´s (or enemy aircraft) I encounter. The person below me applies dogfight tactics from the Dogfights T.V program in the sim just like I do

I created a 3D model of a missile in 3D Studio Max, exported it and added it to the weapondata.ini and the .LOD to the weapons folder. The missile works in the game but it´s invisible, how can I make it visible? -
