I have noticed decals missing from time to time on my various Albatros D3s and D5s. Sometimes they're there and sometimes not. I can't understand. Can anyone explain?

OlPaint01, I assumed the aircraftobject.dll was the culprit, because that's what the little Windows message says that pops up after CTD, but I wouldn't have an earthly clue how to fix it.Fortunately I haven't yet had the problem in mission mode, but a solution would depend on someone smarter than me. -

FE+ expansion+patch, no mods, also getting CTDs in instant action.Seems to be associated with aircraftobject.dll. -
Have you considered the little 'turbo' program used to slow down RB3D?

Excuse my stupidity, but I don't really follow how to achieve this(I have the same problem with Gotha cockpit).Could someone please explain how to do this?

I used it in First Eagles and Battle of Britain II and although it worked in both I experienced severe framerate problems.Maybe my system isn't powerful enough.

Peter, Tried it and it worked, but with intolerable frame-rates-a maximum of about three fps!

I had same problem and it was due to having graphics set to unlimited. Set everything to High and loading time returned to normal.

Hello all.Installed new patch in recommended sequence and find after adding all my mods using the generic mod enabler my game takes many minutes to load.This remains even after disabling all mods.I tried a new install and before adding the mods had an acceptable loadin, but once mods added it recurred.It is very frustrating.Any ideas anyone?

Thanks for all your replies.Maybe it's the fact that I put all the new planes in the mod enabler which I hadn't done before.Don't think it's my system as it worked great pre-patch, but I han't the planes in the enabler.
