  3. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE F86. FLIGHT MODEL APPEARS TO BE VERY GOOD WITH A COUPLE OF EXCEPTIONS. I AM BASING MY OPINION OF COURSE ON THE FLIGHT MODELS OF OTHER SIMS. NOT ACTUAL FLIGHT EXPERIENCE, SO IT MAY BE FLAWED.. THE MODEL IS QUITE DETAILED AND ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE PLANES IN STRIKE FIGHTER, VERY PLEASING TO THE EYES. I DID HAVE ABIT OF TROUBLE WITH THE TANKS, AND WHEN I REVIEWED THE INSTRUCTIONS , CHECKED THE FORUM AGAIN FOUND THE TANKS TO BE EASY TO INSTALL. AFTER FLYING THE BIRD FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS ONE OMISSION THAT I COULD FIND WAS THE LACK OF STALL SHUDDER AND INABILITY TO PUT IT INTO A SPIN. FROM WHAT I HAVE READ, THIS IS QUITE EASY TO DO IN THE REAL PLANE. GUN SOUND IS GREAT, TRACERS GREAT. CONTROL RESPONSE IS WHAT I WOULD CONSIDER TO BE "RIGHT ON"(OK OLD TERMINOLOGY SHOWING MY AGE AGAIN) FOR A PLANE OF THIS ERA. A REALLY COOL ADDITION TO THE DOWNLOAD WAS THE ADDITION OF THE MIG. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR. I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE PERSON(S) INVOLVED WITH THE MODEL, JUDGING FROM MY EXPERIENCE JUST EDITING THE FLAME, ALL OF YOU HAVE CREATED A REAL PIECE OF ART. W0W!!!

  6. wow, cylix....i am flattered you took an interest...hope you like it. fyi i tried to use the mod as the emiiter type o73 too.. but it did not work..will keep trying...as far as a can tell 072 does the f4 073 is the rest...when i did the cut and past then named it 073 it took the flame away from the f105....so back to the mod again...lol

  9. how can i modify the afterburner effect to be longer....photos i have seen show a much longer after burner flame...thanks biosurge
  10. i was able to make the modifications to the afterburner. i am still tweaking the effect. it is much longer and i was able to retain the texture of the flame, had some really interesting mistakes though. at one time it looked like there were bubbles coming out of the exhaust..when i have the flame looking better, i will post the changes and the pics....one question though. i can't get the flame to lay onto the runway instead of disapearing into the asphalt...any suggestions??? joe biosurge

  16. thank you for the prompt response. i tried the download from biohaz central and was not able to get a satisfactory flame color. i understood it was supposed to be a purplish color but i get the same as before...is there something more to the install that the instructions do not explain??? the ini file explanation, did you already have the changes in it to make the flame longer??? or what do i need to change to get the desired effect... good thing i am not in the game my wife would try to change my flame too....sorry bad joke..
