  1. Be sure to duplicate the decal entry with the two meshes, same coordinates which F-15 is it,, Stock, Wpnssgt, or TMF?
  2. you will encounter some issues, but most can be taken care off
  3. As from windows xp, all Microsoft OS's are natively able to open ZIP files, unless that function has been removed....
  4. Checksix is having serious database issues, Webmasters are hard working trying to fix it
  5. Sorry, not sure I understand my comments were of course only valid for Mirage Factory models
  6. Well, the model for thirdwire series is distributed for free it doesn't mean one can use it for other simulations anyway, to use it in other games would require some work from original 3 model which is never provided in the pack...
  7. the hard way, but there ain't no other.....unless the original skinner reads this message and wants to help you dunno who he is, so couldn't ask anyway
  8. you'd need the OUT file to identify the mesh name then testing coordinates value to give proper positionning
  9. >Eraser maybe is file path that is now too long, I've encountered that issue many times rename SkryStrap folder to something shorter (and all related entries...in ini files accordingly)
  10. You can understand, I will only fully support my own model, but if you can use those old decals, don't hesitate
  11. BAF skin is standard, same as USAF, only national markings/registration is different....and very easy to do, most (if not all, can't remember) are avbl as decals and could be reused
  12. No, it's for the still unreleased Mirage Factory Block 15 model We still have several models half finished (Block 15 with and without drag chute housing), B models We might only finish those for the SF 2 series...as this is the way ahead I have prepared another 15 new skins for those, most kind of exotic, not the classical USAF grey scheme
  13. In order to release your work, I'll first check who did the original mod you base your work on, and ask if they agree then for NATO units, in 1952/3, several countries used the F-86 (Germany, Spain, Italy, Norway, Greece, Turkey..although not sure about service entry year for each country) The Hawker Hunter was used in the RAF, KLU (Dutch air Force) BAF (Belgian air Force), SAf (Swedish, Swiss air forces) F-84E and G were available in Belgium, France (along Dassault Mystere IV) Meteor (especially the NF models) were still available in RAF, KLU, Belgium, France This need further search for more detailled info
  14. those "slashes" mark what follows them as remark, nothing the running software will use, only documentation
  15. and of course, our readme didn't include "do not use with SF:2 series"....how bad we are ;)
  16. Indeed, if you look at the dates, you can easily see that weaponspack was made months before any second generation simulator was out, so it would not be wise to simply install it on those.. serious knowledge of the new file structure would be required, as well as new compiling of weaponsdata.ini via new weapons editor all in all, said shortlier, don't do it
  17. most a/c will work under SF2 series, provided you get it all required files, which depends on what is used from previous series Most addon cockpits use elements from stock cockpits, so you should extract and install those files as well, on try and find what's missing some addons were already ported over (no new planes using new stuff from sf2 series, but working sf1 mods...)
  18. This doesn't speak about the video element looking at CPU, you are talking about a laptop I'd really run a scandisk, as thirdwire series is not known to cause CTD like that BTW, did you run other games?
  19. probably, but I think your CPU was way more powerfull than any Atom CPU....to offset a bit the lack of graphical power
  20. depends on the plane you select if it is not BVR combat capable, no AIM-7....
  21. Indeed, as I reported in my first reply in this thread ;)
  22. not really up to details about this "mod" but the most noticeable effect is the way lights and their effects are rendered, so the fact that from some angles the same plane looks darker, almost black makes sense, it's normal sorry, couldn't help with settings, as I still have to start studying this stuff I initially used it to improve fps under windows 7...and for that it works already well, so with some tweaking, I guess it'll be perfect. Something to take into account it's that this stuff is video card related, so settings for one might give undesired effect for another...
  23. Jane's F-15 and USAF are way older, and didn't require a real video card (although having one was better) and indeed, welcome abord!!
