As in real life the Harrier very rarely did a VTOL apart from under certain circumstances. I tried it last night with 50% fuel and a light weapons load on the GR3 and it took off okay you need to be very delicate on the controls as any hamfistedness will lead to it overcontrol and the jet crashing. Weapons where 2 Sneb rocket pods and 2 Sidewinders

Okay I set myself to use the 2.52 weapons pack. I added Bobrocks great F-3 and went to add the tanks I created a folder and then dropped the lod's etc into the folder. I then ran the weaponpack and it recognised the Tanks but I cant view them on the jet when in game... any ideas ? I have WOE Oct Patched with the latest Weaponseditor and all worked great under Bunyap's weapon folder as I did a trial add with the bunyap and I get the tanks to view okay. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Last I heard Mexico dont have any Su-27 series jets they looked at them in 2006 but no order was placed nearest to them is the Veneuzualan Air Force with the Su-30's.

Dave yeah I was down there in 97 and I got a joyride in Charity... The place is like Scotland but with more sheep and less people. Within 20 minutes of being there I had had all weather conditions known to man and a few more applicable to small planets near Betelgeuse... Its a great place if your into wildlife and walking apart from that its cold damn cold and thats in Summer. Height of summer we had a barbie on the helipad went to work and the next morning had to dig ourselfs out it had snowed so bad.... Eurofighters will be replacing the Tornado's next year I think... And to the lovely Syrinx these skins are damn good.... along with your 5 111 and 56 squadron's... thanks for leaving the soot marks on the fin where its supposed to be.... Okay I have a question and I am not sure its been answered before. I currently using the Bunyap weapons pack from 05 with attachments to the listing. I want to know what is the best weapon pack to use? I am using WOE. I have noticed that there is a TMF pack and then there is Pack 2.52both created this year. If I select one of these do I need to addon the additions I already have on my Bunyap e.g. Lindr's great Russian weapons... etc? I use most of the Jets from the 1950's to 2020 in one big setup. Thanks in advance.

Okay I have uploaded the Pack 2.52 and there are some interesting weapons in there and more nukes to fight WW3 4 5 & 6 and a few spares... Anyway still playing about with it. I have downloaded the Bobrock Tornado F-3 and went to try and add the tanks added them as I would under Bunyap... But I had an idea I would put them in as a Folder as in keeping with the set up... Okay I can get them to appear as weapons so I can add them to the jet but when in the game they aren't visible... Any ideas or am I missing something I have called the folder :- Tank_F3 and I was wondering what I need to change to get them to appear in game? Thanks in advance

Also dont forget HMS Belfast (yeah I know a boat) on the Thames as you can then do the Real London Bridge... and the Tower of London and then grab one of the open top buses back to Traflagar Square...

A B-70 does the FM allow for Mach 3 + ??? In out and one deep fried airbase later... or wake them early with a false dawn...

Nice Spitfire but I find the Spitfire is one of the most graceful airplanes about. I thought of th Sa'ar as it was a re-engined Mystere and the Israel's sold them to Honduras or El Salvador. But good point on the Harvard... But I know they used Reims Cessna's 337. I think and called them Lynxes.

Shame that there is no T-28 or maybe an armed version of the old T-6 Texan to use as these would also be pretty good as Coin aircraft and would also be more in keeping with the use whatever you have idea. Also the G-91's are a good idea as it would be nice or maybe some of the early Dassault stuff provided by Israel. e.g. Ouragan or Mystere maybe even the Sa,ar. Which are on the site.

The early Aim-9's had a tendency to lose lock unless practically boresighted on the heat source. In Vietnam they would end up locking onto the ground... No Campfires guys... The later versions are a lot better especially G onwards... and in theory should be able to track through clouds as the seeker heads are much better at picking up heat signatures. The 9L was used to great effect in the Falklands and I know from experience that it rains a heck of a lot down there.

He's right about the Buccaneer looks damn good even on a bad day... and yeah I remember footage of Buccanneers doing the low flying thing... Also how low do I go if I can do a 90degree bank I am too high... but saying that I normally playing at shoot the Sam before he shoots me... In all I figure out the threat and then adapt your flying to it e.g. lots of SA2 / 3 /5 / 6 get low lots of SA-8 / 9 Guns come in at 20000ft plus... if its a mix of the lot then its down low... Yeah the radio call for those is measles (and a big morale boost for the guys in the way out areas). I spent time down there in 1997 when there where Tornado F-3's running loose... but I was on East Falkland up at Mount Kent...

As to the Buccaneer's they used to be tracked visually at Red Flag as they used to look for rooster tails in the desert and there are a few sand tracks when they banked... On a personal note I was on exercise around 93/94 I think and I remember looking out to sea and seeing a rooster tail in the water and then a Bucc flying below the height of spit of land I was stood on and remember I could have waved down to the crew... ever since then I renamed them Fuccaneer's. When you can go that low who needs Fighters??? They used to in 70's out run F-4's on the deck... as the F-4 couldn't get a lock and they where bouncing around... I reckon if they had updated the electronics etc they would still be a very viable strike aircraft today...

This is getting infuriating these TSR-2 shots popping up... Saw the one they have at Duxford and the thing looks as though its doing Mach 2 stood still... Didnt get any Pics of it though... just think TSR2 would have meant no Tornado...!!! As the Germans where interested in the TSR2 and for its time it was more advanced than the F-111's as well range would have been better faster... Sorry to all the Vark Vreaks out there... and from what the Test Pilot said on the first flight said it handled beautifully also the fact it could outrun a Lightning with only one burner lit whereas the Lightning had both lit... says enough about its acceleration... Forget the Political stuff the jet looked was fantastic...

Okay just looked at some photo's and the Mig-29 in them is definitely a late model C variant as the early A model does not have the big spine. Not sure though if its a SE or the later SD version. Also remember the North Korean's will by now have the AA-11 Archer missile and possibly the AA-12 Adder which would make it an interesting day out for an F-16 driver. They also seem to have A-5C Fantan attack aircraft which as above would make it vaguely possible for them to have the J-10 maybe only a couple of Squadrons in the future. Maybe even some of those Iranian rebuild F-5's both in the same boat as outlaw nations (Okay this one is my mind wandering into the theoretical.) Also if you throw in SA-10, SA-11 and SA-12 batteries. Life could get real interesting fast for a Jet Jockey no matter what your driving. I generally go up as a Fourship... My Wingie goes with bombs for the primary target the second pair go with SEAD/Air to Air and I go loaded for everything... F-4 for example Pair of ARM's Winders and Sparrows and maybe Mavericks or Bombs for the primary target just in case my Wingie misses and Mav's as they are great for dealing with Zipper guns without gunfighting them....
