I should also add that I have SF2V, SF2E, SF2I, SF2NA and it is patched to July 2013. Still no Starfighters. If I have to extract the LODs to fix this, where do I find them? Which catalog file? -

I feel like such a Strike Fighters newbie despite mastering SF1. I dropped all the aircraft in the aircraft folder, effects in effects, decals in decals... you get the idea. I can select the Starfighter I want to fly (F-104C) and change the loadout. However, once the game loads, I am floating in the air at zero knots, cockpit view looks horrible like I got whiplash, and external view of the plane is invisble with only my sidewinders showing! What went KAPUT?

Boy SF2 is very different from SF1 that I used to mod. How do you get the sounds to work in SF2? I created a sounds folder within the objects folder for the F-105G I downloaded. Still no sound. What am I missing here? Here is how the folder is set up: C:\Users\CPU1\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Vietnam\Objects\Sounds Still no J79 sound.

Years ago, I used to post in the SF1 forum and did some small scale modding to the game. I took a break to get married and create a family. I was gifted with SF2 Vietnam in addition to a gaming laptop as well as the IL-2 series. The whole Enchilada. I am looking to get back into modding with the first being the highlight of the exosphere in what used to be the ENVIRONMENTSYSTEM.INI file in SF1. In SF2, does that still exist? What cat file is it located within? Many thanks in advance. I will have plenty of dumb questions while I get back up to speed with TW SF games and modding. Converting SF2 F-15SE to SF1

I am doing my first SF2 to SF1 conversion on an aircraft. The choice is to take the SF2 F-15SE Silent Eagle and throw it into my SF1 game. Anyone that has converted craft to SF1 have any tips for me? I have read the FAQ on how to do it and the links of examples with the Hunter. If this works, next is the B-1R. -
Separate WOE Install - No Enemy Aircraft?

I recently did a separate install of WOE on a different hard drive, but removed all Soviet aircraft from the game as well as the Germany Terrain. I replaced them with soviet aircraft but with ME markings and data files indicating they are exported. However, in the game on create missions, I have no enemy aircraft to fight against. So far the nations only in use are Israel, USAF, USN, USMC, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Is there something I need to do in order for enemy aircraft to show from these nations, or did the removal of all soviet aircraft & skins affect the game? -

Soviets are not in my limited nation list. They are still showing up in my Israel 2 terrain. I have reinstalled this terrain several times to no avail. I am prepared to say screw this and just stick with regular WOE and fighting Ruskies and Chinese. -

Hey guys I have a problem I can't seem to figure out. I have WOE with Geopards' Israel 2 terrain. It works on campaigns but not in "create mission." The most recent change I did was limited nations for the map but I did the same thing to all others I have with no problems. After selecting map and plane (stock F-4E Phantom with F-4E Kurnass skin) to fly, clicking accept to move on to the loadout/hangar screen causes the game to hang or freeze on the create mission screen. It does not CTD, but again just hangs. The music is still playing but I have no CPU activity other than just what it needs to play music. I have pasted in my INI files here to have a look. Let me know if there is anything wrong I can't see. I really appreciate any help right now. I love this terrain! Wrench I got it to work again. The issue had to do with the nation IDs. Another problem though is I still keep getting Soviets on Israeli soil. Nations INI is below that I am using. Wrench, My problem is identical to the Iceland terrain in this link: http://combatace.com...ionlist__st__80 However, I included the USAF, USMC, and USN in my first adjustment of the nations and it still locked up. I also removed Iran and tried it again with no success and got the same lock-up issue. It seems like some maps just can't handle the nation restriction coding. I really want to get it to work right for single random missions rather than flying Israel on campaign mode only. -

Do dumping a bunch of money into a legacy airframe, that is clearly visible on radar is going to be better than investing into a next generation aircraft that is superior to others against it? Got it... This makes no sense at all other than the fact that they are setting our Air Force up for FAILURE. Why don't they just dig up old F-4s without guns in their nose and throw AESAs in them too? I just ran across the picture below and bumped up the SF1 F-101A/C File Announcement in regard to the weapons bay not included in the SF1 model I downloaded. Was this a forgotten feature? I would love to have this capability on my A-model for escort. (I deleted it in favor of keeping the C model for Hard Drive space)
