We already have an F/A-18F and its pretty good. I don't see any reason to spend time on remaking it. We need an E. -

Last night I was flying a SEAD mission in my merged WoV/WoE install with the A-4 Kahu. I had so many sam's fired at me. And only 2 HARMs and 2 Mavs. I flew it about 5 times until I was able to survive. -
Yeah the F-35 is a much easier on the eyes. The X-32 looks like the X planes from the 60's.

How do you allow WoV to make intercept missions? I have bombers installed and I want to shoot them down, but without an intercept mission they are never airborne. -

True but I like to fly in scattered or clear. TV and Laser guided munitions do have their disadvantages, like with adverse weather as you mentioned. But when mother nature plays ball I like to go with the Mavs. -

So I'm trying out the F-37. It's lots of fun but the wings sweep opposite of what they should do. I know this is due to the Oct 08 patch and I know the fix is through flipping the values. Mavs are infinitely useful. I like to load down AV-8s with as many as I can when I go on SEAD missions. -

I would imagine they aren't very maneuverable. If maneuverability is what you want then i suggest a FSW design with thrust vectoring. It should be able to out turn everything else. -

Interesting feature but all this realism will make the game much harder. One thing I have noticed after the October patch in WoE and WoV is that sometimes missiles will self destruct randomly in flight. I think this is another realism thing and not a bug. -

Actually FSW aircraft are inherently unstable. Read the wiki article on Relaxed Stability ,it's a good characteristic for fighters to have.The only way the real X-29 could fly was with 4 computers correcting the flight path every second. But even then it is more maneuverable than most conventional fighters. Put thrust vectoring on her and see what happens. I'm going to try your gun idea. In general I'm a terrible gun fighter but I guess it comes with practice. -
