File Name: Sambad & IAI Sa'ar pack (1958-1975) - WOI File Submitter: ekek File Submitted: 12 December 2010 File Category: French Air Force/Navy Skins Dassault Sambad & IAI Sa'ar (1958-1975) for WOI This skin pack for Thirdwire's stock Super Mystère B2 (Sambad, from the acronym SMBD) and Sa'ar (Tempest) covers every Sambad and Sa'ar in Israeli service from 1958 to 1975. It includes several skins for each type that reflect changed paint schemes, attrition, losses, replenishments and upgrades. The serial numbers itself are as real as it gets, but due to lack of reliable and/or complete information, some service dates might be wrong. The Sambad was the IAF's first supersonic fighter and also its first aircraft with an afterburning engine. On December 4th 1958, the first Israeli Super Mystères arrived at Hatzor's No. 105 Scorpion Squadron. When the J52-P-8A engine became available with the introduction of the A-4 Ayit in late 1967, IAF engineers suggested it replacing the Sambad's unreliable Atar 101G-3 engine. While not afterburning, the J52 was lighter and more powerful than the original engine, allowing for more ordnance and an extended range. Other modifications to the original airframe included an extended rear fuselage to accommodate the new engine (also anticipating and inspiring the 'barrel mod' on the Ayits) and two new hardpoints for the Shafrir 2 air-to-air missile. The first upgraded Sambad - now called IAI Sa'ar - entered service in 1969 and conversion was complete in early 1973. Only two years later, in March 1975, the Sa'ars of No. 105 Squadron were replaced with the F-4E Kurnass. The remaining Sa'ars were sold to Honduras in 1976. INSTALLATION: Extract the content of the archive and put the Objects folder into your WOI mod folder. CREDITS: Original skins and decals - Thirdwire Silver skin repaint - ekek Decals and inis - ekek & wilco Testing - Team Flying Dragon SOURCE: http://idfaf.110mb.com/SMystere/SMystereMain.html Enjoy! Same here. Anyone knows how to make it work on WOI? -
Hi, For some reason the view from any cockpit in my FE is too small. It used to be normal, but I guess I did something and now there's a "fish eye" kind of view. I have no idea how to change it back to the original size view. The starting point view is a lot smaller than it used to be, but still if I press F2, it will get even smaller, and F3 will get it way too big. Can anyone help me? It's impossible to play the game. Thanks

It worked!!! Thanks guys! I can play FE again!

Saudi Tornado F.3 (ADV) request
ekek posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Hi guys, I'm in the process of making a RSAF skin for the Tornado F.3 mod. Everything is ready, except the serial numbers. Does anyone have a list and some good pictures of them? Thanks! Eyal -
Well both games you don't play with your legs. But when you're right, You're right. LOL The important thing is that they are out and they will not be back. They didn't deserve to be there anyway. Here is another well deserved defeat for the French team. The year is 1993, and France needs a draw to go to the 1994 world cup. They are playing against Israel, which did not win a single game throughout the whole campaign. The French team is the all-star team of the day, with Deschamps, Blanc, Petit, Desailly, Lizarazu, Cantona etc. The game is held in Paris and the French already got their after-game parties and celebrations ready. But someone had other plans, and that's what happens when you play with your nose in the sky: At least the USA team won and went up. They deserved it after they got robbed of a perfectly good goal last game (and another legal goal in this game too). Not so happy about the English team going up. A bunch of pompous cry-baby individuals filled with weird self importance that they totally do not deserve. What did they accomplish since 1966???? The answer is NOTHING!!!!

The French basketball team is OUT!!!! Justice has been done. Good riddance. P.S. I heard Thierry Henry got an offer from the L.A Lakers for the next season. Can anyone confirm? LOL

MiG-17PF camo skins (WOI)
ekek posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
File Name: MiG-17PF camo skins (WOI) File Submitter: ekek File Submitted: 11 Jun 2010 File Category: Mig-17 Fresco Skins Here are 3 camo skins for Spillone104's great MiG-17PF mod. I used the same basic WOI stock skin for all of the skins because the mod allows only one skin to be used at a time (because of the new nose addition). Luckily, Arab air-forces use similar camo patterns so it's not a big deal. Included are an Egyptian, Iraqi and Syrian skins. Drop the files in the right folders and it should work great (tested on WOI). Overwrite files if necessary. Have fun!!! Click here to download this file -

I am a legal immigrant to the USA and I'm in this status for the past 3 years. I did it the right way though and I can tell you it's a long, annoying and expensive process. BUT!!!!!! I had no doubt in my mind that I would do it the right way. Illegal immigration gives a bad name to all of us legal immigrants. I can tell you from personal experience how hard it is over here to get the approval of the locals once they hear the word "immigrant", And that is because of the illegals. The immediate conclusion they have is that if one is not an American citizen, he is an illegal. I am from Israel. Frankly there are more freedoms and comforts in my homeland and the weather is so much better there. But I am married to an American citizen and one day I will be an American citizen too. I will do it the right way though and it will cost me money, time and probably some mental health. I see no problem in laws against illegal immigration. You cannot have law-enforcement agencies and then tell them they can't do their job coz it doesn't look good. Everyone should have some kind of ID on them anyway if it's a driving license or in a case of an immigrant, a green card or a visa. If a policeman asks me to identify myself, I'd be proud to show him my green card that I worked very hard to get. In my opinion, illegal immigrants spit in the well. One cannot benefit from a crime and coming here illegally is a crime. Bringing up the fact that this is a nation built on the backs of immigrants is a nice try but every nation has it's history and we are living right now and a nation needs to protect itself from whatever dangers it sees fit. There are rules and if someone wants to live somewhere, he should do it by the rules of that place. Illegal immigration makes it harder for legal immigrants like me who work hard to get to where they want. They make the process harder and that makes life harder for legal immigrants and their families. Just my 2 cents

Here are my Lebanese Mirage IIIEL's that I Created for myself. A pretty neglected subject in my opinion. They are based on the Mirage Factory Mirage IIIEA and skin wise, they pretty accurate. Credit goes to Paulopanz for his awesome work on the numbers decals. Thanks buddy! Eyal -

two skins for the WOI Mirage3c I've been working on lately of the 117sq. One is supposed to look new and the other one a bit worn-out. When I'm done with them, I will post the skins for download. -
Israeli Super-Mystere B2 (TW WOI)
ekek posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
File Name: Israeli Super-Mystere B2 (TW WOI) File Submitter: ekek File Submitted: 28 Mar 2010 File Category: French Air Force/Navy Skins This is a correct skin for WOI early Super-Mystere B2 from the beginning of it's service in the Israeli Air-Force in 1958 until around 1963. I used the original TW silver skin and added the red arrow and some other details. I would replace the plain silver skin in the original game with this, because there were no plain silver SMBD's in the IAF to my knowledge. Drop it in the aircraft's folder and have fun!
