  1. I have already checked SpecificStationCodes but this is not the problem. Usually missiles don't shown up because of an error in missile parameters but in my case it can not be recognized even by weapons editor!
  2. An air to air missile needs to accelerate very fast during the first seconds after the launch so that it will be able to fly faster and longer. Just after the missile launch, you will see the burning gases which come out from the missile tail. This is the missile booster. After some seconds, the booster stops and the missile keeps flying with the sustainer motor but not every missile uses the last one. You can make it look different by changing the booster effect. Open weapons editor and make your changes. Keep in mind that a change in booster time or booster acceleration will have impact on missile's maximum speed, maximum range, duration etc. In SF2 downloads section there is a useful application called Missile Range Simulator. It will help you to edit missile's parameters as you like.
  3. I have a problem after installed the latest update. This huge bird isn't displayed in the radar! I tried with Mig-29 and Mirage 2000 to guide R-27 and Super 530 but I was unable, so I could fire only IR missiles. I tried all A-A modes but radar could not show B-52G/H even in 5 NM !!! I think this is very contradictory beacause B-52 normally should be appear in the maximum (search and track) range of a radar due to its size. Any thoughts?

  6. Where did you get that screen? It mentions that AIM-120D has a maximum range of 180 Km !!! I guess this is a mistake. Maybe 80 Km but not 180 !
  7. There's a problem with R-27ET "AA-10 Alamo-D". Inside the folder there is the data.ini file but there is not the Weapon_name.ini file and the weapon can not be selected and doesn't appear in the weapon editor.
  8. I my opinion SF2 needs at least 4-5 Foxbats variants. Mig-25P, Mig-25PD, Mig-25PDS for intercept, Mig-25RB for reconnaissance and Mig-25BM for SEAD missions. Maybe with some changes the basic Mig-25PD cockpit could be edited to fit to other variants although some variants have different radars.
  9. My vote goes for South Africa! It would be great to see the SAAF Mirages, Buccaneers and Cheetahs against Angolan Mig-21 and Mig-23.
  10. I have already installed this weapon pack but it doesn't include Super 530 or any other medium range missile which can be carried by Mirages.
  11. Cockpit is fantastic! I suppose it will be used along with the other Foxbat variants. Also great aircraft model!
  12. I wanted to mention something about the Super 530 missiles (both D and F versions). As I can see mostly from users pics posted here and there, the most common weapon model which is being used is the white model which comes with the Mirage 2000 AdA pack. After many launches against enemy aircraft, I have to say that the kill ratio is surprisingly dissapointing plus it's very slow! Only about 20% of the launches in short ranges hit the target! I think this is a very low kill ratio even for the real Super 530 which is designed to hit targets at medium distances (Maximum range about 40 km according to wikipedia and ther sites) with much higher kill possibility with a speed of almost Mach 4 in high altitude! I know that several factors affects a missile shot but in compare with the older blue model which comes with the ordnance pack, things are very diffrent. The blue Super 530 is incomparably effective and faster. According to my experience (I am a Mirage F.1 / Mirage 2000C fan) the blue missile (both versions) achieves at least 3 kills out of 4 shots in ranges at least 12 - 15 NM. I don't say that the blue missile is closest to the real one because I don't know but I think that it's more closer than the white model. I was wondering if we could make the white model more accurate with the real missile.
  13. Back wheels of Su-7BMK(EAF) are not aligned as you can see. I installed the plane correctly I think. What would have caused this? Any ideas about how to solve it? Thanks!
  14. Nice effect pack! Is there any way to increase or decrease the booster effect of the missiles? For example AIM-9/AA-8/R.550 Magic should have smaller booster. AIM-7/AA-7/Super 530 should have bigger and AIM-54/AA-6/AA-9 should have even bigger.
  15. I have a problem with the IR versions of AA-6 Acrid and AA-7 Apex (the ones from the ordnance pack). Missiles R-23/24T and R-40T/TD/TD-1 behave as SARH missiles. They need a target to be tracked, so that they can be launched plus the characteristic IR sound can not be heared. The guidance in weapons editor has been selected as "Heat Seeking". Can it be a problem of the launch aircraft? I mean is it possible to be an IRST fault or avionics fault of Floggers or Foxbats? In the meanwhile, stock R-23/24T is OK.
  16. Can I change the skin of weapons? For example I want to change the blue Super 530D/F camo and replace it with the more detailed grey camo. I know that a weapon displays the image file which is being included inside the weapon's lod file. I don't think that I only have to delete the default image and replace with a new one by using the same image file name. Any help? Thanks!
  17. I tried to do exactly this thing but it seems that this doesn't work in my case. I also can't understand why many weapons from weapon pack don't include any lod files. Do they share them with the stock stuff?
  18. I have the same problem. When mission loads, stops at 100% and then pc stops working. The only difference is that I haven't installed the latest patch.
  19. I had this problem too for a while. The actual problem was that there was not an explosion on a single aircraft, but there was a collision between aircrafts from the same formation on the runway, just before take off. As fas as I can remember the problem was appearing on some terrains and only when I had selected red side aircrafts. The problem was that for some reason, two or more aircrafts had been starting exactly from the same position, so If I had selected "hard" for collision in menu then there was just and explosion and the player's aircraft had always been between the ones that were collided.
  20. So, which factor refers to the maximum missile range? In which way I can edit the maximum range for each missile?
  21. After I installed the latest patch, I realised that I can't extend the mission dates beyond the stock dates. I have a merged install of the four SF2 titles. With previous patches I could select for example to fly with a Phantom in 2010. Now I can oly select the stock dates. I edited the allowed dates in the terrain_name.ini of each of the four terrains but nothing happened. I also extended the service years in the data.ini of some aircrafts but again nothing. Any help? Thanks!

  23. This specific camo was used for the US T/A-7Es which were transferred to Hellenic Air Force in early 90s. T/A-7Hs which were bought in mid 70s had and still have the usual camo which has white colour in the air intake. Just to mention that the real colour is darker.
