Great to hear that they didn't give up after the last crash. Let us know on this topic how the show were. Salute (to the Thunderbirds also) Dutchy
  2. Favorite Movie

Mine favourite is not a war movie. It is "Embrace of the Vampire" with a lovely and sexy Alyssa Milano. Salute Dutchy
  3. 1918-2003 85 Years After Ww1

Are here also people stand still that that war has to supose to end all wars? They call it the Great War. Next week I go for three days to Ieper to remember this history. First tanks, first warplanes, trenches, gas and massacre. It is not a fun trip, it is pure history and remembrance. Salute Dutchy
  4. 1918-2003 85 Years After Ww1

I'm back. In three days to many things what I saw. I walked in a underground trench about 25 meters. Visti many cemetaries and musea. At the Menengate was one of the last Veterans of the WW1 (there are still live now 26/27 of the Commonwealth). I shaked his hand. He is 105 years old. Another book I just reading now from Lyn Macdonald is about the Somme. Maybe I'm gonna order the Dutch written version of They Call it Paschendale. It was not for sale now in Ypres (Ieper). The people I talked with were really surprised that we came for the memorials. You know The Netherlands were nutral in that war. Salute and thanks for the book recommands. Dutchy
  5. A Few Aircraft Pictures

From witch country are the MiG 29's? I can't find it on the site. And have you a picture of it? Salute Dutchy
  6. A Few Aircraft Pictures

Is that in Dayton Ohio? I visit that museum in 1998, but I see that is changed now with other planes. Nice pictures. Salute Dutchy
  7. Drinking Alone....

Drinking alone is NOT alcoholism. It is EGOïsm. :P Have a nice time, about twelve hours from now (local Dutch time) and I go to the bar to celebrate my weekend. Salute Dutchy

  9. The Israeli Pov

Nesher, I showed the site at a colleague of mine. He found it intresting. He visit your country (Israël) a couple times for friends and remembers places what been bombed (sorry for the language). He told me to thanks for a site like this. Salute Dutchy
  10. The Israeli Pov

I hope everybody knew that the (stupid) poll is not mine meaning about Israël or USA. And I leave it by this. Salute Dutchy
  11. The Israeli Pov

PCPilot your right about mine opion of the USA. I was it in the past, I'm now and in the future I'm also behind the USA. Mine opion is not changed. Most people that I know are behind the USA politics and what they do in Afganistan and Iraq. Now why I think why most European civilians find Israël dangerous. Simple question with a simple answer. Our politics in Europe are stand behind Israël. Civilians see tv and read papers. Every week (some each day) we see or read about Israël. Negative in the news with bombblasts and shootings. Thinking about that country in the Middle East surrounded by Arabian countries and near by Europe is the danger right on the corner. We are afraid that one day a terrorist comes in our country, because our politicians stand behind Israël. Is that strange??? I don't think so. Salute Dutchy
  12. The Israeli Pov

I saw the site. I thought I get to see a name list and numbers of victims. But I saw only a map and text. In Europe was a poll who was the most dangerous country in the world for the peace. Guess who won......................................no not Iran or Iraq. It was Israël. Salute Dutchy
  13. Museum

Maybe I have the answer for the "prop" with no name. I think it is a Grumann Tracker. They flew also on the only carrier in the Netherlands: Karel Doorman. The other jet with no name (you called it "any?") If you had a better pic of that plane? That make the search easyer. It looks like a great and nice museum. Thanks for the pics and promotion. Salute Dutchy
  14. Last Flight

I saw it yesterday live on tv. I like planes, but had never seen the Concord. :( But.....it was is last "passengers" Flight. You never know what a museum do with a example of the Concord. Salute Dutchy
  15. Nhl 2004 Review

Last Friday I bought NHL 2003 for mine X-Box. O.K. it is maybe a half year older than NHL 2004, but it was cheaper than the new one. Good graphics and actions. What I did with the rest of my money? Asked my bartender...... Salute Dutchy
  16. Off To See Kiss And Areosmith

"Tonight...I give it all to you...." Yeah Kiss is great. I like rock music. Give me Peter Pan Speedrock (Dutch psychobilly), Iron Maiden, Scorpions and ACDC and many more headbang music. But.......Elvis Presley is the only man with his music what is timeless. Salute Dutchy (who's listing in his car Scorpions Live"
  17. Please Visit This Site

Hello Snapple 2993, I visit this day (and a few days ago) the site of your team. Now I think your the goalie? I have one question. When are the statics online after a game? How many teams are there in your competion? Think I'm gonna follow your team by internet. "GO FSU". So that's why a had my question. That's means your team has a fan all the way from the Netherlands. One last question, are there in your competion players from Europe? Salute and keep the goal clean of pucks Dutchy

  22. Where was you at 9-11-2001

I remember that day. It was around 14:30hours (local time Netherlands), when people at my office asked me the site of CNN and other newschannels. A lady told me that the WTC was hit by a plane. My question to her was: Is it foggy in America and is it a Cessna?. Than the news came on the radio. I get my answer. It was a Boeing 767. And more people asked me how it can happen (I'm planespotter, that's why people asked me). Than I drive home and watch the news. Live on tv I saw the first and than came the second tower down. Strange to see it. It looks like a movie, but a voice in my head keeps telling me: "this is real". So this is a fraction of what remember. Remember the people that fallen at 9-11. Salute Dutchy
  23. Leni Riefenstahl dies at 101 (it was just a Nazi)

The Nazi moviemaker is died at her heart. An heart that never was good because she had Nazi sympathics/feelings. Even after the war. Her famous movie/documentary was "Triumph des Willens" at Neurenberg.
  24. Describe your job.

I work 40 hours in a week. And spend my money at a bar in the weekend.
