People from USA. I read the news for tourists and travellers. Some gave the tip: Go Canada if you don't want questions about war in Iraq or about Bush. See this of CNN http://edition.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/americas...s.ap/index.html For the record. Not everybody is against USA. You see only the negative news of non supporting. I stand behind the Iraq war. Man and woman of USA are welcome by me. Salute Dutchy

December 7th 1941 - December 7th 2004 REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR! Never forget what enemies can do! Stand still and think about the men and women that fight a war 60 years ago in a foreign land far away. Stand still and think about the men and women that still fight today in a foreign land far away. Remember the fallen, remember the living. Remember the past, look to the future. Don't forget the history when the last veteran is passed away. REMEMBER......... Salute to all veterans young and old, Dutchy

I spend times on the internet to see if their is news, forums or sites about the living today WW1 veterans. It is not easy to search, does somebody know if their is a site where I can find names, birthdates and records how many are still alive? I am intrested in their stories (maybe some has it told on a internet news site). What I know is that are in Great Brittian living around 23 veterans. But I don't read about American, France, German or other countries. Thanks allready for links of sites and helping. Salute Dutchy

To Weasel_87FIS, Americans did fight in France and they had their first own operational fight victory in Saint-Mihiel ast September 16 1918. Before that they were under command of France or English Generals and others. Argonne woods is also a place where they fight, there was also the 82nd Division (we know it as 83nd AA, in 1944 Airborn operations D-Day: AA stands for All American) Near Cambrai at Bellicourt and Riqueval is a monument for the Americans and a cemetary. If you wanna know more about the war. I reccomand www.firstworldwar.com. And is that not enough. Just surf on the internet or let me know it and I will help you. Thanks for your help and searching. Hopely for you and your dad can he makes his dream come treu. But even as Weasel_87FIS says, the last Phantoms are drones/targets. And I thought also that are one of the few still flying. In a magazine Aircombat (I think) was an article about it. I saw it last in the bookstore (in Europe) Wish you luck with the search and more luck with trying to get the flight for your dad. Hello, For everybody that is intrested in WW2 is this the movie of the year. Maybe of the last few years. It tells the last days of A.Hitler. When he is gonna be crazy and still thinking about winning the war. The actor plays the role fantastic and the whole movie is fanstic. Okay, when you leave the cinema you don't laugh, it is a serious film, with blood, tears and frighting moments. It is made about the story of Hitlers last secretary lady. She died a few years ago. It is so real the movie and playing of the actor that is going to the Oscar nomination. So everybody, visit this movie if you are intrested in the WW2 and specially the last days of Hitler, Berlin and his people from young to old. It is a total different movie than Saving Private Ryan, Pearl Harbor and Thin Red Line. It is NO Hollywood. It is German reallity. I hope the actor and the film win a Oscar. Salute Dutchy

PG-Raptor, this is what I found on the internet. Read it and look at the pictures. And mine problem is that I can only find about British veterans. The last two Belgium veterans died this summer. Salute Dutchy

Went to Ieper in Belgium this week. Visit the Last post and Poppy parade at the Menengate November 11. This year were no WW1 veterans. Also visit some musea, trenches and dug outs. I was also at cemetaries of English and German soldiers. Stand still by a young soldier. AGE 14 JOHN CONDON. This was the war to end all wars. We learn nothing when you look at the world today. Salute to all veterans of all nations in each war spread all over the world. We will Remember them. Dutchy

Today I went to Belgium Kleine Brogel AB. To see the last tour of the operational Italien F-104. He took of in Red Colour with white tail. On the tail a Ferrari horse logo painted. It was the planenumber 999. Al the smoke behind him, he turned, flew for the last time over the base. Waved to all people on the base and around. Took his nose up to the sky......and dissapeared. Good bye, a historic plane is out of duty. Salute to all F-104'4, Dutchy

ShadowXP, I found the site for you (at my work). http://www.starfighters.net/ Hopely this is information what you want or what you like to see and read. Salute Dutchy

Good news for you ShadowXP if you like a demoteam of F-104. Their is a Starfighter demoteam. It flew with two bleu and white painted F-104 in the USA. (one and a two seater) I don't know where you come from, but they do shows. In 1998 I saw them at Jacksonville Florida airshow. A couple Vietnam vets are flying those planes. When I am home (at work now) I put their internetsite on this topic if you want. But sad is it that the last operational flying Starfighters quit. A demoteam isn't the same as a operational plane. Nesher, mine pictures are still in the camera. I found on internet a picture of the F-104 that I saw yesterday. It is a taken on a other day and location. But now you can see the colours of the plane. He looks good http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=6572...jdg=&static=yes Hopely the link wil working, Salute Dutchy

Hello people from Hockeytown, There is a lockout. What do you see now for icehockey on tv or live in a stadium? Many NHL players are going or still are in Europe. Maybe one NHL player is going to Amsterdam if the lockout is going on in January next year. The Dutch competition is already started and mine favourite team is at the top. Every saturdaynight I am going to see them play. Seasonticket for the Flyers. Other question. Some Dutch players play now in North America in lower Icehockey classes. Somebody seen them play? Salute Dutchy

Yesterday was a historic day about civil space-aviation. On the same day died Gordon Cooper. A space legend and one of the "original seven". http://www.nasa.gov/vision/space/features/cooper_obit.html For people that intrested in the early years of space-aviation I recomand you to buy the dvd "The Right Stuff". ( you can also read the book). Salute to the spacecowboys, Dutchy
