Wow, this is great when you love Heavy Metal/Hard Rock of the eighthies. http://www.hardrockin80s.com/ When I beginning with work in the morning at seven o'clock than is this station playing their Heavy MetalNight eight hours earlier (for them, that is timechange between Europe and USA). So listen to this if you wanna rock. Salute Dutchy

Happy birthday. Have a nice day. Salute Dutchy

In the newspapers I saw a little message that the USA is returning or replacing troops from Europe and Korea. Only in Europe will three bases stand. Ramstein, Spangdahlem and Stuttgart(??). I don't like it, they bring the good stuff as modern planes and work. But in this time with terror is the eye turning to another point of safety. So long, soldiers, marines, navy and airmen. I was glad that I met some friendly people of you. Salute Dutchy

Tomcat, a big name in the aviation world. When you say that, everybody knows which plane you meant. Plane with history, to late for Vietnam, on time for Libya in the eighties and played in the movie Top Gun. Everybody wanna be a pilot in those days in a Tomcat. When is the last day coming when that plane fly? Salute Dutchy

So that is good, Frenchie. Keep painting. Is it just for fun? It looks better than that. What is your next project? Maybe another French plane (Mirage IV, for example). Salute Dutchy

you're welcome, hopely you had a good day. How is it now in Greece with the Olympics? salute Dutchy
-
That is what you wrote Scott_51. Now has Venozuela a election and what does USA say: We don't trust it. Why: The wrong president didn't win (in the eyes of America). So if you wanna say that nobody has the right to control USA election, than has USA no right to control other countries. That is fair enough. Hopely for America is this time the election going well and good. Better than 4 years ago. Salute Dutchy

People, Tonight (for me, for not Europeans an other daytime) is the opening of the Olympics 2004 in Athene. Hopely it gonna be a nice, great and sportive games. Off course I hope the mine country will take medals at home. My favourite sports what I gonna watch is Cycling (men and women) and Baseball. About baseball I have a question for our American friends: Why doesn't USA don't compete the baseball game? Salute Dutchy
-
I saw womencycling yesterday live after the morning. Mine favourite touched the road and didn't finish, no gold medal this time for her. :( Baseball team did win of Greece :D And USA loose their basketball game. Dreamteam? I don't think so. Salute Dutchy

It looks like you took some pictures a little bit in secret (the ones with hair in picutures). The world has a peacekeeper extra now A little quote from somewhere: When Palestines drop their weapons down is Peace coming. When Israel drop his weapons down, they have no country. Think about it what I meant. Salute Dutchy

I don't think Europe is ARROGANT, but in the most countries are the elections better than what USA did for four years ago. We did laugh about the elections there. It was so unproffessional, it looks like a African or Balkan election. USA, the land of dreams came thru can't make a good voting system. Hopely you have now one voting system what work. And imported, vote if you don't wanna lose your man. Salute Dutchy

Congratulations and have a nice day. I'll take a cold Smirnoff Ice on you tonight. Salute Dutchy

On August 6 is it 59 years ago that the B-29 Enola Gay dropped the atomic bomb. It was the first step for a quick ending of the WW2 in the pacific. Are there still crewmembers in live? I know it about the pilot Paul W. Tibbets. And does it rememberd also in the USA this history fact? Salute Dutchy
-
Mine opinion and meaning is that the bomb (Hiroshima and Nagasaki) cost lives, but the big D-Day was planned for Japan in 1946 (March or May). When that was happend when Japan didn't surrender, more prisoners in camps as Birma railroad and Unit 731 are killed. And what think about the soldiers that had to live on the islands in the pacific? It was also a hell for them to fight there. Salute Dutchy

Good pictures. It is the other side of the war in Vietnam. And those "old" planes, were good. Salute Dutchy

Next weekend is it RIAT Fairford. A big show and static display. More info at http://www.airtattoo.com/airtattoo/showcontent.asp I am going for sunday and monday (the day when the visitors leave). Who is also going to England? After my visit I go on a little vacation. Salute Dutchy

Hello I am back from RIAT Fairford and a vacation. I tell you, Fairford was great. I was their for 2 long days. One show day and a department day. The show day was great with a Super Hornet in the sky. Also Warbirds of ww2 and the Lancaster (the only flying one at the world). By the Red Arrows show my friends and I fell in sleep. We seen them every year one or two times that we can dream the show ;) A B-2 came over with four Eagles. A Eurofighter gives a good show. The second day every plane was going home, we saw everybody leave. Always impressed me how the BUFF can take of and fly. More than the B-52 was the B-1, four engines in thunder. I like that plane. The F-117 did start and came back for landing to start again. The showman. Almost everything what I saw their was not new for me. Only Hawk demo team from Finland and the Super Hornet were new for me. But my conclusion of these days are. Great, loud, sun and fun. And importend, the drinks at the boat from France to Brittian (and back ways) was good :D Salute Dutchy

I don't like it that Lance win the Tour de France six times. It is not good for the sport when one person wins every year. Look to the F1 racing, M. Schumacher wins all the time, the viewers watch no more races on tv. That is also gonna happen to the Tour. I like cycling, on tv or live, but this is not good. And more than that, I like the Ulrich more. Remember Pantani, he was one of my favourites. Salute Dutchy

In April this year died a veteran of WW1. His name was Arthur Halestrap. His age was 104 or 105. Last year November 10 I met him under the Menengate in Ypres (Ieper in Belgium) by the remembrance there. I shaked his hand and thanked him for what he did more than 85 years ago. He was one of the last. "Rest in Peace veteran of the Great War" Now I am searching on internet, who is still living after all those years after the Great War. And I tell you, it is difficult to find that. Salute Dutchy

Some believed it, some believe it not. The crash of an UFO in 1947. After that, is the rumours about Area51 and strange planes growing and growing. The only truth is that Skunk Works made SR-71, U2 and the F-117. Also secret planes. We should never know what happend in 1947 in Roswell, if there were aliens in a UFO or was it a weather balloon. Maybe was it a secret jet. I shall ended with the words of the X-Files: The truth is out there. Salute Dutchy
