  14. Correct! It's in the readme!
  15. That's exactly what you are getting in the training section of Nic Cole's manual plus much more.
  16. Hi everyone, I just purchased Lock On today and was happy to see that a resource file which will enable the viewing of an additional Su-27 training track was installed and with a few steps can be viewed from the Training interface. The track is the Su-27 Close Air Combat and Longitudinal Missile Aiming mode training tutorial. These modes are similar to the F-15C AACQ modes are used for within visual range combat. This file also updates the training tutorial descriptions in the Training interface. To view the track through the Training interface, please do the following: 1. Open the Lock On/Missions/Tracks/Training folder and copy the "TrainingData.txt" file. 2. Open the Lock On/FUI/Resources folder and paste the file overwriting the original. 3. Start Lock On and enter the Training menu. 4. Press the Su-27 button and there you will see four training tutorials with the 4th being CAC/LMA training. That's it! Cheers, Mark
  17. Hi, 1. RWR has 3 modes... 1. show all... all threats. 2. show only lock... only the threats that have locked you up. 3. show only launch.... only the threats that have launched and are guiding a missile your way. 2. These are the bomb release modes... SGL means you will release a single bomb with each pickle. PRS means you will drop a pair of bombs with each pickle. RIP SGL means, after setting a value above 1 in the qauntity window with a ripple interval value 1 bomb will ripple off each station up to the amount you have selected with releases delayed by the interval(in milliseconds). RIP PRS is the same as abaove but 2 bombs will ripple from each station. You can set the quanity to a max of 12 and the interval to a max of 99 milliseconds and only one press of the release key(Spacebar) is needed to release all the bombs you have set. 3. No. 4. Yes but hold the keys down. 5. 2/64.6 is the Nav information... "2" is the current steerpoint and "64.6" is the distance to the steerpoint in nautical miles. The other line is the time on target planned/time difference to the target compared to the planned time... not working correctly in B5. 6. The pitch indication.
  18. Thanks jeff! Unforntunately, I have to re-record most of them due to changes in the code since I made them... :( Cheers
  19. Excellent Preveiw Jeff!! The new models/textures for the US/Russian bombs and Mavericks are incredible... lots of progress has been made post your build. Hopefully you will get a newwer build as the preview continues. Tomcat, About the take off training mission... Here is the text from the training text: "There is a flight of our Famous Su-25 'Sky Hussars' Demonstration Team coming in for a high speed break. Wow!!" It was just a bit to add some immersion before taxiing onto the runway. :) Cheers
  20. Flew first successful IFR with FS9

Ya, it's tough flying it down that low in that poor of weather... the lights on the runway are from the 2 trucks with big spot lights on them lighting it up. The fog was too thick for my landing lights to light up anything until I was about 10 feet off the runway. Lock On is an awesome IFR sim! Cheers
  21. Hi everyone, On behalf of Matt who is very very busy, here is a brief update on the development of the Russian avionics. Note: The screenshots are large in size to keep as much clarity as possible. Su-27 and Mig-29: 1. Recently added are the authentic HUD target designation box and target symbols. The target symbol on the HUD is no longer a solid horizontal bar and is now a series of three small dots. 2. The EKRAN systems monitor is now functioning with systems information and warnings as systems are damaged or lost in the aircraft. 3. There are many more warning and caution lights functional on the annunciator panels then Flanker 2.x and well as a series of new fuel warning lights on the fuel gauges. Su-25: 1. An authentic HUD weapon sighting glass is now fully functional and there is no attitiude, speed, altitude, or navigation information on the Frogfoot HUD anymore. 2. The Su-25 has systems power up, manual altimeter setting, and individual engine start up with real world spool up times and sounds including the possibility of a hung start. A new and unique feature just added is when the canopy is closed it gets quieter in the cockpit and the volumes can be adjusted in the options to give the player the exact sounds they *think* are real. Cheers, Mark ________________________________________________ Known as Stinger in a past Flanker exisitence...
  22. No worries... I thought you might have had it up here earlier. The site is looking real good! Cheers
