What about a real punch? (no movie)
-
If they do Thrawn Movies (computer graphics or different actors?) there are some continuity problems to fix, like adults joining the jedi (C'baoth) or Anakin becoming Vader before The Phantom Menace

First 10min.+20min+Another 20min+last5min = 45 min? Seems like someone here is as good at maths as spanish teenagers at english Sorry, couldn't help it. Now seriously, considering what our governments have done for the last 30 years concerning aducation, is a wonder spanish teenagers can even speak spanish.

Trimming Aircraft in Wings of Prey
shotdown replied to fadiosis's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
Trim tabs only exist in some planes (not all WWII planes had them), and of those that have them, some can only change tab position when the plane is parked (I think Messerschmitt Bf-109 is one of those). I hope this helped. -
Yes, but somehow, I don't think people would enjoy seeing the latest Star Trek Film with the Original Series Look. That's the problem with prequels of stories set in the future.

4.11 patch update
shotdown replied to Dave63's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
I think they should make existing tanks a little realistic before adding new models. -
Because neither side liked sharing the universe, perhaps?

I liked those a lot, but I don't think Tora Tora Tora or Battle of Midway are exactly aviation movies. And of course, Hot shots

IL-2 '46 patching mess
shotdown replied to hrc's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
AFAIK, Dark blue world (not water ) needs UP 3.0 -
I almost agree. I just cannot hate a Star Wars Movie, but i think that "Episode 2 being Better than episode 1" wasn't exactly a big challenge.

How many of you play IL-2?
shotdown replied to RogerSmith's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
I play it from time to time. It's still a good sim, and it works fine without killing my aging computer. -
It must be a mistake. Considering what that report says about Philippine Air Force lack of money, I can't imagine them buying something as big and expensive as a C-5.

IL-2 1946 UP 3 probem
shotdown replied to Ngr's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
BTW Does anyone know what's the maximum resolution using VGA (not HDMI)? I'd like to try Sturmovik on my TV, but I'm not sure it can show more than 1280x1024 using just VGA port -
IL-2 1946 UP 3 probem
shotdown replied to Ngr's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
Do you have the UP3 patches? I think you need RC4 patch for Sturmovik to work with widescreen -
I think I'll be bothering when the original 3 come to theaters. Not for the 3d of course , just for watching them on big screen.
-
My X-52 is 2-3 years old and it works fine. Perhaps I just don´t fly as much as other simmers, I don´t know, but I don´t think it's that bad. And yes, I'd rather have a Warthog or a Cougar, but I just can´t even imagine spending so much money in a HOTAS without rudder pedals (and even with them, I'd think it twice before buying)
-
I agree. Public enemies and heat are almost the same movie set in different times.
-
And what's wrong with silent H? It works very well here (Of course, it could be because we speak spanish instead of english )

New IL2 game
shotdown replied to xclusiv8's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
Looks good, but I'm not buying it until I get a new computer (I don't think the one i have right now is enough for any new sim game), and that will take a while. Anyway, after 4-5 years I'm still scrapping the surface of Sturmovik 1946 (no enough time to spare), so I think I'll wait until I have finished at least 1 campaign. I just hope if this becomes a series of several games, We'll see a 1945 (not 1946) game
