Swedish Air Force Show (Pictures)
B52STRATO replied to JonathanRL's topic in Military and General Aviation
The Viggen, how wonderful. The intensity of his "tongue of fire" is awesome, I will give a lot to see it in live ! Great pictures ! -
39 years ago the Tupolev Tu-144S reg. CCCP-77102 crashed at Goussainville near Paris, during an airshow flight from Le Bourget. So I wish to share with you these pictures taken by my father at the time. They were taken with an old negative camera, so the quality is... digestible. Tu-144S Last turn... Concorde before his rival demonstration The Dassault Mirage G8, a beautiful aircraft who was sacrificed for the benefit of the future 2000. The USAF sent five "Phantom II" to the airshow, still wearing their S.E.A theme. The Red Arrows Folland Gnat, perfect as usual.

It's clearly right, and this as the Mirage 4000 was sacrified for this filth that is the Rafale...

As they seem to please you, here are some others. Fokker F-28 Dassault Mercure prototype Airbus A300, the prototype too

Between us, the AGM-12 remains a "dart" to place at the center of the target... it is also imprecise and difficult to reach the goal in this sim with that in real life. -
The cost may have to do with this choice. The Harrier is asking for a pretty good level of maintenance. And perhaps also because the aircrafts ingaged in the current conflict were based on land, why continue using FRS.2 while GR.9 could do it ? But this is just an idea, I have no source on which to lean.

Hello everyones, I just came across a picture featuring a M-109A6 Paladin from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division firing his 155mm of what appears to be the maximum angle of elevation, which is near the vertical angle. So here is the question: do any of these howitzers would be able, thanks to a PGM to fire her almost to the vertical so that it "falls" precisely on troops or a building located in an extremely close range ? (say as the distance is a residential block, approx)

Ahaha I feel we will have to highlight 2S7 ! It will rain 203mm shells on the battlefield !

I'm, this is a personal opinion, agreed to the holding of a personal weapon at home, which would remain for the "recreational shooting" or our own protection only in the perimeter of his property. In this case it seems to me that this Marine should not incur a fine, he defended his family of a threat that could potentially, or critically, injure one people. I had many neighbor that holds aggressive dogs only who obeyed to their masters, and it often happened that they escape from their enclosures. What is normal in the West Indies, but the problem is that these dogs then shows dangerous for pedestrians at night.

"Hansi" - French? German? Definitely Alsatian!
B52STRATO replied to Olham's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
This region has a very troubled History. One of my English teachers came from Alsace, and his family was marked by several episodes of the XIXth and XXth century: a military family from father to son, exhibited a showcase at home with multiple orders and citations they could receive, at the top , side by side, a Croix de Guerre 39-45 and a Ritterkreuz, obtained by two members who fought into two opposing camps. -
The legendaries V8 will continue to honnor him through the time.

Hole nyte lang, hole nyte, hoooo hole nyte, hole nyte lang...

+1 Agree too, as the two major long-range airliners slap their fingers together, others take the short-range market. I just hope the SSJ will keep all his chances to break into orders.
-
Maybe because unlike the airliners designed outer-Altantic the West continued to be wary of aircraft designed in the states of the former USSR. The SSJ was an opportunity to start a real breakthrough on this space. And that the press tends to seriously affect the demand in terms of what travelers (without real knowledge) think of an aircraft. Airliner shot down, CFIT, hijacking, hard landing, most people do not care whether it's crew, the aircraft or the ground control who is at fault, they only see a crash.

This will cause big problems to Sukhoi... and once again to the Russian civil aviation industry, poorly.

People are free to share their valuable experiences through social networks, like "I'm bored", "I'm hungry now", "I'm HERE, with SOMEONE" ... experiences leading most often by a "I don't care" from us, unwritten but strongly thought.

Ideas on Fictional Desert Storm Scenerios
B52STRATO replied to exhausted's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Hmmm nice one, looks like a Tom Clancy's novel, a kind of Desert Storm with a touch of Red Storm Rising. -
It is true that animals can boast about being unconscious of their actions, unlike these things.
