Interesting story. I have had the pleasure of eating Diamond Back Rattler three times in my life. First time I was a kid, and my cousins killed one when we were camping in the Kings Canyon Forest, near Sequoya in central California. The other two were more recent as I live in the Mojave Desert and every once in awhile one will slither by the house. Darn good eating. I prefer them fried up. I am not sure if it is a fond memory of youth or not, but I recall that the forest snake tasted better than the desert variety.
Bon Appétit!

OK. The re-install is done and it worked. The UI comes up, no problem. But nothing happens after that. No lights in the camera. At the top of the left hand column, it says "No Device Detected" Last time around, I got a small screen that had the three dots and they moved when I did. Everything is still plugged in the same way. Where to from here?
I find that you need to unplug it and plug it back in after a software updated at times. A simple thing to try before removing all your hair by hand..........

Sim HQ is feels like a Hugo to me. It will get you from point A to B. However, I prefer to ride in style and comfort. This site is the Cadillac of boards.

I saw someone mentioning OFF in their forum.
I bet it was one of the gentlemen from this thread.
It just seemed appropriate.

Or go for this one, instead: :)
I've pledge it.
Thanks for posting this; I too have pledged.

So no one here likes ASUS...=p. I personally do not like x-fire or sli. I find them to be a bit dodgy. I prefer one card with allot of memory. Sometimes I think it's a gimmick to get us to buy two cards. Just my opinion though.
Cheers.

I am not running that system; but did you have a specific question? I see a lot of complaints about that board; both in memory problems ( I see it only supports ddr3 1600). People are also complaining about the sata controllers as well. Is it a planed or existing build? You could get a much better Asus board for around the same price.

I think we would be lucky to see it in Christmas stockings this year. I will guess spring of 2013; that is if the world does not end.
Either that or two weeks.
Cheers.

This week I had to stop playing Skyrim. I became a vampire and ignored it thinking so what.
Now every time I go outside every one attacks me.
Since I have recently won some hard dragon battles I do not want to load a previous save to get out of my trouble.
I have managed to get back to my house Breezehome, but I can not go outside. I seem to be spotted even in the night.
Is there some sort of cheat I can use to get rid of vampirism?
I will resort to anything to be rid of it, preferably not become warewolf.
Cheers MarkL
Here is what to do, wait until 2am game time or so; use an invisibility potion, or any other sneak power. there is a shout and also a vampire stealth power available to you. Once stealthy sneak into a house find someone sleeping. sneak up to them as if to pick pocket once you have done so you will see an option to feed, do so. Now you are back to a stage one vampire and are free to walk unmolested amongst the living again. Next go to the tavern ask the bar keep if they have heard any rumors, at this point one of the rumors should tell you about a mage that studies vampires. this will start the quest to cure vampirism. In my case the first bar keep I asked gave me the quest, your results may very.

I wouldn't say Daggerfall was the best. Looking back on it, it was pretty clunky. It wasn't really 3D, it was 2D tricked into approximating 3D in the same what the original Doom did. All the characters were 2D sprites so an infinite number of enemmies could stack up front-to-back in zero depth and really whallop you all at once.
That reminds me of the old "Bards Tales" for the C64. You now face 9999 berserkers, 9999 berserkers, 9999 Berserkers, and 9999 Berserkers. MIBL anyone?

Thanks for the response; got it working, was some fluke. Did a system restart and all is well.

Greetings,
I am having difficulties getting my current sound setup to work with OFF. I am outputting sound through my HDMI cable from my ATI 5870 to an A/V receiver and the only sound I get from OFF is the opening music and that is all. I suppose it is the way CFS3 outputs or detects sound cards that is the problem here. I guess I am looking for a work around. Poking around in the .ini files did not yield anything at first look. I tried to start up CFS3 to see if I could configure it there with no luck, when it started it stated that no sound device was detected and sounds would be turned off. On a side note I do have some older games that are from the same era as CFS3 that work fine.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am glad they did not kill him with a drone or missile....We killed him face to face and he had time to feel fear.

DVI is just as good as HDMI for video.HDMI just ads audio channels. If you had a video card that supported HDMI and you wanted to use the speakers on your TV for instance, would be the only reason to use it.
Cheers.

Thanks Olham, I checked with a Hobby Shop over in Orange Country,California ( U.S.) and they stated a
publisher called Kagero had a Magazine style book about the OEFFAG ALBATROS and to check back with them. Thanks , You always come through Herr Olham Dankeschon
Is that Brookhurst Hobbies by chance? Grew up in that area and they were the best shop for military models. Photo etched brass detail kits and all kinds of great stuff.

Just curious...does anyone know how AA is actually modeled in CSF3. Does CSF3 actually model the travelling AA-shell (an AA gun aims, shoots, then the shell flies with an actual trajectory and travel-time from gun to explosion). Or is it simply an instantaneous 'spawn' of a flak burst randomly generated around a target plane.
If flak is modelled realistically then weaving will help to keep you away from the flak. If flak is just modeled as "instantaneous randomized spawns" then weaving would have no effect, as the 'mosquito cloud' of flak will instantly follow you no matter what maneuvers you try.
Any thoughts?
Well, one thing I know for sure; if it does spawn instantaneously as you say. It does not spawn just around you. I often can find enemy flights by observing friendly AA fire.

Oi! Still have a pair of 18 holes that Ive owned since 84. I'll drink a pint or two in Old Doc's honor.

No offense to the OP; but I am tired of these Off vs RoF threads. These are two flight sim games we are talking about here. Buy them both fly the one you like best or fly them both for whatever reason and move on.
Nuf said.
