Salute, I wanted to download a few maps, but I can't It seems that I need permission or something. So what must I do then ? Mark STOP....I read the warning.....its my download program that was stopping me...alls well now

Salute, I just read this thread. Kopied the exe and renamed it Wov.exe (wings over Vietnam???) and was able to run a mission in Hyperlobby. Didn't know it was that easy. I have returned to the stock planes anyway as I could not except monoplanes outflying stock scouts. Anyway, this is good news. My time zone is Europe, and I too will keep an eye open for possible online play. This Sim is just too pritty to forget it, and with iL2's CK taking forever...and I doubt that the aircraft skins and cockpits in CK will be as good as FE ones.

Salute, from what I have seen in FE you ain't going to learn too much about energy fighting. RB3d modded to current flight models is where to go. I have flown less than 1 week with FE and I can out turn a D7 with a spad and that aint real. energy is zoom and boom. You have to defend your height. If you are above...you dictate, thats as simple as it gets. By that I don't mean just a few meters. Pick your target...drop on him, get your shot in (if you can) and pull up with a slow turn to keep HA in view. But.... every dive costs..that means energy, so every pass must count...or don't do it. Remember..height is everything in a spad or its tits up and lights out (not in FE but else where). If you can master zoom and boom then you can fly anything

Salute, I have found that the standard campaigns that came with the "Gold" download tend to run without any problems as when compared to the add-on ones. This may be due to the aircraft addons themselves. It seems pritty easy to change things in FE, so I was wondering where one has to look and then change...lets say the Cambrai campaign. would like to see more Be2's and not just RE8's would like to fly the AlbD3 maybe even add a few squadrons etc.... if possible then please let me know, danke

Salute, exceprt for aeroplane add ons which I cant get at the moment I downloaded the lot, even modded the flanders terrain....super. Not quite sure about the FM's though seems pritty easy to fly most aircraft, but the difference between them is noticable. Any way of reducing the size of the Maps? seems a little much for 20 odd aircraft in a small area. Other than that its a nice looking Sim.

Salute from the world of RB3d. I just downloaded the Gold Addition of FE...nice. My computer isn't good enough for the newer sims coming out but what the heck. So which downloads should I get for this game? Runs quite well, got a little fps drop in a larger furball but nothing serious.
