A little further from the border, Gütersloh housed three squadrons with a total of 50 Tempest IIs whilst Wahn, on the banks of the Rhine, housed four Mosquito squadrons(4, 14, 98, 107) with 30 aircraft.

  7. Fürstenfeldbruck Airbase is listed in the default SF2E terrain. So you can station B-29s from the 301st Bombardment Group, there.
  8. Others: Dutch Airforce: Spitfire LF.Mk.IX 322 Squadron Twente Air Base Belgian Airforce: de Havilland Mosquito NF30 N° 10 and 11 Squadron Beauvechain Airbase Supermarine Spitfire IX, XIV and XVI Florennes Air Base USAF: In June 1948, USAFE consisted of one tactical fighter group, two troop carrier groups, and a photo-reconnaissance squadron, while reinforcements in the form of one fighter group were expected in a few months. The 86th Fighter Group consisted of seventy-five World War II-vintage Republic F-47 Thunderbolts. The group was well trained, had experienced officers, and boasted a 90 percent operational efficiency rating. The 36th Fighter Group and its seventy-five Lockheed F-80 Shooting Stars, the air force's first operational jet, would arrive from the Caribbean after the Berlin blockade began. The 45th Reconnaissance Squadron was a composite unit of twenty-one Douglas A-26 and FA-26s, North American F-6s (reconnaissance version of the P-51 Mustang), and Boeing B-17s. This unit, too, was experienced and well trained with an 85 percent operational efficiency rating. Additionally, as will be detailed later, the air force had begun rotating Strategic Air Command bombers to Germany, and one squadron of Boeing B-29 "Superfortresses" was in residence at Fiirstenfeldbrook in Bavaria. Beyond USAFE, the Royal Air Force fielded thirty-six light bombers in four squadrons and ninety-six fighters in six squadrons, although reinforcements from England were close at hand.' The French had committed most of their air power to Southeast Asia; however, it is worth noting that the French Air Force would take part in the airlift, flying several Junkers JU-52 "Toucans."

  10. I think the best option is to look at the various airbases for e.g RAF germany to see what aircraft were stationed in 1948 - mostly mosquitoes and tempests: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Air_Force_Germany Then do a seach for USAF bases and see what's listed as well as dutch, french and belgian bases,(mostly spitfires)
  11. Handover patrol, night to morning, 1954 Ahlhorn
  12. Here it is. The main ini is set up with a choice of starting the campaign flying with one of two Vampire squadrons. There are some units based at airbases not in the default targets ini. Especially 3 UK offmapbases, [TargetAreaXXX] Name=RAF Marham Position=94750,662250 ActiveDate=0 Location=13 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=RAF Coningsby Position=115250,732750 ActiveDate=0 Location=13 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=RAF Binbrook Position=101750,702500 ActiveDate=0 Location=13 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE This means, also you have to add Location013=UK to the GERMANYCE_NATIONS.ini There are also soviet, [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Tartu Airbase Position=889000,907000 ActiveDate=0 Location=3 Alignment=ENEMY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Orsha Airbase Position=905000,769000 ActiveDate=0 Location=3 Alignment=ENEMY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Uzyn Airbase Position=918000,358000 ActiveDate=0 Location=3 Alignment=ENEMY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Engels Airbase Position=923000,532000 ActiveDate=0 Location=3 Alignment=ENEMY OffMapAirBase=TRUE one Danish and some dutch/belgian/german added airbases mentioned. [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Beauvechain Airbase Position=135900,462000 Location=9 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Soesterberg Airbase Position=161000,599000 Location=7 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Leeuwarden Airbase Position=190000,700000 Location=7 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Skrydstrup Airbase Position=410000,893469 Location=10 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Volkel Airbase Position=192000,552000 Location=7 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Florennes Airbase Position=130000,410000 Location=9 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE [TargetAreaXXX] Name=Schleswig Airbase Position=430000,816000 Location=1 Alignment=FRIENDLY OffMapAirBase=TRUE As you can see from below, the campaign is focused on North Germany. AirOffensive[001].Primary=LARGE_RUNWAY,MEDIUM_RUNWAY AirOffensive[001].Secondary=WAREHOUSE AirOffensive[001].FocusArea=North Germany If you wish to take advantage of this, add this to your targets ini. [TargetAreaXXX] Name=North Germany Position=609000,710000 Radius=115000 Location=01 Alignment=ENEMY The ground units include Centurion5 as there is no earlier Centurion available, so in the Centurion5 data ini, change the ServiceStartYear=1951, but not to worry the M-41 tank will show up instead, if this is not done. 1951 Campaign.zip
  13. There is one at the a-team website.
  14. It was 30 missions. It was based on the expansion pack 1956 campaign, but set in 1951(Korean war spread to Europe) and using northern germany nato sector units only. So no USAF, WGerman(not reconstituted yet) or French units. RAF: Vampires(4 wings), a squadron of Meteors only for Recon(FR9), 1 squadron of Canberras from offmapbase base RAF Binbrook and 2 squadrons of Washingtons from offmapbases. Holland: Meteors and Thunderjets. Belgium: Meteors and Thunderjets. Denmark: Meteors. I have since learned, that Norway Vampires were regularly based in North Germany(Schleswig) at that time and Norway/Denmark PR Spitfires were regularly used. For Soviet etc units: Mig15, Mig15bis, Yak-23, IL28, Tu-4 from offmapbase and I looked down the list of units in the campaign for 1956 Mig15 units that were tasked with CAS, SEAD etc and changed them to IL10 "Beast" units, that were still to be used for such missions in 1951, if there was a war.
