. This is fantastic! I have them all downloaded and will be making use of them immediately. I can truly appreciate the amount of time that has gone into this project as I have done something similar to three small sections of rabu's map on my own while flying DID missions. It is quite tedious to note and place all those OFF dromes where they actually are on a "paper" map. From what I've seen in my travels over the years through the southeastern states I'd say you folks have been doing a better job of preserving some of your old buildings and homes than in other areas of the country. And, I didn't say we hadn't been doing it at all in the US, only that we haven't done a very good job of it until just recently. And since you brought it up, I voted for both of them as well. .

. Flyby, even at the worst most European countries are far more concerned about their historic buildings than we are in the US. We're just starting to wake up in this country about the worth of our old, historic structures, but we still have a very long way to go. I much prefer old to new myself, and in fact live in the second oldest house in town. Built in 1887 it is not old by European standards but is down right ancient here in the midwestern United States. It is a wonderful old farm house that I take great pleasure and pride in maintaining, despite having heard often over the years that I'd be better of remodeling with a match and 5 gallons of gas. And to broach yet another unfortunate situation, we seem to value our elderly population even less than we do our old buildings. A sad state of affairs. .

. Good Morning All and Happy New Year, I am finishing up a set of skins to drop in for the Belgium 9eme Escadrille de Chasse that will swap with the current 4 RNAS Camel skins. It will be a simple pair of folders with one containing the new skins and other the originals so that you can easily swap them if you would like to fly with the Belgian Air Service starting in June of 1917. Here is a shot of the new flight, (sans a couple of ace skins I am wrapping up): I chose 4 RNAS as it was stationed very close to where the 9eme actually was and therefore gets you very near the real action that group encountered. Why I had a full 2 1/2 minutes of free time myself this morning and was able to paint an entire Italian squadron's worth of planes, redo the in-game maps, build the forts at Verdun, AND install new memory sticks in my computers.
