OT: Greetings From North Dakota
Rickitycrate replied to RAF_Louvert's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Lou, don't stop! Keep 'er rollin'. Are you lost? Turn around, Minnesota is a little better. You don't look too good in that picture. Have you lost your mind? -
I was just watching the Red Bull World Cup Air Races on tv. The wind was playing havoc with with the control of the planes and most of the pilots either did not complete the course our were penalized for clipping the pylons. Seeing this with these modern high powered machines helped me to appreciate the difficulty of bringing our guns to bear in OFF on windy days.

There are many interesting aspects of the naval air war and aircraft that would be great to have at some point. -

There is also the Bleriot SPAD XVIII 2 seater from 1917, but I'm not finding a decent pic to link to. It was a standard tractor biplane configuration with the observer behind the pilot. This is the one the Billy Mitchell got around in. -

Hi Luther1517, welcome aboard. We do have a fine group here, I'll agree with that. Being an old hand with CFS3 will help although you will see many improvements over the original sim. Here's to the New Year and our new members

This thread is a fun read. It sounds like we are all looking forward to "what's next". That's good. I hope the sales of the HITR add-on were good and the devs. are indeed encouraged to create some more planes for P3. Some kind of work is underway for P4 it seems. Not knowing what engine is being used for P4 I don't know what can be carried over from P3. If it is a new engine I do not know how much of P3 can be carried over, ported, transferred or whatever the technical term is. Does a new engine mean starting from scratch? Or will add-ons for P3 also be a further developement of P4? Team OBD has not done me wrong. I am not privvy to what is going on back at the "office". I find I do not worry, what with the track record of team OBD. I hope they don't mind our fun bit of speculation. -

If it's a Christmas Fee I'm sure can trim it. Some balls and lights, maybe an angel on your Lewis. -

I landed, pulled up real close to a hangar, there I sat looking around, took a few pictures, waited, looking around, thought what the hell and squeezed the trigger, ratatatat. Okay I'll make for home, although I could have ended it right there. Flew home uneventfully. Now before this I recall trying to unjam them by pressing keys. I did not know if I had a jam or was out. I was firing off the ammo pretty good. It was a strange flight. I don't know what happened to the engine either. None of it bothers me, seems like real life shiznit. Calls for a beer
