Volunteers needed for DiD campaign.
Rickitycrate replied to Siggi's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Ja wohl mein Kommondant! (clicks heels and goes back to his cave) I have flown the DFW some but not in camPaign. Mostly to examine the Observer role. I am afraid I am no helP in choosing a Jasta at this time. I will review the Jastas and rePort back. -
Unless you bought FraPs you will find that your free fraPs vids are limited to 30 seconds. Good Luck!
-
Isn't FraPs great? A tiP maybe tho. Pause for your screenies by hitting P on the keyboard. Maybe remove the Tac for the Pic shot. Also if you want you can zoom-in and out with [ and ]. I try to take the Pic when the flashing Pause sign is off. Sorry to sound critical or be the PomPus ass. The more you use fraPs and the view features within OFF the more fun you will have. Using fraPs is like a hobby within a sim for me. Best wishes, Jim

Oh PaPPy it is Possible to simulate that ass vibration. An old rag I've chewed on in the Past is the Video game X Rocker chair. There is also something known as the Butt Kicker that is reviewed here at Combat Ace. There are a number of Products in the U.K.. I did a search for X Rocker Britain and found a lot of relevant links. Have a search. I swear by mine. All that's missing are the G's. -

I'm in. I'll go along with what's decided and try to follow orders. I think this would be paricularly nice with the unique skin fix and maybe some new crates. If we only knew the release details the information would help in making some decisions. Good idea regardless. -

I don't want to say much more about my birds as it's OT, but they are fascinating. -
Question to our German Friends
Rickitycrate replied to UK_Widowmaker's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I was a good German language student all those years ago, 40. Problem is not having the opportunity to keep it sharp by using it over the years. I worked with some Vietnamese for a few years. I taught them some English and I learned a little of their lingo. During my time in Hawaii I make an effort to learn Hawaiian and use it with respect. I spent 3 weeks in Italy and there was next to no English signage at any of the exhibits so it was necessary to try to understand Italian to have some idea of what you were looking at. I find that I am drawn to languages and given exposure I tend to be drawn into learning what I can. I have an African Gray Parrot that is a very well spoken bird. Amazing vocabulary. He will learn anyting I make an effort to teach him. His name is Angel and he can say the whole Hail Mary prayer. When my mother-in-law drops something in the kitchen he says "oh s**t". -
Hi Pappy, yeah, get the old man hooked. It might be good for him, hehe. I know what you mean about too many sims/games. OFF is number one in my hit parade tho. Have fun.

I reread your post and see you did this. I do believe that when you do this it is also the default OFF panel and should reflect that in you OFF performance. Remember to tick the "add" box near the cfs3.exe box

Siggi, right click on desktop click on Nvidia click manage 3D Settings cliclk program settings select a program, will dropdown a list find cfs3exe. enter your settings and then tick the add box I hope this is what you meant.

Observations on Observing
Rickitycrate replied to Bullethead's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
For those interested in this thread I have done a little more reresearch into the Observer question. While observing from a DFW we encountered Spad VII's. I targeted them for view for identification. I became a little anxious as I waited to see if they would attack. Eventually they attacked. They dropped straight down through our flight and shot us up quickly before taking position behind us. Concerning air to air combat, some had stated no combat, the Spad VII was able to persue the DFW at this altitude, unknown sorry. The rearmost DFW took hits, started smoking and dropped out of the flight, fate unknown. My plane was also brought down a bit later. At the end of another flight I made this observation. Descending to land. Flight lined up approaching field for landing. My plane is in the middle. First plane touches down and comes to a quick stop with us right on his tail. The third plane follows suit and crashed into our crate. End of story. In summary: there may be air combat if the planes and conditions match up correctly. The A/I pilotsare very unreliable upon landing as most of us already know. OFF BH&H for all it's virtues is at the heart an historical Pilot simulation. The Observer aspects are of course secondary and indeed fun and very playable. At this time the A/I pilot is perhaps too unskilled for a proper Observer campaign. For now I will enjoy observing from time to time. Maybe as a low priority, way into the future the feasability of an observer campaign might be worked out. Pure conjecture of course but we have our wishlists. Thanks for reading. -
OT: How Do You Feel About Collecting Old War Medals?
Rickitycrate replied to RAF_Louvert's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
One further point, sharing. Sharing the medal/medals/collection of memorabilia in any way helps to validate the keeping of such items. Sharing the items to the interested world these days on the WWW like MK2 and others have done is a special calling of sorts and a service IMHO. Thank you! -

OT: How Do You Feel About Collecting Old War Medals?
Rickitycrate replied to RAF_Louvert's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I have thought about this topic myself. I hold your position Lou. I find your position to be very well stated and I have little to add. To me it's about intent and respect. Let them not be forgotten, let their medals not end up in the bin. -
Have you been spammed by neoqb to buy new planes?
Rickitycrate replied to PinkPanther's topic in General Discussions
Maybe if they broadened their staff? Had at least one english speaking game playing member that could/would read the various forums that are trying to point out areas that need to be addressed and understood what is being said. With these emails/polls they seem to be oblivious while even non-users know what users would like to see changed/improved. I mean no offense but I wonder if the heart of the problem stems from the days of the U.S.S.R.. Perhaps there is a disconnect of what they have made and made well and the expectations of an open consumer market. I have no doubt the staff at NeoQb can speak english better than I russian, I'm just trying to understand the disconnect. -
