  1. Website P4 Screenshots updated

I just had to have me another look-see at the latest pics. Seems to me it serves as our P4 Pronsite. We will know release is near when Pol posts actually gameplay movies. Keep them coming Pol!

Is that the "tickle" pose? Flying Ace is an off brand of brew. Many of the brews have their origins in southern Australia. One brown ale was all England but for the water. Thanks for inclusion in our Barmy rag.
  3. OT Lovely way to spend an evening

Widow, I won't tell you what the DNR, department of natural resources, does to carp in my state. I know you would have a proper crying jag over it. Myself, I have a carp pond in my yard. Some of the brutes are large now as I have had some of them nearly 20 years. They get my loving care. When I was in my prime I had it said I looked like Errol Flynn. Last time anybody bothered to look at me they said I looked like Fraiser Crane. Kelsey Grammer indeed... that was years ago.. well the Lord will still have me... right? I do think Olham meant to say Jimmy Stewart?

    Bravo! Love it!
  5. OT Lovely way to spend an evening

We have carp here in the U.S.ofA. thanks to the early immigrant Germans wanting them for their tables. I'm not sure what it was they used for chairs, hmmm...
  6. Website P4 Screenshots updated

Winder, you please us when you tease us. Thanks for any bits and bobs of info. Anticipation is nearly through the roof I dare say.
  7. Yep, I'ld say it was history in the making. Good show.
  8. Website P4 Screenshots updated

What can I say? Awesome, just awesome. Seems almost everything is new and improved. The additional crates excite me. I love the graphic look. The details amaze, ie. the cloth fabric of the Parasol office. My imagination is full of the things that you are unable to inform us about at this time. It was a blast to see all the pics posted. I would like to OFFer my thanks and encouragement to the whole OBD team. Some Gotha pics would be appreciated. Widowmaker should be satiated with his Snipe by now, hehe..
  9. I haven't played campaign for a while

Since I've become gainfully employed I fly much less. Wife is never a problem. I do though consider the things I need to be doing in my free time so as to have a somewhat clear consience. I am inspired to attain a better desktop computer for my OFFing. I just bought an HDTV 42" and have set it up as a monitor to my laptop. My first foray into a larger OFF experience is near at hand and I imagine I shall flying about in HD, surround-sound glory for some time. I just need to perform some maitenance on my laptop for the meantime. Also I acquired a PS3 and that has been getting most of my gaming attention lately. P4 will get all my attention upon it's release. By the way, Hello, Widowmaker! You old scoundrel of the skies... with a bit of panache...
  10. My 4000th Post!

4000th post for Lou and none of them wasted. You are an officer and a gentlman in my book sir. Thanks for you contributions to the forum and making the the ebooks so readily available. Many happy landings to you!
  11. I love what OBD is doing for our WWI experience. I count myself as very fortunate that such dedication is shared with what is sadly too few people. Much respect and kudos to all the developers/skinners and artists of all ilks involved. The upcoming release will wow us surely. I bare in mind that not only are historical objects represented in wonderful imagery but they are also relevant in context/campaign. OBD does not create a new plane for example and say "here you go, lads". No, it all ties together like no other WWI flight sim I've ever seen. Did I say fortunate? Dare I say blessed? I await the release or the chance to preorder. I remain, as always, a fan of OFF and this forum. Rickitycrate
  12. P4 DEVELOPMENT SCREENSHOTS Discussion

Love that Rumpler model and the skins! Thanks Winder and Makai. You guys ROCK!
  13. Observer kills in two-seater career?

This is one of the things I have indicated amongst our "wishlists" for P4 developement. A proper Observer career. So much of the potential is there for this to happen. I know it would mean a lot of programming/work/time. But what other sim/WWI has ever offered an Observer carreer? By the way I have most often used a gamepad during Observation. It more closely mimics the hand positions and operations of the gun than a flightstick does of course. I find Observing to be fun. Not as glamourous as a pilot perhaps but as a window into what it may have been like for the real men of the time I find it almost informative and definately interesting.
  14. P4 DEVELOPMENT SCREENSHOTS Discussion

Thank you Pol and OBD the new girl is looking in fine shape thus far. The pics are wonderful and clearly a progression of talent and effort can be seen. I look forward with anticipation.
  15. VP, you are right. Jade Empire was BioWare. As for a gaming PC I will be working toward that as well. My problem is I am not tech savvy and PC's are forever changing. I wonder what we will need to properly run P4.
  16. Sick and Tired

I hope you are better soon CaptS. It's no fun being miserable. Know that we care and hope and pray for a speedy recovery. Keep up the good fight sir.
  17. I am a fan of Bethesda games. Loved Morrowind, Oblivion and Jade Empire. I am in hopes of getting a PS3 before long so as to play the Fallout games, Skyrim and replay Oblivion.
  18. Scramble!?

I love the unpredictability of OFF. But yes historical accuracy is formost in campaign.
  19. How Did You Find OFF?

No wonder you are such a smiling monkey. I can relate. Welcome aboard sir!
  20. When it Rains Old WWI Books, it Pours

Hey, cool beans Lou! I saved the image and will print my card soon. When I show up at the library door I'll have plenty of liquid in tow.
  21. OT- So there is justice in this world.

Somehow I don't think he learned anything for his trouble.
  22. When it Rains Old WWI Books, it Pours

I took a second look at the card and now I notice the Lou emblem. How do whip out such clever things so fast?
  23. When it Rains Old WWI Books, it Pours

Holy Schnikees! It's official. You are such a good guy Lou that I can't begrudge your library. Envy? For sure. Thanks again for posting the Ebooks library for us.
  24. One Year To Go...

Happy birthday !!! Life begins anew after the release of P4.
  25. Pawgy, I'm glad you are back to OFF world. Enjoy yourself and the OFF forums. Jim
