  1. Rats!

Turns out I fly much the same way as you Siggi. Trackir is sure going to be huge improvement for my situational awareness. I only wish trackir could help with that dang ack ack that seems to find my crate so often.
  2. Hard-up for TiR?

I agree Camel jockey. For example I just sent a forum member a nice book that I had 2 copies of and was happy to do it knowing it would be read and appreciated. I also have a Sidewinder Force Feedback joystick maybe someone could use?
  3. Welcome back to the squad mate! Yes, have good poke about the place. You will find we are much better OFF for the change.
  4. Alright then, I look forward to this, thanks Gousie
  5. I fly Did exclusively. I take the missions as they come and try obey the commands. Discretion enters into any situation. I do not think it necessary to delineate types of mission or completions. At least for now as I do not know of any body being overly successful in their DiD campaigns at this time. Whatever we are doing now is hard enough and if we get a break or 2 in our favour regarding mission types so be it. Just my thoughts if I understand your post correctly british eh. Cheers!
  6. Todt, that pic is some unpleasnat business. I think I would have to jump in that situation. Too hot for me.
  7. Hard-up for TiR?

Oh you guys, what can i possibly say... thanks so much for looking out for me. I can hardly believe it though. I loook forward to a much improved experience in OFF. I'm speechless really... so many thanks...what a great forum
  8. No you're not God but you are good and brilliant, now if I only had some decent photo's of myself and half a brain why I could....
  9. Ya bunch of foa uk offer's even if you did tape it for us yanks you got the wrong kind of vcr's over there, dang.
  10. See ya soon

Happy for you godzilla. You're in for a heck of a battle but a damn good time. Cheers!
  11. Thanks Olham, nice to know you are laughing all the way over there. I am having fun too.
  12. CW3SF, I enjoyed your thread opener. Unlike yourself I have not personally known many actual pilots let alone ones that have served their country in battle. I truly honor them myself. For example I have great admiration for nearly all aspects of Capt. Rickenbacker's life. I want to fly with him in OFF and will at some point. Right now my skills are inadequate to honor anybodies memory. They deserve better representation than I can give. I don't want to see my heroes being shot down constantly. For all I know there are all kinds of vets on this forum, if so, my deepest respect and thanks go to those who have served. Cheers!
  13. I like the look Gous, just wondering is historical? Doesn't matter, just wondered. I'ld like to be able to skin like that. I have a sqaud full of ideas.
  14. Which was the best tv / movie

Yank here with too many posts for some. I am not familiar with either of those series. Is Wings during WWI? Is it worth having? If you can recommend it I might see if it is available for US market.
  15. auf Deutsch Ich bin Kiste Rachitisch In British Service my flyer is Ritchie Teacrate both are take offs of my nik In US Service I am James Handy
  16. Will everyone in your group able to see each others markings then? That would be so cool.
  17. Hee hee...

Very cool I'ld say. We sure are getting spoiled rotten here. Thanks Combat Ace team.
  18. Hunter's and collector's fever

I suffer the same problem. Then when I am very seriously picking my battles and situations something happens like archie taking me out. That happens a lot. And I get bloodlust. I feel I must clear the skies of enemies. As if I will single handed win the war. I am growing in my resolve though. Flying DiD and wanting to have a good result to post on the Killboard. Must stay alive first kills are secondary. Check your 6!
  19. Very cool SJ. I like the kill crosses on your bird too.
  20. Who knows why ?

    Yeah, what Rooster said
  21. Two doubts

Stratos and steve58, welcome to our little group here. When you get your disk play your game your way. You will find many options and a lot of freedom to suit your taste. This forum can be a tremendous help to you and give you many ideas. For now it would be good to read the tips and cheats sticky. I started at the beginning and I'm still there having a blast.
  22. tttiger, what a great idea, I printed this post to act as an idea guide for something for me to get aound to sometime. I can see that a hospital stay could really impact your chances. I'll try Rickenbacker perhaps as he had a hospital stay himself. Thanks for sharing your approach.
  23. OFF P3 Current status

Winder, I don't know that it is a matter of not liking the claims system but rather just trying to come to terms with what to include in the report. There has now been a lot of good information shared and I found that it works to give a lot of details. For those that are not inclined to make that kind of report as you have said to select your personal prefernce in workshop. As always thanks for your hard work and consideration of our comments.
  24. #3 is selectable in workshop. Easy, automatic.
  25. What did we learn today?

Enjoy it Todt I know you will, best wishes up there.
