Thanks Scouse, yep, I tried the lowest rez sttings for the first time and I was amazed at the loss of detail compared to the middle setting. So then I tried the Hi-Rez and saw so much nice detail. You might not see bullit holes in Hi-rez with OFF-P3 but damage still happens and the crates are superb. -

Okay, I've given you guys a break long enough. I'm back with some pics. I took up Cap'n Rick's crate while he is recuperating from that ear infection to get some pics for my next homebrew beer label. If anyone wants to submit a pick of Cap'n Rick's bird in action I'll consider it for my next label. Some of these below are not to be considered of course but I get a twitchy camera finger. I'm thinking of calling the beer "Cap'n Rick's Furball". Thanks to all you guys that post your screenies for us to see they've been great! -

Erik, thanks for everything you and the rest of the staff do. You spoil us really. Most of us do not know the amount of work that goes into an endeavor such as this site. All I know is that it's been a great home for us OFFer's and saying thanks is not enough. I wish you all the best Jim -
OT: violence in video games
Rickitycrate replied to Hellshade's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Hey Hellshade, thanks for posting this thread. I love me some OBLIVION. I have been interested in the downloads and now I have your input as a point of reference. Hey UK Widowmaker, I picked up a copy of Dark Messiah recently, because of it's apparrent similarities to OBLIVION. I am glad to hear you think well of it. I have not given it a try. Hey Parky, I'm sorry about that limp you seem to have developed. -

Saw the bad call in the Detroit game. After a little while I felt bad for Jim Joyce too as he knew he blew it and there was nothing to be done about it. Good thing the last out came fast or it might have gotten ugly. Being a Twins fan I saw last nights game, first for Seattle after JR's retirement. All spoke well of JR of course. Thing is that game ended with a bad call at 2nd base in the 12th. Not a good night for umpires. As we have seen with the Twins and Tigers every game counts. Here's to baseball and the fans

To get a good idea of how the AI fighters attack the 2-seaters with rear firing gun is to go up in a 2-seater as an observer and watch the tactics of the AI fighters. Your pilot will not evade and your fellow observers will fire their guns conservatively. The attackers will perhaps make an initial dive attack but they then lose the advantage and fall in behind your flight. They pursue trying to gain the proper angle for attack or any advantage but when one gets close enough to fire at a 2-seater he is also close enough to be fired upon. With maybe 2 observers giving him some lead. -

Hey remember last time he was gone we took over his flat and had a party? Even repainted his beloved Alb in pink. That was fun and he took it well. I bet his rug still smells of beer though. -
I would like to see the Observer aspects fleshed out a bit more. This would involve better pilot AI especially for landing. The stats for hitrate of the observers gun would be nice as well. So much of the observer sim is in there already but it would be swell to have an observer career and at some point be offered a pilots seat. Observing's an experience I find enjoyable. It would be particularly nice with the inclusion of heavey bombers. Seems this feature would really set P4 apart from any other. I think for eye candy it would be so cool to have airfield crewmen. I see an occasional soldier or machine gun crew but no mechanics other than the guy taking a wizz in the corner.

'Tis nothing Rabu. Just a happy marriage of 2 of my loves. As for tasting I've been trying a wide variety of beers to broaden my experience and develope a better basis for judging my homebrew. All this while doing well on my new job. -

Maybe not as serious an Offer SJ but I'm a believer. Some of my homebrew beer lables. As you can see I've been a busy little brewer, haha.
