Yea, games are pretty much spontaneous. I suggest to just watch the Multiplayer forum here. That's where I post games because I can't plan days ahead I can only give a day or two notice. I also just jump on TS in the evenings around 7:30 est just to see what's going on or to get into a pick-up game.

In my opinion Duck you should build what you want and what you think is fun. If you like short missions with lots of stuff to shoot up like I do then by all means build it and host it. If you like long patrol missions with a specified goal, same thing, build it and host it! If you start taking orders for specific tastes in missions that would take the fun out of using mission builder. If you are worried that people aren't flying on weekdays because they don't like the types of missions we are flying I don't think that's the problem. There is just to much RL out here getting in the way! That's my two pesos!

Sunday afternoon is considered a campaign league game run by Vasco. There are prizes given to the winners of each campaign. Each campaign will last a couple of months. We try to run the campaign as close to RL as we can. Points are awarded according to rules set down by Vasco. In order to receive points for a kill they must be confirmed. The kill must be observed by another pilot. As far as recreational flying with me or anyone else, kills are confirmed by the game in the stats window. You see the stats window when you exit out of a game. You can check your kills, ammo expended and what you destroyed. I do suggest if you want to fly with MP guys you need to get a Mic/headset. It's so much easier and less distracting.

It was all based on controlled chaos Duck. I decided to try it - it worked - no real plan. Will it work again? I hope so. I based my decision on the strengths and weakness of the DV. If you fly a different bird you may have to try different tactics.

If you watched the film Vasco put up you can hear me an Stumper using the tactic I mentioned. At the end of the film you can watch Vasco and I tear up an Se5a by blowing off its top wing using the same maneuver.

He probably wants to give you some friendly advice on which plane to practice with when flying MP. He might also be interested in creating a custom skin for you when you make Ace.

I tried a new tactic last Sunday I stayed up high and watched to see when a brit would get focused on someone. Then I would swoop in and take him when he was busy. This would give the guy he was after a chance to break off and come in behind him along with me. Now we had two planes shooting at one. This worked great when I tried it with Stumper and Vasco. I also tried to fly around the perimeter of the dogfight not in the thick of it. This helped 2 ways. It kept them off my 6 and I could pick off stragglers.

Your frame rate issues are normally caused by internet problems or your graphics set to high for your computer to run. The bouncing aircraft seems to be an inherent in-game problem unfortunately. BUT, with the latest patches alot of people have had the problem disappear completely or almost completely. It seems to pop up when planes in great number are flying close together but smooths itself out for most people after a couple of seconds. It's not near as bad as it was. As far as spawning into a strange looking plane this is what has happened. There are no more player aircraft with cockpits available to fly so the game puts you into an aircraft that is an AI plane without a cockpit. You can still fly it in external or gunsight view. Also if there are no aircraft left in your flight you will spawn in another flight that might be in another location on the map. When that happens you can look on the map to get an idea of where you ended up and fly catch-up or do what i do, Fly around and look for targets of opportunity and have some fun! You've already been shot down so your kills or death won't count anymore anyhow. No, your gripes are quite common. It's a mystery why some people can have the game run flawlessly while others can't. All we can do is address each issue best we can and hope we can solve them. Here are some of my suggestions. 1. Test your internet speed with an app that you can download online. (maybe someone can suggest a link) 2. Re-install OFF but don't reside it in your Program folder 3. Try different settings in your graphics settings. Maybe run on 3 or 4 and not 5. Clouds are pretty much the same at 2 and 5. 4. Take CFS3 WW2 of your computer. Unless you fly it, you don't need it to run OFF. 5. Post your computer specs so our PC gurus can see if there is something you can fix or change. Post your PC problems in the General Help forum. You may get more suggestions there. I hope you get fixed soon Simon!

Sunday was a fantastic team effort by everyone! Fantastic use of wingmen and tactics from what I saw. Aside from Von Baurs internet problems I thought the session went smooth! Beers all around!
