I think if you try and reference it in another manner, you will see its not that far off... picture yourself in a car on the highway going 80mph,,(bout the speed of the plane)...you see a cute hitchhiker up ahead,,,and as you pass by her (thinking dirty thoughts no doubt) you take the time to check her out. But,,even as she gets very close,,you still have the time to look, and make observations...she doesnt go zinging by you... now replace her with a puff of flack...and although it may not be totally accurate,,,in my opinion,,its pretty close.. or to put it another way without the comedy,,next time your driving fast ,,take an object in front of you and off to the side about 100 ft, and pretend its aflak burst,,and watch how fast it passes by you...and compare it to what you see in the game

I have ati tray tools...and did install drivers only, (no ccc), and tray tools. but was dissapointed with results. However, im pretty sure this is when i was making all the settings in cfs3config. will look at that hotfix and the beta thou.. and,,have set max fps to 30 in both online and offline,,and removed ALL fps counters from my screen lol

yeah..lets throw some stutters in and go bomb that bridge...

ccc settings did not signigicantly lower my fps...i've got them all at quality settings but ALL the recomended settings in cfs3config, with the exception of dual pass render,,,dropped my fps consideralbly and one thing i did notice,,,was that in some cases, i had to restart in order for cfs3config setting changes to take effect..

e8500@3.16 xp64 8gig ram ati4780 did find out today from flying mp, that if im low,,the fps hit with lables is significant,,but if im high,,8000 or so,,its only about a 10% drop

Was getting tired of getting much lower fps than everyone else, and even thou the game play great, decided to give it another go.. Did the clean install again of drivers, and started adjusting settings one by one,,and then play the game to see the results...even took notes this time. Keep in mind, i cant discount the fact i may have a sour video card, so this might only apply to me. found 5 4 3 5 5 worked best for sliders, and without a doubt, the best fps with no visual change in game performance was just unselecting dual pass render, and leaving all the other setting stock... checking the buffers, or messing with the texture info drops fps dramatically. Ive got almost everything turned up in ccc,,, I start at 48-52 fps on ground, and holds steady a 60 skimming over a forest.. unreal part is that if i kick in lables...fps drops down to 30...(which is why i suspect my card)

first thing you have to do is compress the file to zip or rar....the attathments rejects most other types of files. when you go to make a reply, there is "attachments" section, bottom left of the area where you are typing,,,and a browse button...browse to the zip fil file, and hit attach this file. when its finished uploading. on the right, there is an "add top post', click on that... just make sure you know where your cursor is in the post,,cause thats where the attchment link will end up... alert_base.rar

730ish edt is good for me. the only thing i have to watch out for is somebody i told i would help them portfoward thier router for that "other" game..

ok,,now i got it.... you can make a shortcut from the install shortcut for mb that works.... but you cant make a shortcut on the desktop from the mb.exe in your directory... when i think of the time ive wasted, and i coulda had a shortcut...

wth???? that never used to work..(the shortcut....),,,,and your right,,now it does... wonder why.......

Forget who this is for..... when you get mismatchs, or other error messages,,you cant read what its saying cause the print is black on a dark bmp file. go to obd>cfsww1 over flanders fields>uries>alert and make a copy of the alert_base.bmp. Then take and open up the original in paint, and fill the entire thing with a color of your liking,,the lighter the better. Save the file. now you will be able to read what it says. this is the same bmp that is use for "do you want to exit" and others, so if you dont like the light fill over the old pic,,just delete, and rename the copy
