  1. My wife said "You couldn't skin a cat!"

A comedian I like told a story about giving dogs pills, I dont remember exactly how it went but it was something like this: "My old dog has arthritis so I took him to the vets and they said to give him some pills. So I tried giving him the pills, he wasnt gonna eat it right out my hand, so I made a ball of hamburger and put stuffed the pill inside. He wolfed the hamburger right down, but five seconds later the pill flew right out! We went through this a couple of times and that pill kept a flyin right out. I called my vet to see what they said I should do. The vet said, "Well, your gonna have to give him a suppository." You ever try to get a ball of hamburger in a dog's a**?" -Rooster
  2. Great piece of writing Olham! It was like a really good book, where you get to the end and wish there were more. -Rooster
  3. WW1 Replica Prop

Above the bar eh? Sounds like the perfect place for it. So now all I have to do is get a bar! -Rooster
  4. OT Your top 3 aircraft of all time?

    1. Fokker Dr.1, wanted to pick something different but couldn't, its just my favorite. 2. F4U Corsair, thats Robert Conrad's and the "Black Sheep Squadron" TV show's fault. 3. 1929 New Standard D-25, first plane I ever flew in. -Rooster
  5. First time i've seen this

  6. One of the Joys of Multiplayer

Hey SD, you, Stumper and I did some pretty nice formation flying in the Dr.Is that one time. Yep, it is very hard to keep a close formation with real live people. At least thats what I gathered from my small experience of formation flying in mp. -Rooster
  7. early war suggestions for Phase 4

Sorry Waldemar, I just took a stab at it beacuse you didn't mention exactly which plane. If the devs do decide to make more planes, it doesnt matter to me which ones they do. Of course I have my favorites that I'd like to see, but I'd gratefully take what they offer. And now I'm even more appreciative of what they've done. I tried making a model with Gmax. . I got something that almost looked like a fuselage. Took about 2 hours too. Then I got really frustrated and said, "****- this! This is waaaay too hard for me!" The things those guys can do...... -Rooster

  12. Getting my feet wet

Can't wait to see what you come up with Rickity! Yep, skinning is very addictive and everytime you learn something new from your last skin. I use Paint.net also and its a very good program. Oh, and Stumpjumpers aircraft are skinable, just open up the DDS file the same way you would with other OFF skins. Have fun, -Rooster
  13. Just for a laugh I did a quick skin based on a Rapala fishing lure. I've actually wanted to do this for awhile "just to see" and since we've been talking about fishing in the general discussion thread it gave me a little kick of ambition. If anybody actually wants it, which i doubt, lol, I can post it for download. -Rooster
  14. What a p*sser

Im sure we do Bullethead, but I've never seen one that big in person. The biggest Northern Pike I've ever caught was 37 inches. But the record for New York is 46 pounds (I dont know how long though). Thanks Widowmaker. I'm never showing pictures of fish I catch again. -Rooster
  15. Any info on this?

I found a little bit about it Widowmaker. In Greg VanWyngarden's Pfalz Scout Aces of World War I it says that the pilot was unknown. It was striped in Saxon green and the factory Pfalz white/grey. The fin and rudder were white and the the wings were lozenge. Of course this probably doesnt help at all because thats what your picture shows -Rooster
  16. I dont foresee any problems coming about, since were all nice guys here anyway, but I agree. It's a good idea "just in case". -Rooster
  17. Haha. Ok guys its up and should be ready for download. -Rooster

  19. What a p*sser

Thanks Bullethead, I'll have to check that show out. 6 foot fish! Geez, my poor little old 6 pound bass seems inadequate now -Rooster
  20. What a p*sser

WOW! Theres alot of fish in that river! -Rooster
  21. Well I know you can do Immelmann's Immelmann turn very easily in an E.III. I use it all the time. Immelmann turn from 1918 aviators handbook- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:WW1Immelmann.jpg -Rooster
  22. What a p*sser

Oh man, all this talk has me itchin for some fishin. I'm with you Rickity, I mostly fish for small and largemouth bass, lake trout, and northern pike. I got skunked with pike and lake trout last year but I managed to catch some pretty good sized bass, for around here anyway. Here's my best catch of last summer. Bigfish: That really is a big fish! I dont know how big carp usually get but that thing is monsterous! -Rooster
  23. Se5 skins

No smoking!? Bummer. Excellent skin fubar. Very detailed. -Rooster
  24. I decided that I'd try doing a skin for Stumjumper's Taube. Just reworking it a little and adding some details and weathering. I hope Stumper doesnt mind! His Gmax model is great and I had alot of fun doing this one. I wish I could post an in-game shot, but I cant figure out how to get the model to work in OFF and all that. -Rooster
  25. You got it Stumper. I'll send it via email. It's got some things wrong with it that were my mistake, like the ribbing not being accurate as to what a Taube should have. But, I think its pretty good. -Rooster
