Maybe add the channel naval activity to the English home defense with Zeppelin & Gotha raids More than an Add-On, that'd be a whole new Phase -
I downloaded it to my laptop then burned it and the patch to a CD Installed on the gamer from there

And my wingmen also need a kick up the arse
Duce Lewis replied to JimAttrill's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Jim are you using TrackIR? It's a must for situational awareness I used to get hit by the lunkheads too ...usually when hot on the tail of an adversary I finally learned to just pull off & let them have him -

My Contribution to Belgium
Duce Lewis replied to UK_Widowmaker's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Probably right Many European insignia are simple stripes or patterns, ie. French Tricololor In a smoky battlefield anything complex would be tough to distinguish This probably led to duplication or similar patterns -
I remember reading somewhere that the Gnome's problems were due to brass tubes that cracked and leaked Would be scary fun if our rotaries would burst in spinning fireballs in OFF Wikipedia has a nice write-up on the Gnome Monosoupape Fairly uncoventional single valve design but it saved precious weight I presume http://en.wikipedia....ome_Monosoupape LeRhone is more conventional but has an interesting pushrod/rocker arm arrangement Apparently the EV had a lot of trouble with their Oberursel versions Lack of Caster Oil led to substituting inferior Voltol Oil http://en.wikipedia....e_Rh%C3%B4ne_9R

Damage Model Discussion--HPW Campaign DM released!
Duce Lewis replied to Herr Prop-Wasche's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Thanks Pol, I checked and had Effects on 3 Do doubt tweaked it down a while back trying for more performance Upped it to 5 and sent off to try and verify the improvement Unfortunately, all I've been able to do is get shot down once LOL! I'll keep patrolling and see what happens -
OT: RC plane vs. kids with fireworks
Duce Lewis replied to Schnitzel von Krumm's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
LOL! Does he qualify for a Darwin Award if he kills off all his kids? Actually quite dangerous ...I remember reading of a guy getting a ruptured spleen when hit by an RC crate -
Damage Model Discussion--HPW Campaign DM released!
Duce Lewis replied to Herr Prop-Wasche's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Other than the aileron cables, my biggest issue is with the abundant flamers and sparcity of smoke In RL most AC went down smoking heavily I'd like an occasional flamer but there's too many, IMHO What I'd like to see are more black smoke, most just let out a thin trail I must say, the quality of the Flame DM is much better though ...very relistic looking Herr Prop Washe, Great explanation What happens to a round after it hits a Damage Box? Does it pass through and hit the next one? Are some DB's porous and others (ie. engine) opaque? Pol, there might be another factor I saw an episode of Mythbusters where they were testing the Hollywood Cowboy shooting his partners rope as he's being hung They foung that even if they hit it, the rope tended to move sideways and the bullet deflect Breaking the rope was near impossible and they "Busted" the myth -
I tend to fly 1 bird and try to get to know it well N.28 was long awaited and I've flown her exclusively Visibility is a challenge with the upper wing and hoodish windshcreen She handles great if you keep her speed up ...but she bleeds speed fast Surprisingly, acceleration is a problem too With 160 HP, same as an Alb or DVII, and much lighter, you'd think she'd zip

It's really nice to be able to discuss new options for the sim and being given some consideration Thanks for chewing the fat with us OVS! Now that I have mt N.28, I'm quite happy, but here's my wish list for the next 5 IIRC the next add-on is to be 2-seaters so I'll concentrate there 1. Salmson 2 2. Breguet BXIV 3. Albatross CIII 4. Rumpler CI 5. Spwith Snipe - Not a 2 seater but this plane has the fun factor -
Ah, but times they are a changin While only played an organised game of Fussball one time as a youth ...the younglings today can't get enough of it Nice picture and quite appropriate

Makes sense, the US purchased an additional 600 N.28's at war's end Would love to see one up close -
Took about a month off from flyin My homicidal PC had me more than a bit frustrated Getting constantly hit by my own AA compatriots is quite an immersion killer But I just downloaded HitR and the upgrade That sweet li'l Nieup 28 was just calling to me So far I've tangled with DVa's several times She's way more stall sensitive in a turn than the DVII But keep her wings more level and she'll whip 'round quick enough So far I've bagged 3 DVa's and a Hannover And there's a flamin gasbag out there with everything but my boots in it ...Had to make 3 passes before it'd burn! Can'y wait to meet up with some Triplanes!

Thanks Lou, So far I've just throttled back in dives and she's held together alright But if you don't break it at least once you'll never know where the edge is I'll keep pushin it
