I know what you mean NS13 Way back in P1 or maybe early P2, I was chasing Hannovers and Albs in a Spad Hannovers where overpowered back then and it took 10 miles to catch them When they turned to fight, I pulled up into a hammerhead and dove on them Spotted what I thought was an Albatross and dove on his 6 Still remember my thought "That Albatross has a very lonf fusa...lage" Oh crap!!! it's a Hannover!!! We exchanged fire then I flashed past him Sure was a shocker Funny how these OFF experiences stick with you

Firecage, wingies will shoot through you, trample over you, or do whatever it takes to get the victory I found this frustrating too but eventually learned it's best to just get outta their way 1 victory is not worth a collision Yesterday I had a Spad all lined up when tracers whizzed by my port wing Just ruddered over and decided to witness for my wingie Turned out to be a red nosed Jasta 11 DVII, but I got a nice front row seat to a flamer In a twisting DF collisions are always a possibility but the chances can be minimized Also if you're flying in an elite squadron, wingies will chase HA more fiercely Try an averge squad and you'll have less company ...but there's a down side to that too!

Well Jasta 4 has 1 things going for it ...in 5.3 hours I haven't met a Biff yet

Fab indeed! The Lanc is outstanding with nice lighting effects Only trouble I had was detemining it's height The foreground grass is rather featureless Maybe a litle irregular tufts or wheel marks from undershoots at the end of the strip I really hate doing this as I can't do much more than stick figures Great job and a really nice gesture Puff!

Yes, yes, come join Bullett & I at Jasta 4 We go to the train station daily in anticipation I must say though my time here has been much the opposite of yours I care absolutely nothing for this pilot as I'm more concerned with testing He is a lucky sot though 1st mission was a CAP of our front lines Saw many HA up high as we flew towards our patrol line None seem interested in our presense though Our 5 turned towards the lines nd ended up parallel to 6 Spad's, port side, high We flew to the next waypoint which was a turn to port All logic said to ignore the turn and seek tactical advantage But I just wanted to end the mission and made the turn They came down and we had a wonderful dogfight I got 4, but lost all the wingies Had a fifth lined up in my sights, "CLICK" ...nothing ...no more ammo! Those 2 Spadhounds chased me up, down, & all around Finally decided I should feign attacks to scare them into dives Dallied a little too long chasing 1 and his M8 shot my engine up Gig was up so I pushed the nose down and sought mother earth Pulled up the map to orientate myself as we were over the front Rolled 180o and spotted 4 more Spads that I was diving into Looked back and the 1 on my tail was peppering me too Tried to turn and jink but then my engine coughed it's last Found a field just behind our lines with the Spad still shooting me up on roll out Engine started sprouting flames and cfs3 finally mercifully exited ...and the lucky fool lived without a scratch! So come join our hapless Jasta Banished to the doorstep of Hades Our cause is hopeless, our destiny a speeding furnace But there are none who can party like those who accept their fiery fate

Well at least there are no mosquitos here ...they've all been blown outta the sky!!! I've done the last few test flights here Bullett was spot on in his analysis AC everywhere, Archie snappin at your heels on take-off So far I've been able to do my climb outs and warp but there's always multiple HA flights Nice job on that Brisfit Very impressive And none of you approaches seem to be from below
