  2. Aah yes that markings are some of austrian-hungarian ace. I cant remember the name... Thanks for sharing the video. I remember seeing same a/c´s video or document where it was build.
  3. Skin Deep

Thanks for showing these pictures Olham. I will add some when i get to my computer next time.
  4. Skin Deep

Thanks Rabu for the reply. Yes that 3d model viewer i ment. You right its not best to show all details in close if you zoom. But i dont know any other programs that would show 3d model with dds skin, or is there other?
  5. Skin Deep

Well cfs3 have program to show 3d models using default dds file with it. If someone now remember how it will work tell please. I need to check that when going home next time. I cant remember the name...
  6. I would like to know who was flying that albatros dv? Then it might possible to add in the game.
  7. Do you have a WWI movie idea?

He was flying eindecker E.I then Phalz E.I in FFA 19, Porcher 1915, but didnt get any kills when flying eindeckers. Here is few links: http://people.sinclair.edu/thomasmartin/knights/ http://www.jewishgen.org/SAfrica/family-hi...ein_w/index.htm
  8. Do you have a WWI movie idea?

Willi Rosenstein would be good person to make movie. Very interesting character. He was flying whole ww1 starting eindeckers and survived the war. He was jewish, flying same jasta with Göring and after war emigrated to South africa. His son died in ww2 as pilot in RAF. That would make movie enough drama i would say.
  9. I agreed, the white looks very strong color in planes. Example görings fokker d.vii looks very brilliant to my eyes. Very nice. If i can make some advices. I would make more the wood surface shine thrue white color. Look example the Udet´s all gray dv or dva in jasta 37 skin. I did much research and adjustments to make the light colors look right. But like i sayd your skin looks great! Cheers Arto
  10. Skin Deep

Hi Olham, I will try to check this thread skins, or least my made skins like dv/dva´s spad vii´s...
  11. Skin Deep

Is that number 3. really Rumey´s skin? It looks more baseskin of jasta 5 1918. I cant really remember all trosses skins anymore. I thought Rumey´s jasta 5 1918 skin use lozenge wings and one white stripe vertical in front of the wing. Also he had some kind of emblem in fuselage. Like half-moon...? Cheers Arto I love those aces skins a lot also!
  12. OT: New drawing underway

Very nice and professional drawing. Good job!
  13. lol, that might be the trueth. I counted that MvR actually got many but not even close all decorations that german pilots got during ww1. I would say that MvR got about 10% of all german medals or less... But surely he couldn´t add more to his dress.
  14. I dont have my book here now, but i remember that the red eagle order was much more common for officers in wars before ww1. I have seen some 4th class of that orders given to german officers. and yes MvR was only pilot who got red eagle order 3th class. Cheers Arto
  15. Love is in the air.

Can it be that the Görings albatros was born after that?
  16. Medals?

Thanks Louvert for offewring help. We have quite good resources already, but good to know that there is other folks too that have studing the decorations in ww1. Cheers Arto
  17. Medals?

Correct me if im wrong but didnt the purple hearts established first time ww2?
  18. Medals?

Gentlemen! We are working on teh medals system and post a few pics here. Btw. These pictures are low res.
  19. Lol, no i just looking cheap used porsche. I have 924 now and im looking model 944 or 928. I have always loved all of those models. They are quite cheap in german. The Stropp looks very nice. Yes i listen Dan San Abbott and trust his opinions often when making skins. The fuselage especially looks very nice. I like the wood color. Even better than mine...
  20. I see. I notice the blue-white alb in the download section. It is Hans Böhnings a/c. I cant remember the resource but i find out that there was no "ace of spades" emblem but only other paint schemes. If i remember right the craft might have had white wings in jasta 76b or jasta 79b. I added lozenge and white wings version in the p3.
  21. Yes Olham im hugry indeed! There is still so many albatros missing from p3. What blue-white alb you mean? I cant remeber. Hey yeah if i found new porsche from german i will come to Berlin in the same trip :)
  22. Wow! That looks awesome! Olham leave something to me too ;)
  23. Sorry Olham. I honestly dont know. I havent read the history of Stropp yet. Could be both... The people in theaerodrome surely knows was the wings lozenge or mauve/green. The plane could also had both wing type colors during the war if those needed replace.
  24. No unfortunetally if i remember right the jastas between 41-68 are not yet in the p3. Meaby more will come later. So STROPP are not yet in the game. But i can promise if we make more jastas in the future there will be all albatros dv/dva´s included with historical details.
  25. Yeah Olham! You have to try jasta 7. I was suprised you havent seen all albatrosses yet?! Even you are tros fan. Try also jasta 40 if you looking special markings :)
