Going by views from various forums, it seems that this sim is having more than its fair share of problems. I cancelled my order and am glad I did. I will look into buying it when things like frame rates, stuttering and building pop up get sorted out. Have had this sim ordered for a while now but I'm seriously thinking of cancelling it and buying Lock On Flaming Cliffs 2 instead. Crap frame rates, loads of micro stuttering, pop up buidings (AGAIN!) and the "sim" getting slated right across the board especially on the Russian Sukhoi forum is telling me to cancel my order and wait and see how this sim pans out in the next few weeks. Decisions, decisions. .

I posted the picture but I aint particularly knocking RoF, I have it and its good and its getting better patch by patch... except for when you see the stripey bits mainly on the Verdun map. I posted the picture in response to some of the comments about "immersion" in OFF and RoF and those stripes let the immersion factor in RoF down IMO. Just saying like!

One part of Rise Of Flight that aint cutting edge is this.... It doesn't matter how good the gameplay, career mode, multiplayer or whatever is, if you have to look at this. This is edge of map immersion killing at its worst.

Like I say Arca is pretty good but not as good as the classic old Nascar Racing 2003 title in my opinion. Whether Arca is worth buying or not depends on how much you are a fan of Stock Car Racing. Personally I would stick with or get Papy's Nascar Racing 2003 and get a 2010 skin pack such as this one (Nascar 2010 skin set ... http://www.speedracin.net/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?9090) I wont be getting the new Arca title though as they are going down the monthly subscription route a la iRacing. Bollox to that! Hope this helps.

Have you tried Arca Sim Racing or one of the rFactor Nascar mods. Still not as good as Nascar 2003 but not bad at all. Davy
