  1. Time Advance

Thank you sir. I guess I missed that
  2. Sign me up. I would be willing to join any squadron and time that you choose. Sounds like fun. I've not flown without the Tac for long, so I may go down early.
  3. Lt. William Rasmussen hadn't flown in over a week due to the influenza. "In real life he has been fishing..." But, there was some fun in the air, though he was a bit rusty. Or was it on account of the slight fever he still had? The Lieutenant took a wee little flask of brandy into the air to help calm his nerves. "In real life, he did have a couple of brandies on ice, followed by a nice cold chaser....." He is lucky to have survived. With seven missions and seven kills, he lives for another day
  4. Rickity, that is the cold Minnesota weather you've been feeling. Though it has been a nice bit warmer down your way, we barely reached survival on the lakes for fishing the last week.. But the excitement begins
  5. Yes, a great topic Fishing Carving fish decoys You can find more about it, and me at (www.minnesotafishdecoy.com) Riding my 1982 Gold Wing motorcycle. It is old, but still in good condition Alaskan Winds virtual bushp pilot group- FSX (my interest is in vintage aircraft that flew in the "bush" My three grandchildren
  6. Who knows how long he will survive? But now that "Nate" has his own aircraft, he seems to be a little more careful. Thanks to the very nice skin from UK Widowmaker. And, I am very poor with my WW1 aviation history. My labels were off, so was this perhaps an Ace that I encountered?
  7. Never knew such a keyboard existed, Widowmaker. I will keep that in mind. I did find an extra button on my joystick though. And what a difference that does make. Somehow that sounds weird!!!
  8. People have told me I can't find my "arse" with my two hands sometimes So it is too difficult to find the "P" which is what I have used. Problem like others of my age is our eyesight and hand coordination. I have to darken the room sometimes in order to get my Trak 4 to work properly and that is a real handicap. I must figure a way around that. Still, its time for a new stick, having had this one for about 10 years. Don't you all think its time?
  9. Good luck, Lou. You can beat the odds!!! Take out another for your Swedish cousin, Lt. Nataniel Larson who is resting peacefully
  10. OT... AAARGH! :(

Widowmaker, I feel your pain. A couple weeks ago I was looking forward to an entire weekend with nothing to do but fly a few missions and work on a plane skin or two. Then my dear old mum called with other plans... And I have to go and take care of two fo the grandchildren for the next day and night. I would rather have them in my house then my grandson (4 years old) takes control of the joystick and I put him in invulnerable with unlimited ammo! He doesn't pursue very well, but give him a couple of years and he'll get really good.
  11. I may have to get a new joystick. This one I have doesn't have a spare button, but then again, I shouldn't need one for ordinance or dropping bombs that one is assigned, when in the fighter pilot mode. Thanks I've joined another squadron and this time I sure hope to do better. If I can't find a button to pause the game on my joystick, I'll certainly find one on my keyboard that will be easy to find and reach. Thanks for the tips
  12. Absolutely AMAZING. The last song (which I can't remember the name) would be nice background music on an attack and retreat.
  13. Lt. Nathaniel Larson is no longer with us, I am sorry to announce. No fault of his. With no more buttons on my joystick to pause the game to take that great looking photo- I was more involved in taking photos than flying. Big mistake. No excuse for that. It is even worse than running into a tree! I know I could have made the landing, but of the distraction. Probably in real life a pilot glanced at something that he should not have which led to a distaster of sorts. I'll be joining RNAS #1, I think it is as William Rasmussen, my other grandfather as was Nathaniel Larson.
  14. RIP Cpt Kerry Jones

I'll have a cold one in his memory. Ouch is right. I just lost my longest living Tripe pilot.
  15. That is a great looking medal and you will have to take a photo of it when you can display it around your neck, Olham. Congratulations But another idea. Though I wasn't flying Did when I shot down the Ace (yesterday, either Klimke or Dilthey of Jasta 27), I will print a photo of them and start adding to my scrapbook. It just doesn't seem to be right when not in Did, but am one of those that do not survive very long in full realism. I still need more practice!! And I have been at it since?? Now I can't remember. It must have been the last bullet that grazed my head.
  16. I must admit I had the aircraft realism settings on medium or the middle setting whatever that is called. I wouldn't want to ruin such a beautiful plane.
  17. Thank you sir. I knew there was a web site to check for that. I just did not know where to look. I went into the download section in case one had been made., but hadn't found anything. Much appreciated
  18. That is a great idea, Uwe, to be flying on days that correspond with the days. I have done that in FSX and use the real weather features. Now why didn't I think of it for here? And Lawrence had 19 kills! He is a hero!
  19. Looks like we better get the skis on the planes, fellas
  20. That was a nice "splash" and "burn" on the enenmy, Rickity. Now there will be no flying for most of us in Minnesota this afternoon, will there? GO TWINS!
  21. Having only posted a few screenshots, I have a long way to make some real nice ones. But wanted to show off this great looking Tripe for now.
  22. I'll help out Widowmaker...soon as I can. And my email address is on its way. Ras
  23. It is a beauty!! I shall enlist in the RNAS 10, I think. And maybe look for that Yellow plane I have been seeing around so much.
  24. Of course not, SIr. I will be proud of bo both of them and I can't wait to get her in the air. Isn't it a beauty? But my problem is that it will be about 24+ hours before I will have the opportunity
  25. No problem, we have lots of room. I tried to do an edit earlier on my last post and couldn't do so... I wonder how this one will turn out?
