Devs- I am taking off my WW1 hat..my WW1 flight sim hat..my ordinary flight sim hat..and my hobby hat..and putting on my business hat. tttiger just gave you IMHO, an accurate, excellent marketing analysis of why sales and profits may be lacking. OFF is a labor of love and so perhaps the profit side is secondary; I don't know. I am "happy as a clam" with OFF as an enthusiast..but if I had investment capital as risk here I wouldn't be so at all. So I don't know, what the driver is here..hobby/love..sales profit..or some combination of both. It is unfortunate that OFF is so good, but that it's market is limited..perhaps MMP enhancement would be something to think about to open up the customer base ? Just my 2 cents..I love OFF in any event! Regards, Royce

No more "blind reverse engineering". ;>) I haven't experimented with it..I want a life and it's all I can do to survive in OFF. Panama Red - Hopefully more and more planes will make their way into OFF..The Western Front team took years as I recall, to build and FM the many many a/c included in it. Regards, Royce

Why doesn't one view the "unalterable" cloud formations in OFF as the vagaries of weather that exists in every flight, real or virtual, that one flies in? I have flown innumerable times in small a/c (not as a pilot). Clear air tubulance will have one vomitting all over the a/c. Real pilots will attest to the unforseen effects of clouds..clear air..and anything else that nature produces when you are in the air. Why not just accept this as OFF's replication of that real and natural occurance? My 2 cents..pence..etc. Regards, Royce

Re Flames- I think it was was Billy Bishop, one of the leading if not the leading Brit pilot..whose greatest fear was his plane catching fire and burning to death. I believe I read that he carried a revolver with him in the cockpit, in case his craft caught fire. Withg that said, I would assume that planes catching fire was much more common then not, if a pilot of his standing had that much concern about it. Royce

Rabu- Thanks for the reply and setup specs for the card. I'm fine with the OFF Config. file settings..it's the Nvidia settings I was wondering about. I have my OFF resolution set to 1440 X 1920, however my desk top is set to 1024 X 768. Wil that make any difference with setting up the Nvidia card AA settings? Royce

It appears this information would be very useful to all using Nvidia cards; and setting up the CFSconfg. file. I have a 8800GT SLI'd, and would love to have a sort of definitive Nvidia card set up as I am "lost" with the technical side of the card useage, beyond the most obvious settings. Rabu- Your screenshots look great and I am not certain I am getting most out of the AA aspect of the card. After you are done experimenting, would you mind posting or emailing a sort of easy step by step for those of us that are not as familiar with the setup as you are? Regards, Royce
