  1. LHP - I think your MOD is terrific (as I know you know) and has further potential to add to OFF's already very immersive sim...depending on your RL time and limits of the program. Whatever you can add is great..I'm having a great time with it!! Regards, Royce
  2. Lothar- I really enjoy this program! When one puts a face and character interaction to the names of those in your mission flight, it really adds immersion IMHO. I wonder if it would be at all possible to add the pilot photos from the individual encounters at the airfield, to the duty roster board describing the mood traits etc. I think it would enhance the MOD a great deal. Regards, Royce
  3. Terrific work..can't wait for the release. Matt Milne's music is spectacular! Royce
  4. Guesses at Release Date

August 1st ..what could be more appropriate!
  5. British - As above..SimHQ is the official site and CA is also a go to forum. Check in at both for the total OFF update! Royce
  6. HPW Combined FM and EW mod here!

Prop - Been trying out the DR1 and love the way it "hangs on the prop" and turns. Trying out the other crates as RL permits. Thanks for all the hard work and effort to create more historical immersion in an already very immersive sim! Regards, Royce
  7. Doing the right thing

I'm with you Bryant ..Seeing that Marine..standing guard in that child's hospital room...I am afraid there just is anything more that words can say. Royce
  8. Hello... and wow..

JR - Great to hear from you. >> family is good as always << >> All I can say.. is I am really happy. << What more can anyone wish for in this life?" PS- Take care of that two wheeled 'baby' ;>) Royce
  9. A Crossroads in History

If Churchill did say that..which he denied..he clearly changed his point of view entirely, when WW2 commenced. Don't believe history defines America's entry into the war as 'butting in" to others affairs, (almost three years after it began), as someone posted above. The resumption of unrestricted U-Boat warfare and the Zimmermann telegram seemed to be the sufficient tipping point. President Wilson couldn't even get the US congress to arm US merchant ships; that being done by executive order. Bullethead's analysis seems to be spot on to me. Royce
  10. MAW Effects

    >> Even lighting a cigarette had striktly to be done low, so snipers couldn't aim at you. << When I was a kid and started smoking..thankfully, gave it up years and years ago..there was a caution of "three on a match was bad luck". I believe that came from WW1, where if you kept the flame going long enough for three guys to lit their cigarettes, someone usually got shot or shot at.
  11. I had similar type issues from time to time over the years. Usually, I go to the Workshop and Click "Delete All Pilots", "Reset CFS Files" , and or "Reset OFF". That usually clears up any errant files or corruptions that can happen with use. If all else fails..clean install of OFF is the answer. Royce
  12. Just like yourself Hellshade..right into Campaign...DID..probably British to start..early date enlistment...lock myself in my office, and fly for hours and hours ;>) Royce
  13. POL & Co - That's just unbelievable! Great work.. Royce
  14. Twilight of the War Horse

WidowMaker- Bring plenty of tissues..you'll need them. At lesat I did. ;>) Spielberg does a great job with this film. Royce
  15. Is Cliffs Of Dover IL 2, released in the states yet? I thought they were having problems etc. Is Battle of Britain an Addon to CoD? That was an amazing piece of sim video!!!
  16. Hauks- thank for continuing to post these pages...I'm enjoying following these stories..sort of like the "old" serial comics of the Sunday papers...What ? ! ;>)
  17. Hauksbee- I have not looked at a comic book or page in many years. But I have to say that beyond bringing back memories of my youth, the panels, character action, color etc. were really "art forms" unappreciated as a kid. Anyway..I look forward to your postings. Royce
  18. Hauksbee - What archive book is this WW1 story issued? Also, you need to now keep posting pages... ;>)
  19. Hauksbee - I had a collection of comic books when I was a kid (1950's) that would be worth a fortune today if I didn't throw them away as I got older. Tales from the Crypt and the other Tales from...kept me entertained for hours. Anyway..is this archive collection being reproduced in bound book form? Where is it available from? Regards, Royce PS- Found them..thanks for posting the nostalgia
  20. Happy New Year all

Happy and healthy NEW YEAR to all !
  21. Combined FM and AI Weight Mod Complete!

Prop - As Pol suggested above and as I was going to ask..why don't you use the historical weights, RoC etc. as values? Also the other specs for many models, were at one time and probably still are, available from the various web sites around the net..CoG etc. Perhaps if you plug in the historical values in Air Wrench and work backwards or forwards from those values, you can get an accurate FM for the Alb or any other models that you are not satisfied with. But I have to think, that with all the work you have done on the FM and DM for OFF, you have probably already done that. Regards, Royce
  22. Combined FM and AI Weight Mod Complete!

Prop- Thanks for the reply...now I'm flying off to fly OFF ;>)
  23. Combined FM and AI Weight Mod Complete!

Prop - Just to be clear for myself...the only files I need to have activated with the Jones installer is: Lima's AI weight and your new Main FM and AI weight. Just those files? I don't need to have your previous FM files installed as well. These new files replace the earlier ones. Is that right? Thanks, Royce
  24. 50th Birthday today

Widow - It's all just a state of mind...50 is the NEW 30; and when your 60..well, 50 will seem sooooo young. Royce
