Yes, it does save the settings but can't say about the Logitech. It sees my CH HOTAS fine and when my Logitech G25 was plugged in it assigned the CH gear as #2 so not sure why it didn't see your stuff.

Finally DL'd and installed, updated to the newest patch. Just doing training and single missions so far but I actually enjoy it! Have yet to try different planes to see handling differences but with the detail the rest has they can't be too bad.. Going to try online next.
-
No CRAP! I DL'd all the updates (except the $3 P40) but my game DL is only at 70% after a few hours. They are using some type of PTP system which sucks, still have about 2 hours to go at this rate!
-
Just bought it w/ reg VISA, 6.2GB DL will take a few hours.

Posted it here - http://forum.combatace.com/topic/51566-track-ir-3-wvector-expansion-for-sale/ I'd like to see it go to someone in the OFF Community if possible..

Just spoke with Seth (email) at NaturalPoint and he said the license is transferable. It comes with the TIR Baseball hat and hat clip with reflectors. Total, shipped anywhere in the US for $60.00. Email me at techpartners@charter.net if interested. Thanks Gary R.

Compatible with Vista (32 and 64)??
-
May be old news but I just saw it here - http://www.hitechcreations.com/frindex.html . It certainly can't compete in any way with this sim overall but for online play it will allow free-flowing missions with squadrons - all human pilots - with seamless stutter free online flying. I used to love AH, may do so again!
-
Just heard back from Seth at TIR, don't hold your breath for the new software. End of 2010 at best...
-
It's my understanding that the MP code is embedded in the CFS3 source code and as such can't be modified in any way, but I hope i'm wrong. Either way, I love BHaH for the campaign play, but online it's another story.. I'm with you on Canvas Knights also, been following it's progress. Hitech's DOA was never populated with numbers like the WWII arena's and kind of died out. Not sure what the difference will be with the new WWI sim..
-
Can't see why it wouldn't be. If we time it correctly we could get a squadron together when it is released and all try the 2 weeks at the same time. Like AH (and RL) itself, squadrons make ALL the difference..

There are only a few things I would like added to this, or any other for that matter, flight sim. First (it's two actually) would be consistent damage during a dynamic campaign with realistic "rebuild" parameters. The second would be good solid MP code in said dynamic online campaign. I guess if they could change Falcon 4 to use WW1 planes I would be happy!

Firecage - Did you have an earlier version or is this your first TIR?
-
Most likely not, but it's the old "gotta have it cause it's the latest and greatest" syndrome. Also I always seem to have issues with my TIR3 of one sort or another and end up not using it.
-
I believe you guys are correct, either way I guess i'll sell my TIR cheap and grab the latest and greatest. I have the "vector" add in and a "clip", have to check and see what I will need to buy.. maybe they take trades?

I have been using it for a day or so and have a TS 3 server set up. It defaults to a different port but it might work on 8784 (TS2's def. port), just haven't tried it. I think it's a bit cleaner sounding than TS2 but who knows. I doubt that TS Overlay will work with it but again, no try.. I'll try and connect to the server you guys use now and see what happens (as soon as I find the password). Can't connect even when I change the port to 8784.. TS2 connected fine.

Just an FYI- Server and Client in 32 and 64 bit versions. Seems to work well so far, audio seems cleaner on my machine. http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads

Is Vasco's Sunday Campaign on?
GaryR replied to RCAF_Dudley's topic in WOFF 1 2 3 / UE - Multiplayer
I assume you need Vasco's files (as stated on the OFF Teamspeak channel)? How about the special effects file? Thanks G -
Well, to be technical they are ahead (+5), not behind..
-
Hey SDuck, have you tried hooking to another HIR modded game? I just installed it..
