I could never get it to run well under XP, loved the game originally and was disappointed that it hadn't been updated to current OS requirements, oh well.

Nice shot, Otto!

As usual, excellent work, guys! We've got the best here, no doubt about it.

HouseHobbit.. loved the story of your first sortie, but what the heck are you doing flying for the wrong side?.. Professor Tolkien would be mortified that you have betrayed his English blood and joined the other side!

So far, it looks like the ingame high res maps are not possible. You might consider using some of the printable maps that are available for dl on CA-OFF I did some restorations of early WWI maps and some others added a lot of historical info to them. Here are some links to downloads of historial maps that you can print out and that will work with OFF: ChrisPDM1 historial annotations to my Verdun maps ChrisPDM1 historial annotaions to my Somme Map Thanks, Chris! Listen to Parky, trust me, he's given me good advice and saved me a lot of money updating my system (and many others). Thanks, Parky!

Not to worry, you will never have to log onto a security site online in order to play OFF, and you will never be restricted from selling your copy if you get tired of it. All you need is your install disk and possibly the cFS3 disk to play it; whether the team survives or not, there will always be add ons by dedicated followers..true to the Red Baron series of mods that went on and on for years. Salute!

Thanks, much better!!!

I'm going to try it. Did you uninstall your older Nvidia drivers and Forceware, reboot with regular, low vga settings, then install the new version, reboot and set your resolution, etc. back up ?

Thanks, Olham, that's a bonny little "babe!" Good like too, haven't visited Rosebuds for awhile, looks like there is lots of new things and I will have to take time to look it over this evening. Here's a neat Fokker Triplane color reference (click) -
No, you would not, because with that other sim, there is no way to patch it yourself, it's done automatically when you log on to play, which you are required to do to play, single or multiplayer, as I'm sure you know. No way to go back, you accept what they give you, period. There is no way that they can start keeping past versions of patches available, but I would venture to suggest that all you have to do is ask on the forum here. I keep all past patch versions and I'm sure many others do too. And, maybe, you ought to start saving your patches? Anyway, I'm sure that if you need a previous patch and can't find yours, some one here will be happy to send you it .

I think it's fine the way it is too, but this is a good idea for those who want an even playing field, even if it is unrealistic, it would give them the option, which some would enjoy more.
