Alright, thanks, Bletchley.
-
Thanks for the mod, Bletchley, and for the info, Shredder. I guess I can't make any "Workshop" choices per flight in a campaign though, as I only see in the "Briefing", what the next mission will be - and the "Briefing" is beyond the "Workshops". Or did I miss something?
-
In FRAPS you have two or three size settings. Did you compare it to "full screen" size, Widowmaker?
-
Sid, don't hide in a corner now we all made our jokes about your "Faces High" - as a kid I used to ly in meadows, and of course I saw lots of faces, and how they changed. I should try that again. In OFF I have not yet come across some recognisable faces, but I'll watch out for them now, and if I see one, I will make a screenshot.

I don't know how it is in Great Britain, but in Germany professional pilots have a test every year, afaik. I guess there would soon come an age when you can't be a professional pilot anymore. If you lived in Canada or Australia, it might be a good idea, and you could possibly work longer there as a pilot of small supply craft. But here in Europe - I don't think it's a good idea. I don't want to sound pessimistic; sorry if I did - I just answered following my own thoughts, as if it was my own idea to do that. If you just want to fly, you could learn to fly a small plane or even a microlite aircraft - and have fun with it?

Well, I didn't want to - Carrick said that about shooting them down.
-
Raaaaahhhhh! Devs, please - could you accelerate the release of OFF II? Me nerves....!!!
-
You'll have to make do with Strutters for a bit, Carrick. What is this craft? The WW1 "Lightning"?

You seem to have a tendency to loose a wingtip? Great action shots again, Shiloh! That Albatros you fought there was of the German ace Karl Thom, Jasta 21. He survived the war with 27 victories. -
Is that Grover? No? Waldorf or Stattler??

It's a cliffhanger, really is. I imagine an evening series. We're in a bunker, 25 feet under ground. Two agents in camouflage suits have spread lots of photos on a big table. Agent Red: "Professor, now you have read the report, and seen our photographs..." Agent Green: "...which we took at the hazard of our ilves! ..." Agent Red: "...seen these photographs - can you tell, WHEN "Phase4" or "OFF 2"..." Agent Green: "...or however they will name it! ..." Agent Red: "...will be released?" The professor is carefully studying a photo under a special magnifier for minutes. Agent Green: "Professor?" Professor: "Hmmmm.... - well... here I see... " Both agents: "Yeah?" Professor: "Yes, I think I can tell you now, gentlemen! "Phase 4" or "OFF 2 will be released on..." Cut. All black, with a white text saying: To be continued - be with us here next Thursday!

EBC? Can I build that into my Albatros? -

An OFF 1 Diversion Whilst We Wait For OFF 2:

I guess we underestimate the test time caused delays a lot. Already with my skins, it sometimes takes a long time to build an all new one. And that must still be minor compared to your FM work and testing. -
You'll have to be patient, eagle, no Halberstadt C.II yet. In OFF II there will be an Aviatik (I think it is). But since the devs are working mouth wide shut, we don't know - perhaps they are working on other 2seats? Or maybe they'll make them for the next add-on for OFF II ? There is definitely hope for you. If you watch the preview movie, you will find a roster with Kasta and Ss-Staffeln. And those battleflyers need a battle aircraft. So - who knows?
-
Raaaahhhh!!! Now you're cracking up my last nerve!
-
After having read a quick glimpse (you can read a bit at AMAZON - seems he was a Royal Engineer?) I have put the book on my list of WW1 books to read.

That's like hearing your own voice on the answering machine - you can't imagine you sound like that. Tell her, it's not awful at all - she comes across very competent, and I guess she could really claim her rights from the local politicians. And if it's for the Geordy accent - well, if she comes from there: why should she use another?

Great pics, Shiloh! Have you updated your Catalyst drivers to the latest? (12.1 or 12.2 I think). But I guess it depends on the features of the graphic card. If your card cannot do "Morphological Filtering", then it may not appear? But - to me your stuff looks as good as mine - so why bother? -

Don't look back, Sid - look ahead, on all the wonderful time with a NEW BHaH now. Enjoy it! -
I hope they won't choose another important WW1 date - the end of the war. That would be November then.

Faces? In the sky? What drugs do you take?

The title seems rather to be "Sapper Martin" ? I found it on EBAY: http://www.ebay.de/sch/Bucher-/267/i.html?LH_AvailTo=77&_nkw=The+Secret+Great+War+Diary&_arm=1&_armm=63&_ruu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.de%2Fsch%2FBucher-%2F267%2Fi.html%3F_nkw%3DThe%2BSecret%2BGreat%2BWar%2BDiary%26_arr%3D1&_rdc=1 Personally, I have yet to read most of the well known books by WW1 flyers - like "Flying Fury"; so - no, I haven't read it yet. Funny: the name Richard van Emden. "Van" is the Dutch word for from; so in English it would be "from Emden". And Emden is a German harbour town, only 30 km of my birthplace. The world is a small precious pearl.

Wow! Yeah - THAT'S what I wanted to see from your card, Sid! Now you got it right! Look at that DH-5! Don't make yourself down - many other users don't even know where to set up the graphics, and I guess they are still nto idiots. We live in modern world where we all specialise on some facettes, while we never get the clues for others. As for drugs - I gave them up years ago, but my brain seems to work even worse without. -
Hey, she can really give an interview! If I ever had to face a running camera and mike - I'd probably get stuck mute.
