I know it is not an option in P3, von Baur. Still, you could fly in a French Escadrille, but use a Belgian skin.

It will be a new, stand-alone sim; you'll only need CFS3 for some basic data. All new stuff from BH&H and HitR will be included.

Dead simple, really, Carrick: 1. If you are over the crash site of an opponent's plane, you pause. 2. Then you open your inflight map. 3. Now you read the data for longitude and latitude in the top right corner of the map. 4. After flying, you write them into the search frame of Google Maps and press "Enter". 5. There you are! This is a great feature in OFF - these data do constantly change with your course - and they work. Fly over a big lake, note the data and write them into the frame of Google Maps. You will get a map of the area, and most often, there will be a similar lake in it. Looks even better in "Satellite View". Zoom and, and you see where you've just been.

Ah, you mean, FRAPS can give me the average frps I had during a whole mission? Never tried that. Must check it.

Don't know that "app", but to get better frps, I recommend the following: 1. Set "Scenery Detail" (in "Graphics Config") on 2 or even on 1 2. Set "Terrain Detail" on 3 or even on 2 3. Set "Ground object density" on "medium" or even "low". None of this will make your OFF look bad. As far as my experience goes, "Clouds" are not so much the problem, but you could try out the difference between Clouds on "5" and on "3" - just to check that.

Thought I'd have some quiet flying for the evening, and so I activated my Jasta 19 pilot at Buhl-Lorraine, Alsace. Well, that was miles off - those Frenchies there gave me a hard time! Although we literally jumped them, they turned with the speed and grace of swallows, and I really had to earn my victory. Then - don't halloo 'till you're out of the wood! - came their ace! He had been waiting in the glaring sun. He shot me up, it was hell. I saw a fireball overtaking me and I thought "Hey, what's that? A meteor?" But it was my own Daimler Benz engine, which he had shot out of it's compartment!!! Well, I made it gliding down and landing in one piece, thanks to Helmut Kranich - my wingman save the rest of my Albatros and me. Who said, Alsace was quiet? Not in my sector, in June 1917!!!

Blackbaron, the new OFF will really be released in 2 weeks. But the devs never tell, which two weeks that are. Also used quite often are the terms: soon; quite soon; or "in the near future".

By the way - when you are leader of B-flight, the fellers do NOT take off, before you do. At least my well disciplined German pilots don't. They wait patiently, until Pappi has stowed his breaktime snacks and his thermosflask with hot coffee. Well, maybe not totally patient - they often roll forward a notch, as if to give me a hint, that they want to go chasing some Englishmen.

VSync - is that the same as "Vertical refresh"? Or where must I look for that? Couldn't find it in OFF Graphics Settings?
