I have, Widowmaker - for HW. Do you like the Pfalz? I guess I could "release" them for public use, Hasse Wind?
-
Well, I like skinning, Parky, so the offer doesn't mean I'll suffer. Think about some design ideas, and I'll do it.

Well, he had flown more than one Fokker... -
WWI themed comic book. Looks pretty good.

Thank you, Capitaine - do you mean by hijacking, that the French buy their works? Or copy them? -
Just been shopping, I've seen "Skyrim" in two shops here already. But sorry, gents - 60,- Euro (82,- US-Dollar) is absolutely over the top. I can wait.
-
I missed so much - "Baldur's Gate" seems to have been one of the very good ones?

Not bad, Carrick. In Roswell they had found high altitude balloon pieces. -
Did anyone try some User-built Missions here?
Olham posted a topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
In the download section, there are user-made OFF missions, like RAF_Louvert's "Gothas along the Thames!". Some of those must be very good; I myself have tried out two only yet and must have another go soon. Did anyone ever fly some of them, and how did you like them? And do you have any tips, what there is to try out? -

No, not at all. I think Lou had an easy READ ME text with his. -
Parky, that would be a great pleasure for me! You are always very helpful with computer advice here, so yeah, a skin it will be. Name the aircraft type and squadron, and your ideas for emblems, stripes or whatever; desired colour etc. and I will do my best!
-
Yes, as far as I have heard, it was done. Have a look into the multiplayer section for OFF.

Cheers, Shiloh - you are no rookie anymore, and have deserved your "Wings" by now. 2006?! Well, you must have been there even before me then, CaptSopwith - I joined October 2008 (in the old forum). (Although - I have a faint memory of welcoming you to the old forum???) It must be the effect of this time loop - four years of never ending war. Oh yes, of course do I remember that record, Lou, which much be a collectors item by now. If there should ever be a second part, we must add the German march "Oh, Du schönes 'Over Flanders Fields'!" (sung by the "Häschen-Chor" after the melody of "Oh du schöner Westerwald!").

Yeah, I also noticed, that many words from early aviation are not English, as it might be today, but French - like "nacelle" or "aileron" for example.

Tragic Death of Red Arrows Pilot
Olham replied to UK_Widowmaker's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Damn, what a sad way for such a pilot to go. An accident in flight would be more what you might expect to happen, but this... -
Widow, I still remember the first post of yours I ever read. It seemed that you had been away from the forum for a bit and now returned. It was very "Lord Flashheart" style and began with "Woof, woof!", followed by some ranting of yours. We wrote several answers like a ping pong game, and I thought "Hey, that feller brings some fresh wind through the door!"
-
Seen that one before - brilliant to see those planes in action, or close on at the start!
-
Ditto to that! I joined the aircrew in October 2008, and after some forum-reading and chatting, I asked if someone would send me a Phase 2 DVD copy. Of course there were hardly any Germans then - but TYPHOON from Canada (I'll never forget that, man!) was really generous: he sent it and payed the delivery (I made him a skin in return). And now I'm flying OFF since more than 3 years, and still never survived even only one whole year. Does that show, how bad I am, or how good they were? Well, it definitely shows, how good OFF really is. Cheers, OBD!

Well, I'm with Bullethead here through and through. A marriage does NOT belong to the adventures I would expect too much fun from in a game, where I can stroll through the whole world plundering and looting. With all the gold and jewels I could rob there, the girls would all come to me. NOTE: I'm talking about "Skyrim" - my real life is not SO exciting.

Both these pictures bring WW1 aviators very close to nowadays IMHO. Found them here: http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=40589

Damn, that must have been '76 then? I don't have a pic of me in uniform ('74) unfortunately. If I'd send a pic from me 1976, it would be a lanky drummer with pretty long hair... God, how time flies... Hey, Lou - no one can be as innocent as you are trying to appear there. Actually, with those shades, you look like a potenital troublemaker, Sir - with all respect! -

Great - I have never seen that. Was it just a kind of Cigognes membership sign, or a reward? The "fourragère" must be the red-green chord, I guess? Germans didn't seem to have these at all. -

What is the "Cigogne" pin??? Is it the one above the ribbons? Could you show it closer? Is it a needle from the Storck Escadrilles?
