  1. P4 update Please.......

Hihi - the modellers are not really a team, but rather twins, it seems. Hey, Pol - 20 - 30 people only create more chaos. Have some time off for making tea, please. That brew is a miracle for me. Always gets me back on the bike again.
  2. Yeah, "Van the Man" - got some of his records, too. elephant, you Greeks seem to be pretty sentimental, could that be? I got the old "Aphrodite's Child" stuff, and some of Vangelis - always very emotional.
  3. Peregrine Falcon vs Pigeon Peregrine Falcon kills Red Tailed Hawk Especially the second video shows the scout pilots how to do it: approach unseen and strike deadly.
  4. Hahaha, that's a cute choice of your son, Creaghorn - good taste, little boy! Well, and yours is definitely a classic, too.
  5. Yes, indeed. Incl. shipping, it would be ca. 105,- Euro, which is a good price.
  6. Okay, that is a very friendly offer, Shredward. I know you could provide me with 3 views of that craft. Now, the first I'll do is to contact Bullethead about further advice. Then, I'll have to get the GMax program - I'll search for it.. I'll have to build some simpler forms and objects to get started. When I think, I got far enough to start, I'll contact you again.
  7. I know, Shredder - that's why I never touched it yet. I would only get on with something like that, when I do really like the craft - which is the case with this D.VI. I don't know, if any of you OFF modellers have ever compiled some advice for which program is best to use, what tutorials would be best to study; recommended book, etc. ?
  8. PPS: ...and here the TrackIR 5 Pro, from Netherlands, where I got mine: http://shop.rightthi...products_id=118 You can also buy this TrackIR 4 Pro, and use the software for the 5 - it works. http://www.amazon.de/NaturalPoint-TRACKIR4PRO-TrackIR-4-Headtracker/dp/B000EP3BAC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ce_2
  9. PS: here is an American at Ebay - you could buy it at once for ca. 110,- Euro: http://cgi.ebay.de/T...=item20ad5dba0d
  10. Von Oben - in the case you couldn't get it to run properly, I can only say: get a new TrackIR 4 or 5 - it isn't cheap, but it will be soooo rewarding!
  11. P4 update Please.......

We must be interested much faster than the devs can do the work.
  12. P4 Query

After each mission, you have a "Review" or how it's called. Press that, and you will get a lot of data about your own, and other parties' attacks. You must press "Continue" after each data frame appearing. I'm not sure, if it will show exactly what you wanted to know, but that is as close as it gets, I think. The fatigue of your own pilot can be seen in the red text you can pop up wit "Z" key I think; and the health is shown in the last line of the blue teyt you get with F5. There you would see, when you are wounded - normal health I think is at 50.
  13. Pol, there were no computers in WW2, but undoubtedly very cruel violence. That's what they are trying to ban here - as if that could make better people. Yes, Morris, STALKER has a very own believeable and quite morbid atmosphere. I liked it a lot. Thank you for the link - will try that! itifonhom, ask at your local shops for the Austrian "Game of the Year" Edition. Not sure yet, if it is better than STALKER - it seems to be different. STALKER did look more realistic to me, but then it's all about taste. Yeah, Widowmaker, Big Sister is watching us (with a face like a bull terrier). She had a serious speech about copyrights. Only when our Verteidigungsminister, Karl Theodor zu Guttenberg, had copied most of his Doctorate, that seemed to be a different matter. Tch! You're right, Creaghorn - our "öffentlich-rechtliche TV news" and the journalism here in Germany must be outstanding free, and I wouldn't want to miss that. As for YouTube - do you think YouTube America is someting different than YouTube Germany? Do you really believe, all those other countries have own YouTubes, which orderly pay copyright money to SONY or BMG - only German YouTube doesn't?
  14. Well, if you'd assure me, that you won't build it yourself within 2011, I could try to build it. I am quite certain, that Bullethead and others would help me with tips and tricks. But as I know, 3D modelling is very time consuming and straining, I wouldn't want to get half through all the work, only to find, you have released one. What d'you say?
  15. ...which wasn't Udet's fault. Or do you mean perhaps, Mölders might have been killed, cause he was also a critic?
  16. Wodin, this is what I get. Gawd!!! We Germans must be the only big source of money for the music industry? This video contains content from Believe, WMG, INgrooves, The Orchard Music and EMI. One or several of these partners have banned this video fro copyright reasons. And sorry, but please don't break the rule - otherwise we will get flooded here with the top twenty or even more of everyone. Carrick, your video is also banned for me. Parky, yours was NOT banned - is he a loser? Naw, just kidding. A country guy with such humour - is he Canadian? Never heard such words from an American?
  17. The war may have repeated in his head for so many years - may you now rest in peace, Frank Buckles.
  18. If you like to see, where MvR and his pilots resided at Roucourt - enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmeEp2yXCmo
  19. Hihi, well, the "YouTube Police" is an invention of Hasse Wind. There must be many lawyers underway, who prevent, that content can be watched and heard, that belongs to BMG or SONY Entertainment. So it mostly depends on the music people lay under their videos.
  20. Almost - it's "Einspritzung". How did you like the "Mosquitos"?
  21. Lewie, I know how you suffer - I also have dozens and dozens of good songs, and I'm sure everyone else here too. That was the (nasty) point: to name THE one song above all others.
  22. Did you go far enough? It starts with shabby bandits and cheap, broken weapons, but it gets better and better.
  23. Here I can learn something new - didn't know "Clear as the driven Snow" by the Doobie Bros. nor "'39" from Queen. Great video for "A Day in the Life", CaptSopwith - never seen it before. The "YouTube-Polizei" doesn't allow me to see and hear the Wallflowers. But that's okay - only 1 song. They also censor the Flamingos for Germany. Widowmaker, if you want to hear something good post-2000, you absolutely must listen to ARCHIVE's CD "Lights" - a very good work.
  24. If you guys like this kind of game - did you play STALKER ?
  25. Yes, it reminds me of what another officer said to the German writer Eugen Roth. Roth wanted to see an exhibiton in Munich in the later days of the war, and got a Nazi officer to show him through the paintings. When they had seen everything, the officer said frankly to him, that he knew all was lost. Roth asked him to change his ways, and even to get out of the NSDAP. The officer held his hand for long time and spoke his mind about the whole regime. Then he finished saying: "I cannot turn anymore. It is too late. All that we have done... When you dress in the devil's uniform, when you walked with the devil - then you can only go down with the devil. But thank you for listening - I had to speak my mind to an honest soul." People in Udet's time after WW1 could not know, what Hitler would really make out of Germany. "Nazi" was not a dirty word then. And many officers wanted to join in to a new Germany, that would overcome the "disgrace of the Versaille treaty". He killed himself as early as 1941. He was intelligent enough to realise, that he was wearing the uniform of the devil. And that the devil would not let him lay it down.
