Creaghorn: ...in fact jams and stoppages should occure weigh more often than currently. Well, I can't complain - I have them VERY often. Almost once in each and every sortie.

Did the fleets illuminate their opponents? With kind of flares, or how did they do it?

The Hannover CL.II and its rear guns

Well, that might be unfair against the Fee - it should be able to perform a good fighting. And a better fighting Fee would make one man especially happy here: Bullethead. Hey, Bullet - where are you??? -

Although being more the fighter type of pilot, I think improved AI behaviour for 2seats would be nice to see. And as they are still in the early works, there may be good chances this gets re-considered. It would make it much more challenging to attack the "big ones". The Fee could perhaps be made a bit like a semi-Brisfit - it is a 2seater but also a fighter? -
Today, I have refined my flare cartridges, which I attached at the cockpit starboard side of my Albatros. I couldn't find much about the flares they used, but I read, they had green, white and red flares. I don't know, wether the whole cartridge itself was in the colour of it's flare fire - maybe that was only marked on the percussion cap. But I made them like this, to illustrate them more. Here is a gif-file with transparent background. If you can't use that, you may download this Jpeg, and eliminate the white surrounding. Then you only need to adjust the size in your skin file. Enjoy!

Hihihi!!! Type setters, graphic designers, signwrites - fond of fonts we are. I suffer from the same disease.

I think, what MvR also could have meant, was the very good climb in combination with only the 110 PS Oberursel rotary. There were more powerful engines by that time - the Mercedes D.III had already 160 PS. The good climb of the Dr.1 seems to come from it's good wings/airfoil. By the way: MvR flew an Albatros D.V before the Fokker Triplane - not a D.III.

DonL, there are still tons of unexploded granades in Flanders. Hey, are you flying OFF, by the way?
-
Every rule has an exception. So I say: all BE2c, except the one flown by Major Timm. Okay? (And I give you the good advice: never try that on me...okay?)

nbryant, I have made dozens of skins by now, and my first steps didn't look as good as yours do. It also depends on the graphic program, I believe. As a graphic designer, I have and use Photoshop, which is a very professional (and expensive) program. Many effects you can do there, can not easily be created with less complex programs. Keep up your interest in skinning, and your work on this field, and you will find new or refined ways how to do it. This SPAD looks very "believeable" among the OFF skins! -
Thanks, BB - bookmarked!

Looks like there were even small Belgian field artillery teams that used dogs to pull the guns and ammunition. -
At least one thing is missing in the first bar fight story in post #1. That is the secret talks between Britain and Russia, and the British promise to assist Russia with it's fleet in the Baltic Sea, when Russia should get into war with Germany. That was, before the war broke out, and it was first totally denied towards the Germans by Gray. It is a point, that would make every nation nervous, that finds itself already surrounded by three states, that have alliance pacts with each other. Perhaps someone can flick it into the story.

Man - the last adventurer you are! That's great - no one can steal those memories from you!

Le Prieur rockets very unrealistic
Olham replied to jamieandnici's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I have destroyed many trucks with the guns, too. I have never tried a train yet. Without rockets though, I may just put a few exhaust holes into the locomotive - not more than slowing it down slightly. I may have to start another Entente campaign, to get my own rockets. -

Never seen a locomotive being blown up here yet - is it possible? Screenshots, please! -
Hey, you have really landed there, tranquillo??? I tried to do so with a twin engine prop aircraft (forgot which one it was) in FSX. Coming from a WW1 Albatros, it was a sweat driving experience. I shreddered the craft on the runway, but might have survived the proceedure. It wasn't only the short runway - the approach is also made through the mountains around you.

Dogs - small as they are - they will pull five times their weight! -
A dream of a wife you must have, Lou - congratulations!

Okay, thank you - wasn't sure. And yes, when I have rather little time, it would be nice, if I could warp past a flight of BE2c, which won't attack my Albatros flight anyway.
-
Hellshade: I personally wish it could be reduced to at least a 2 mile range before warping is turned off, but that is up to the Devs. Did you try setting the TAC to a 2 mile range? I am not sure, but perhaps it does influence, when warp is turned off?
-
Well, let's not insult sharks here - they have no choice what to be.

UncleAl: That's what happen's when you have a rig built especially for OFF, it stinks at everything else UncleAl, I'm sorry, but that is ridiculous. It sets me up, cause you kick OFF against their shinbone by making OFF look like a product, that was difficult to handle, which it is not, and they really haven't deserved that. You only need someone who has a better hand for computers. I say it for the twentieth time now, and I will say it again: I am running OFF on a medium range rig, with Windows Vista even, and it is running fine.

A lawyer is a man who can read AND interprete law. Therefor he is capable to explain a native red Indian, that the land he lived on since hundreds of generations does not belong to him, cause he has no document, that says whom he bought it from.
-
I bet, as soon as he has P4 installed, UncleAl will attach LePrieur rockets to the Ford Model T and drive off for hunting cows.
