  1. Recorded my patrol flight

Hughesyman, your video is not available in Germany any longer, because of the music owned by Sony Music.
  2. Over Flanders Fields - Between Heaven and Hell

Olham
  3. When you are piloting a D VII, you can say that - and do it!
  4. Widowmaker, you are really entertaining sometimes! Bullethead, "Alles drin, alles dran!" is said when something or someone is to your full convenience and complete satisfaction; or if you want to sell it as such. It means: all inside (that should be in there), all attached (that should be attached). Does that make sense?
  5. She's so good to me!

That was sweet of her; she didn't buy ANYthing, but the right things! Cameljockey, if you don't deserve it so far - make you deserve it in future.
  6. I knew this would happen...
  7. Yes, as Morris says. It is a rude version of what a dentist would say to a waiting patient; the doc would not say "Du" to him, but "Sie sind gleich dran." "Sie" is how you address someone, you are not very familiar with, while "Du" is used for friends and relatives, and for children. But the use of "Du" can also be meant degrading. So this is said in a degrading, respectless form: "You will be next!" or "You will get served/treated next!" It is rather a bit street language, Sieben, as the correct saying is "Sie sind gleich dran." The word "kommen" is not the correct use you would learn in a college, but common saying.
  8. Well, thank you, Morris, but the bigger THANKS belongs to the skinner, who made the Fokker D VII skins (don't know who did them, sorry!), as it is basicly a skin from Jasta 7 (all black). I can only recommend to all to get Irfanview and go through the many skins we find available in our sim - I was stunned again, what I found there.
  9. Showing mercy

Nice report, Creaghorn. Real mercy doesn't care, if you receive anything back, or if times for chivalry are over. It is more a kind of respect for the whole creation, and it's single beings. Even when the same being might shoot you down next time.
  10. Gawd - sometimes I hate to be right...
  11. Just stumbled across this website; didn't even know WAPEDIA before. There are several pages of detailed info, that might be interesting for you. http://wapedia.mobi/de/Luftstreitkr%C3%A4fte_%28Kaiserreich%29?t=1.
  12. This is what you should have after the http-thingy ( http:// ), to make the right address: wapedia.mobi/de/Luftstreitkräfte_(Kaiserreich)?t=1.
  13. Fishing? Conrad, now you have surely made a friend in Widowmaker - and I know where this topic will now develope to. Karps and pikes!
  14. OvS, maybe it's the writing - the German address has an "ä" in it, that's an "a" with two dots on (Umlaut). If you can allow Umlauts, please try that.
  15. Try this then, OvS - might be the same in English. http://wapedia.mobi/...reitkr%C3%A4fte No, checked it; it is far less info. German link works for me as for Widowmaker. Why not in USA?
  16. Early WW1 gunship?

    Me first, me first!!!
  17. Early WW1 gunship?

Sometimes you're quite predictable, Unc - I KNEW you would come up with this pic again. You're right, I would always prefer a Pup or a DIII in a fight against this monster.
  18. Sorry about this, Conrad, but it is my belief, that one day we will all meet again.
  19. If you ever landed behind enemy lines and got captured, you know these two gentlemen. As the note says, they where in the POW camp in Karlsruhe. Now, Karlsruhe would be "Carl's Rest" in English - and like having a good rest, they look to me. So, perhaps this picture helps you Entente flyers to be less frightened of getting captured. We Germans won't let you starve. http://www.earlyaeroplanes.com/archive1.htm
  20. Body language of the left guy says to me: only half an hour, until we get some good food again! Hmmmm!!! And of the right guy with the pipe: we surely underestimated them - they do get a nice tobacco from Turkey! Hm!!! But you can't see it - it's like with children in the dark: they want to see monsters - and they see them.
  21. UncleAl, you are somewhat 'rotten minded' sometimes, oh man!
  22. Just found these two interesting pictures at Rosebud's website here: http://www.earlyaeroplanes.com/archive1.htm The notes explain them - so enjoy!
  23. Yep, Creaghorn, it must have been hard to realise what was going on around you. I find it hard even in a sim often enough - and I have a "pause" button!
  24. As they where brothers, you could still be right it was in Manfred's book, Bullethead.
  25. Widowmaker - no German would ever expect something eatable from British cuisine! That's why we are fighting so hard, not to get caught! (And I remember, Pol - that Shepperd's Pie might be an exception).
