  1. Seems the newbies are all on the other forum?
  2. My first Train in WOFF

A very believeable, nice photo! Which time are you flying there, Corsaire? I have a pilot there too, with Jasta 17 in Feb 1917! I'd hop over to your two-seats mess, and we could drink some wine together!
  3. WOFF: Screenshots and Videos

Haha - I just wanted to say "Le vrai Francais portes un moustache" - but then I saw the Iron Cross...
  4. OFF Forum Pilots Maps

The WOFF pilots will just be added, cause it would be too much hassle to sort out those, who did fly OFF before, and those who didn't.
  5. The simpler you keep them, the more believeable they are. Looks good to me so far, Beanie.
  6. AbeBooks seems to be an international online shop for antiquarian books - when they don't offer it, it must be REALLY rare.
  7. Where is everybody ?

Well, the visuals are one thing, surely, but the whole way the AI is working and behaving almost human, totally unpredictable - that is a quality 'the other sim' is lacking completely. And the landscapes in WOFF appear much more like northern France than in RoF. The single player campaign quality factor is definitely ten times better in WOFF IMHO.
  8. Yes, I hope so - but I have not received that many names yet. Keep them coming, guys!
  9. OFF Forum Pilots Maps

Yeah, that was strange - the DownUnder map was in there, but not shown. I hope it is "repaired" now - pls check again, bert.
  10. My first Train in WOFF

I often fly back to home base quite low, to enjoy the beautiful landscapes. Mind you - watching your six is elementary for survival.
  11. You'd be amazed, how many old books you can find with ABEBOOKS.com
  12. My first Train in WOFF

It was on our side. And I couldn't do it anyway - I love the old steam trains!
  13. ...and the hardcopies are here: http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?an=Robert+Reece&sts=t&tn=night+bombing+with+the+Bedouins
  14. Where is everybody ?

Well, as one of the co-founders and the - aerhm... - damn, I always forget what my position is in the club; was it vice president? - I am here regularly. But I agree; activity is very low recently. I guess everyone is trying hard to achieve anything worth reporting with the new sim, which is in some ways more realistic, and thereby harder. Give them time, Corsaire. The long winter also takes it's toll - with coming spring, I guess, everybody will come out of their ground holes again. Our president Lou is very busy workwise, and in his spare time working on a wonderful, huge WOFF Verdun Area Map, for which he actually fliesover all areas and makes aerial "photos", which he then compiles and uses as a basis.
  15. My first skin...

Great idea - I'll have three pints of their best bitter!
  16. WOFF: Screenshots and Videos

You mean, you are also just only starting with WOFF, Corsaire? Me too - I haven't been able to fly much recently, but after Patch 1.15 the Albatros behaviour seems improved to me, and I have four pilots waiting for me to fly them. I hope to hear more of your deeds; I'll report of mine here soon.
  17. My first skin...

Well, the Jasta often made their unit recognisable by the colours on the tailplane. Jasta 28w had a yellow tailplane with two longitudinal black stripes. Your taiplane looks close to Jasta 19's.
  18. My first skin...

Beautiful, Hauksbee! Or maybe rather: threatening! (Jasta 19 ?)
  19. WOFF: Screenshots and Videos

    Bonne chance, Francois!
  20. WOFF: Screenshots and Videos

Ha, that's a new perspective - good shot, Corsaire!
  21. WOFF Training Flights?

Jim, the new pilot enlisment in WOFF is just great, as it would send you where the brass think you should be useful. But like so many here, you may have overlooked the "button" in the low right corner - something like "enlist manually". There you can select everything yourself, scroll through squadrons and time - as it was in OFF.
  22. WOFF Verdun Map Completed

Lou, you're mad indeed - would we otherwise get on so well with each other here?
  23. WOFF Verdun Map Completed

I use FIREFOX, but that doesn't seem to work for me. Thanks for the link, ulti!
  24. WOFF Verdun Map Completed

PS: for some reason, I cannot save the map graphic from this post. If I right-click on it, it will only grow larger, but I get no "save graphic". Am I overlooking something?
  25. WOFF Verdun Map Completed

    Ah, alright - understood.
