Camel, after a mission you can click "replay" or "review" or similar in the briefing window. But that will just show a map with your flightpath being drawn; and every action will be told with data about rounds fired, altitude, being hit etc. No video though. I assume, that CFS3 just didn't support that feature. You can get the program FRAPS, and make videos with it. The full version costs about 20,- Euro; but there is a free test version - just google for FRAPS.

Yes, indeed! Have a look at the screenshots in the "Hat in the Ring" advert. It's getting even better!!

Haha! Ras, here we say: You wouldn't kick the dog out in this wheather W.C. Fields comes to my mind. In one movie, he plays a theater director/actor. Every now and then, he would look out of a cabin. A hand would throw paper snow in his face, and he'd say: This is no wheather not for man nor beast!

Sounds reasonable to me, Siggi. Some of "my men" seem to like them though. So it should be a "can be", not a "must be", I think.

Update 12/07/09 13:32 Berlin wintertime (= GMT + 1) Redkite, Wales, added. Destracto, Poland, added. All the maps are in post 1 of this thread

Oh - ahhm - where's my book about the Snipe! I must familiarise myself with her strengths and weaknesses. One day he may get it, and then...
-
Hahaha! Typical male - you'd rather fight a "Razor" in a Bristol Scout than suffer from only watching the proceedure as a helpless man. I understand you. All my best wishes for the little one and for your daughter, Sandbagger!
-
PS: Did you see "my" new "Razor", Widowmaker? I'll paint a "Reeper" on it and fly it in your nightmares! Mmuahahahahahaaaaa!!!!

NOW - LOOK - AT - THOSE - SCREENSHOTS - INDEED :good: Click on the the above "Hat in the Ring" anouncement, everyone, go to the screenshots and watch in awe! Do those kites look excellent? And did you "tweak" the landscapes, guys? There is a view from a Nieuport cockpit at a town by a hill, that I have never seen before? The cockpits so detailed - what else is there still to be tweaked? Bring it out!
-
Wow, must be a rare one? If I was flying British side, I might bite at that price. Looks like a very detailed history with good pictures - like a must-have for the WW1 historians and collectors. Me personally, I would save the money for the next four OFF Add-ons.

If nothing else helps, you might have to press "CFS3 reset" in workshop. But that way, you will loose your pilots. I used to have similar problems with Phase 2, and there I it helped to change my "regional language settings" to "English/USA", so the dates and data where now "understandable" for the sim again. But I never had those problems with "BHaH".

Hey, you guys - you got it wrong! It isn't called "snow competition" but "snowMAN competition". So where are the pictures of those? Every Eskimo can show pics of 10 feet of snow! Edit: well, maybe not... Do they have cameras? ... Internet? ... Forget about it.

Uuuuhh! Nasty! They die so young these days...

Good to hear, Siggi! Lou, for rainy wheather that won't stop, I recommend the bashy Beatles song "Rain" - a tune, in which they have made almost a punk song, long before that was "invented" - but with a very positive mood! But the C.C.R. song is also great (didn't they have another hit with "Rain" in the title?) Who'll stop the Rain Long as I remember The rain been coming down. Clouds of myst'ry pouring Confusion on the ground. Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun; And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain. I went down Virginia, Seeking shelter from the storm. Caught up in the fable, I watched the tower grow. Five year plans and new deals, Wrapped in golden chains. And I wonder, Still I wonder Who'll stop the rain. Heard the singers playing, How we cheered for more. The crowd had rushed together, Trying to keep warm. Still the rain kept pouring, Falling on my ears. And I wonder, Still I wonder Who'll stop the rain. Rain If the rain comes they run and hide their heads They might as well be dead If the rain comes If the rain comes When the sun shines they slip into the shade and sip their lemonade When the sun shines When the sun shines Rain, I don't mind Shine, the weather's fine I can show you that when it starts to rain everything's the same I can show you I can show you Rain, I don't mind Shine, the weather's fine Can you hear me that when it rains and shines it's just a state of mind Can you hear me Can you hear me

Since the "Krauts vs Crumpets" Campaign is very hampered by bad wheather, I have started flying in Jasta 15 with Ernst Udet and Heinrich Gontermann. La Selve aerodrome is situated north of a beautiful, hilly landscape. Today I saved Udet's day by shooting a SPAD VII from his tail. Two days ago he did the same for me. I suppose, we will have some drinks in the mess now. (The brown Albatros D III early is from May, when Udet is there. The Albatros D III OAW is flying in October 1917, when Udet has left, and Gontermann has fallen.) -
Hey, Bullethead, that looks big enough for two whole families. Or an Indian tribe, maybe. Must be nice to inherit such a big home. Although, all the cleaning work...
-
Foreigndevil, war pilots are on both, all the time. 'Uppers' for the sorties, 'downers' for sleeping, and drinks just for fun. Just saved Udet's day in a flight with Jasta 15 - a SPAD VII was in his neck, and they both went down diving faster than an Albatros should. So I shot the Frenchman off his tail. He did the same for me two days ago. Must go to the mess now - Ernst will buy the drinks today!
-
Siggi, the hours are shown as the sum of minutes in the 12. line of the pilot dossier. (So in my case it's 652 or something). To be on the safe side, you could pick a calculator and sum up all minutes from the log.
-
Wasn't that in the CFS3 config? You would have to open it with Editor, then find the TAC colours (easy - even I found them long ago), and then write down the numbers. Choose the right (desired) ones, fill the numbers in (attention: only the last six numbers I think- you'll see, what I mean). Then save the file. Important: make a backup of the file BEFORE.
-
Well, Siggi, if your pilot was Pilot No. 6 for example, his files would be called Pilot7 (all three of them). So my guess is, that you would - after the CFS3 Reset - have to create at least six new pilots. The sixth should be the same nationality as the old guy. Now you place the content of your backup files into these new, yet virgin, Pilot7 files. Then it should work.

Look into Ebay now and then - I found a dealer in the USA, who sells TrackIR 4 for 66,- Dollar, which is great! And you can just download and use the TrackIR5 software with it. Works for me. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.de/NEW-TrackIR-4-Pro-Head-Mouse-for-6DOF-Virtual-Realty_W0QQitemZ160383954767QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games_Accessories?hash=item2557a0ef4f

Anyone got 2 million dollars they can lend me?

Widowmaker: I reckon, for an aeroplane to look beautiful...it's first priority is that it should only have one wing. The Spitfire is Beautiful. Absolutely! No need to debate! Albatross?....hmmm I know what you mean - but I love her anyway; like you may love a girl with a hooked nose. -
