  1. German ace experts

Could have been red "KP" - that's Konrad Poralla's DIII OAW, Jasta 32. But that would have had a black tail? I didn't check through the DVs; too much work. Next time just add the Jasta, please.
  2. Brrrr (shudder)! Must I now take a bible with me on my flights? Definitely this name will be known all along the front line soon.
  3. Anyone tried these DM after patching up to 1.32c - please report!
  4. Recent Warp Issues

I don't ewen hav anny rocketz? Had I rocketz, I could blow zee crumpetz to ze moon!!! Mmuahahahahaaaa!!!!
  5. Emile - the first thing to go to is "Workshops" in the left low corner. There go to "Graphics config", then to "File", then to "Change display options". There you may find the lowest setting (800 x 600) or a higher one than your monitor can do. Set the right resolution, click "OK" and leave by clicking "exit". This will change itself again unfortunately, and you must remember to look into that every new start of OFF. Please report if it worked.
  6. Pilot Accuracy?

Well, depends also on the "Player guns only" settings, I think. Got mine set to "normal". My best pilot's average I think is 22 %
  7. Recent Warp Issues

Must be great blasphemy for all Star Trek fans - a good laugh for me though!
  8. OFF Forum Pilots Maps

Update 08/14/09 17:40 Berlin time IV/JG1_Kaiser, Australia, added. The maps are in post 1 of this thread
  9. The best game I played, before OFF so rudely interrupted me, was S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. Very good athmosphere. The follow-up, "Clear Sky" was okay, but could have been greater. FallOut 3 looks really good - much in the direction of the above.
  10. Fly zig zag criss cross - never straight for longer than half a minute. Flak wants to kill you. And by 1918, they aren't beginners anymore.
  11. Winder and Pol, have a nice holiday! May your strained nerves recover to the best. I wish you the desired wheather for whatever you'll do. And come back safe and well. Olham
  12. OFF Forum Pilots Maps

Update 08/14/09 15:30 Berlin time Vogel, Mexico, corrected. kingfish, California, added. The maps are in post 1 of this thread
  13. Central heating in his face mask? Or is it an early headphone cable? There is a cable going to the cockpit - does anyone know what it is?
  14. Found these at the great picture website www.earlyaviator.com Enjoy!
  15. Yup! But a WW2 Liberator only LOOKS more solid - in fact the most was rather thin alloy. And a Flak burst near the fuselage could have badly hit everyone in the craft. (Ever seen "Catch 22" - the scene in the Mitchell bomber?)
  16. OFF Forum Pilots Maps

Update 08/14/09 00:58 Berlin time Vogel, Mexico, added. The maps are in post 1 of this thread
  17. Vogel, see the thread "OFF Pilots Map" later today - I will add you in the map now. Go to the first post of that thread and click on the America map - you will be in there in half an hour from now. Have fun!
  18. There must be 32b AND 32c by now, redwolf. Use the 32c then, as Pol said.
  19. Yeah, why not, Winder - easy as easy can be. For getting used to all the other things. Later they will push it higher, cause they want more reality points. Why not, I say.
  20. Gratulation, Herr Carrick, wunderbar! Yes, you can turn with them. When you really need it tight: nose down, bank 50-60°, rudder with the turn. Of course you loose altitude, which you must try to regain somehow. But that way I have often turned into a Nupes curve and plastered her. And once they are hit, they loose a lot of their prima-ballerina dancing! My Jasta 1 pilot in Vivaise, May 1917, often returns alone. But none of the Nupes do. Mmuahahahahaaa!!!
  21. You're the same as me there - you see so much potential in here, so much to try and do, that it may well last for two more years at least. Where are you in your best campaign?
  22. Dead is Dead (sort of)

I think it was Creaghorn, who did such Jasta - changing, but unfortunately he is on holidays.
  23. Okay! Of course I have the Super-Patch on - so I'll only need v1.32c Excuse the question, but you guys come up with new patches quicker than I can install the previous ones. (I'm only quick in my Albatros).
  24. Vogel, perhaps you fly German side first - they don't cross the lines often, and you might even use "time advance" to avoid any such mission. And please PM me your hometown and country - I would like to add you to the OFF Pilots map.
  25. Will you use it in an American Squad., Jim?
