OT: Crazy weather in Newcastle!
Olham replied to UK_Widowmaker's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Reading all this, I must have been extremely lucky with some fine weeks of summer in Berlin. But boy - if it rained, it rained as if the Heavenly Corporation was trying to extinguish all hellfire. PS: If you want to find the last spot of warm sunlight, Tranquillo, you need a cat. They always seem find them. -
Bordeauxred Baron: "Der silly Blighters - how can zey vin ze warr, when zey are foolink around like ziss vizz der Kink's aircrafft!"

Is it looking like this one? It looks like a Masonic medal/pin to me. The bell with the crack must be the American Liberty Bell. The headover "V" you mean is the circle/compass of masons; and there is also the masons' right angle. But I do not know it's meaning. I hope someone else can help here - Lou might know it.

Some don't need enemies, eyh, HouseHobbit? Good one!

Things are not out of proportion - they are only unequally spread. Rice from Finnland - that should open completely new markets! -
I know what will happen when Lou sees your post, Mike! Mmuahahahahahahaaaaa!!!! Looking mighty good indeed, and I guess it must feel very much more like the real thing. Now come on, give us the price - there are some users here who may be thinking of getting it.

OFFbase: the Barmy Automated Squadron Experience for OFF
Olham replied to Lothar of the Hill People's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Like in WW1 aviation, Beanie - the two-seats made all the tactical important work taking photos or leading the artillery, or bombing targets - risking their bums every day on far flights into enemy terrain. And who received all the attention? -

Muahahahahahahahahaaaa!!!! You should do it like me: I quote myself a lot, to add the right flavour to my monologues. -

So had I, Mike, so had I! Or this one is also good - the Sopwith Pup is one cute little fighter. In it's eary days it must have been a good and reliable 'companion' - I'll fly a campaign with in, when WOFF is released. When Manfred von Richthofen had met the first Sopwith Pup, he wrote this about her: (Flt.Lt. Allan S. Todd in Sopwith Scout N5193...)"attacked us and we saw immediately that the enemy plane was superior to ours. Only because we were three against one, we detected the enemy's weak points." (Quoted from: "The Red Baron - Beyond the Legend" by Peter Kilduff) Von Richthofen was flying an Albatros D.II during that mission.

Today I updated my ATI Catalyst Control Center to the latest driver v12.6. After that, my TrackIR software didn't work anymore. So I deinstalled it, downloaded the latest version, and installed that one. Still no joy - Error! Fortunately I had made a backup of my whole Boot-Partition, and so I wrote that back. And - TrackIR works fine again! I would recommend not to install the latest ATI driver 12.6, if you use TrackIR.

I use 12.1

Because you can't read German. It is there. It's the second bar at the left, which I have shown opened already.

Panama Red, you can make differing settings for different games; and save them. In CCC at the left, there is someting like "Preferences" or "User Settings". Now, what you must do is make a setting up; then you save it there. Perhaps my Jpeg helps, even though it's in German. You should always before flying or playing, make a right-click on your desktop; go into CCC and select the "preference" you want for the particular game or sim.

I hope, that many more of our "lost brigade" will come out of their trenches and holes, once WOFF will appear. Hopefully earlier! Welcome back, HouseHobbit!

Pips, she is a furry cutie, and she may only have 1 disadvantage: washing her, after a mud bath. She looks like she still needs a lot of cuddling - which I bet you will provide. Have a lot of fun with her, Pips!

Didn't start at all - got a little "error" message. Thanks for that link, von Paulus.

Okay, okay; now that you have sung your own ode - what else is there for me to do but to ask: What about the drinkies??!!! Good you're back, Stump!

Paula Patton - I just checked and found pics of her in the web - you don't like it soft and easy, eyh?

Again: I am flying Buddy1998 activated, and I do get Lone Wolf missions.

If you fly the Eindecker, you should postpone the victories to make onto the later fighters, or concentrate on the BE2c, to train the shooting down. Most of your energy will go into survival. But I don't say it's no fun - it is a challenge. Again - all the best!

He hasn't removed them. I read he had made them work better (waypoints). But they still work strange for me. That was a very cool idea you added there, Bletch!
