Argh - wrong question, von Paulus. I don't drink it anymore (except virtually), but I must admit, the fine summer weather here made me very thirsty, and I would have loved a huge Warsteiner on several bicycle trips!

I may be on leave, but my sister's husband has a rig - so "Hello!" from Ostfriesland, HumanDrone - that is a fine castle indeed, Sir!

"I'm afraid I did, Lou, I'm afraid I - Burrrrrpss!!!!!" - (Faint!) - Thudd!!!!

Welcome over Flanders Fields, Toshiro! When I'm back in Berlin in 10 days, it would be great to find a PM of you with your hometown and country/state - I will add you to our OFF Pilots Maps then. Have fun! -
Sceptre, you could use the time 'till the release, for training your survival. WOFF will sure be even much harder.

Fine shots! My biggest fear is, that the AI in WOFF might be similarly "glued on the six" as I guess you are in the Camel, Lou! That would make the second half of 1917 an even nastier time to fly an Albatros in. Not to speak of 1918! ... -
Great - I have internet access for some days! Thank you all - gawd, how I do miss you lot already. Yes, it's nice and peaceful here, and we just start a barbequeue, but still... You all are also my family!

Thanks, Duke, and yes, Navarre also flew a red plane. But I had checked this one, it was a pilot Boucher or similar. -

Yes, it is. When I read the book of Max Immelmann with many of his letters from 1915, I find that they used to speak a bit different, "old fashioned" compared to today's German. "Drum und dran" is still said though (Darum und daran = paraphernalia, trappings). These men were from FA8 (Fliegerabteilung 8), and it looks like they had a little party. -
Since we will soon see "Zeppelins" in WOFF, here is an interesting link to a website by Harry C. Redner about the air ship weapon. Of course I cannot say, how historically correct the information is - perhaps someone else can. But I saw quite some interesting stuff in there. Enjoy! http://www.luftschiffwaffe.de/

As soon as either Kilduff or Franks have translated it, I will sign copies for you guys. Well, and as soon as my many egos have fought out, wether I will sign as Wolfram Harms, Werner Jeschonnek or Alfred... - aerh... - what's the matter? Aw, shut up, Juergen Mahlow, I know you are there too; I know you are all keen on signing the book! Guys, sorry, now they have stolen my pen... Come here, you gawd-damn lot! Here! ... -
Yes, that's a pity indeed. I'll help with specific questions, if you have any, but not before 14 days, when I'll be back from Ostfriesland. Need a good sea breeze to clear my scrambled egg... - aerh - brain, I mean!

Quite close! People with multiple personalities can have quite a big family. That might also explain, why there are so many ghosts round our house. Mmuahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!! -

Not sure yet, Cody - Norman Franks and Peter Kilduff are fighting about the rights! -
Plastic-packing and cooling ruin the smoothness and the flavour. Here's another speciality, which you can only catch in the Wadden Sea: "Granat" or "Krabben" (very small shrimps). Hard to peel, but most delicious. They cook them still on the trawlers; then we buy them right from the boat in the harbour. We eat them cold on dark bred, maybe with a fried egg 'sunny side up', or scrambled eggs. Such a bred is called "Lotsenbrot" (Pilot's Bred - not the flying pilot here, but the naval one).
-
Hmmmm! And I will soon be in Ostfriesland, where I can get it all smoke-warm still! Yummie!!
-
Well, there are lots of vids - here is "Stupid Voters" - but what exactly do you Brits mean with "train spotting"? I know there was a film with that title, but I never saw it.

Important! Follow the install guide in the OFF website neatly. Older CFS3 versions need to be updated/patched to the right version. OFF itself, or atl least "Hat in the Ring!" needed patches. And all this must be done in the right order. In modern Anti-Virus programs should be a mode called "Game Mode" or similar. Activate that; it makes the AV behave different while gaming, without loosing your safety interests.

You don't know what you're missing. It only works with the fatter sorts of fish AFAIK. We know (among others) smoked Makerel, Halibutt, Salmon and Eels. The smoked fish is eaten cold (or when freshly smoked, warm), with horseradish sauce. Taste: very delicious! Best not to eat for dinner, as it may be a bit heavy in the tummy. Or you drink something strong after dinner.

Thank you guys! Though I'm commonly known as the "Albatros Man" - how could I seriously reject the wonderful Sopwith Triplane? 1.000 posts more will be quickly done - perhaps you order one from Mr. Sopwith already, so we won't have delays?
