Like this? . Here's the directory structure for ROF. As you can see, the jsgme.exe is not in a folder at all.
-
That was a right and proper cock-up. CFSWW1 and WOFF are both in the OBD folder. Ah well. So, my address chain now reads C:/OBD/WOFF/JSGME. Is that right? The jsgme.exe and Mods are both in the same folder. Is that right? And should I rename Hellshades Screenshots to read Hellshades Screenshots/OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields? This is a bit trickier that RoF, though I don't know why it should.

Well, I know I've got to be close, but it's not quite working yet. First, I downloaded Hellshade's Screenshots. Then I downloaded JSGME and unzipped it directly into CFSWW1. Inside the JSGME folder, there is a jsgme.exe and a MODS folder. I dragged Hellshades Screenshots (folder and all) into the MODS folder. Then I launched JGSME. Hellshades Screenshots appears in the left-hand column (Available Mods) I highlighted it and clicked the arrow button and now it's in the right-hand column (Activated Mods) But when I open WOFF, I'm still seeing gloves, hand grenades, Lugers, etc.

Finally took the plunge and finished my first skin. .

The site that we all knew is gone. All that's left is us. Witness Olham's thread, "Keep this Airfield alive and going". My feelings are that if we are restricted to discussions of OFF/WOFF, that is the final nail in the coffin. Nobody's asking those questions here anymore; they go to WOFF. Even I. Many, if not most of us, fly other sims. I'd like to hear about it, and any other interesting aviation topics. I've started digging into RoF's movie-making capabilities. I hope to expand into CoD in the not too distant future, and, while I've never been much of a gamer (just flight sims) I've been looking at the naval engagements in Assassin's Creed #4, Black Flag. And Hellshade makes interesting 'SkyRim' vids. Which brings me back to Pol's objections. This is no longer OBD's site, but we are flying their flag. I'd have no objection to re-naming this site. To me, it is simply taking off one hat and donning another. We are the site.

Guess the Plane,Jasta,and pilot

Adger: Over at WOFF, your picture was longer horizontally. At the far upper right corner there appears to be a tear in your world. What is it? -
Guys, Pol has raised an interesting point. This is no longer the OFF site, but it still says OFF on the page heading. Should we welcome posts about other sims, and if so, should we agree on a name change?

It's a sad truth that, even back in the days when this was the OFF site, there were certain members who would sneak out and have a go in RoF. And other sims. A few were spotted in 1941 flying Cliffs of Dover, albeit in mufti, but we kept it discrete. But OFF doesn't live here anymore. We are the site "formerly known as OFF". I agree that it would be a breach of etiquette to post my video at SimHQ or WOFF. But not here. Now we're just a bunch of guys with a interest in WWI aviation. I continue to hold you in the highest regard. P3 was a revelation and I love it still. That said, I'll leave it to the others here, and see how they feel. By the by, I feel it would be easy to draft you into the BOC if it would encourage you to drop by more often.

Here's my first (rudimentary) film done in RoF. I took the Dr.1 out for a walk to test the oil-free windscreen mod. It seems to work just fine. That's what all the gyrations are about. It's been a week of 'firsts'. First flights with the new skin, first time recording a mission, first time editing and adjusting camera angles, had to install JSGME (turned out to be much simpler than I feared) not exactly the first time using Vegas Movie Maker, but it's been a long, long time so it's almost a first, (sort of a re-first) had to register/buy my copy of FRAPS, and go through setting up a Google+/YouTube account. A lot of details. RAF_Lou, and one other on RoF suggested toning down the yellow. At first I was amenable, but after watching this, I think I'll let it stand. If the point of these 'Flying Circus' paint schemes is to flaunt your presence and provoke an enemy to try his luck, I think the ol' Bumblebee stands out plainly from quite a distance. I'll certainly get my butt handed to me, but they'll know Hauksbee's in town. . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-RiNa8sSQc&feature=youtu.be

It's a pity that SimHQ does not allow avatars and graphics in the signature area, but I thought RoF should be introduced to our fellowship. Here's my new signature block.

A branch office for the BOC...
Hauksbee replied to Hauksbee's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Good tip, Corsaire31. 'See you there. -
Now that WOFF is ensconced at SimHQ, mayhap some of us can admit to sneaking out and flying RoF when no one's looking. I've always loved the sheer beauty of RoF despite its shortcomings vis-a-vis OFF. But the one thing that always drives me wild is the oil splashed over goggles and windscreen. Today, in a thread discussing the pros (whatever those might be) and cons of oil splash, I discover there is a mod that allows you to get rid of it. A branch office for the BOC...
Hauksbee replied to Hauksbee's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Yeah...'Lurker'. 'Don't know who ever came up with those dumb titles. You start off with 'Tongue-tied' and work your way up to other things like 'Talking Guru'. It's almost embarrassing, or would be were it not so easy to ignore. . True, it does not have our gentlemanly atmosphere, and quite likely never will. It's a multi-player site with fragile egos and fueled by teen-aged testosterone. But if there were more BOC Badges, we'd know who to expect good company from. . In fact, if there were more BOC Badges, it might exert a civilizing effect. -
As RAF_Lou pointed out, WOFF is brand new. And...after a four year wait. It's price is a little steep for a casual purchase, but right in line with other video games, so just save your pennies and you'll have the purchase price long before WOFF goes on sale..

Yes, that occurred to me too.

Maybe that's because we spent so much time with our foot on the accelerator when we were young? -

Beautiful song, Olham. Is it olde English, or does Cornwall have its own dialect? -

Cornwall always seems outstanding when I see it of British TV dramas: rural, rustic, cottages and cliffs. I wonder what it's like now? Highways, fast-food places, neon? -

Cornwall! Of course. Sticking out into the Atlantic like that. I wonder if Sennen Cove ever loses any houses? -
